Does Dogecoin Private offer anything which other coins (privacy coins) don't offer as of now?
We are on Zerocoin protocol and with the zcoins and all that which many coins also is.
Other than that we are a fun community

and we aim to build some forums with information about masternodes and blockchain and have some good people in our community helping out.
This is about having fun and giving much crypto and masternodes out, then in the long run we will see where it takes us.
At least you are honest, but I assume you cannot compete with the serious anonymous coins out there or do you think otherwise? Are you planning to constantly advance the protocol or just implement the changes others do?
Yeah, we are not promising MOON or saying that we will be listed on big exchanges and all that.
We stay humble, just with the dog with an attitude
The setup with our big supply and very small col for masternodes would not have been the best way if it were just for profit.
We hope to see min 1000 masternodes up and running within the next 2 months.
We have a good community which is making tutorials of how to set up a masternodes and also videos,
people are good at helping each other out and we have many that has started their first masternode with DOGP.
So in that way we are making a little positive impact what goes to knowledge and helping out.
As of know we are not very unique what goes to other privacy coins, other than our cool community and people onboard and the name and the Dog
.We are working on a knowledge platform for MN and POS with some add-ons.
Further we plan to add a mobile wallet soon supporting DOGP.
We do not have a roadmap yet since we still in the early phase and open to ideas from developers and the community.

I asked one dev to double check into this. It is probably the size the blockchain you are seeing there.

And other big news of an CMC exchange listing coming hopefully later today.
On a development note we are releasing soon an ISO image that can be installed to a Raspberry Pi mini computer to help run a node or Masternode. Also a community member has helped develop a script that will install 3 MN (Masternodes) onto 1 VPS. Lots of exciting things happening and will soon be released.
Installing 3 masternodes on 1 VPS might be harmful for the whole network even if you have 3 different IP adresses on it. It is always better to run one MN on one VPS.
We are pretty confident we have found a way to do it that works and is stable

Is there something special planned for the future? Can you tell us more about it?
Our main goal is ease of use, making it fun, and having a strong stable network via Masternodes, Pi and VPS running nodes.
If there is a lot of adoption and use we could move onto use-cases in the future. Great time to get involved.

That guy you quoted was FUD'ing in our group on purpose. The reason for Pre-mine is to have a large bounty and airdrop distribution of which we are starting. A fun currency needs to be used so we are going to get it to the people. Of course one way to earn is through staking in the wallet!
