The fact our webdeveloper emptied the entire ICO wallet and webwallet is another story.

Does it ring a bell when I say I tried to negotiate with the guy who took everything? Our negotiations ended yesterday. He stopped everything after that.

Ironic how I (the scammer in all your opinions) got scammed by his own team right? Our "webdeveloper" pulled the plug on all our services and vanished with all funds.  I tried to track him through his IP's but they we're all proxys. Our "grower" decided not continue with the project after that. All that's left is me.

I'm currently trying to gain access over the domain name and server. Hoping to get a positive response. I do have a backup of all sources from our webservices.

I can defend myself here, but it's of no use. I was powerless and could not protect the community in such a dramatic situation. The reason for my late response is obvious. I'm very much ashamed. I tried to fix this without involving everyone. But with the current development on a takeover I had to speak up.

Give me some time to get things straight or go with a takeover. It's your choice.  If I do gain control over the domain I'm willing to hand it all over for free if you all go with a takeover. This includes the platform sourcecodes I have.

Regarding the dumping. Please keep in mind that people who bought during ICO got their MAR at 4000 or 6000 satoshi. It's not that strange for people to cash out with a profit while bitcoin is on the rise.

As said in our last post, we're working on other exchanges for MAR. But we're also realistic. Poloniex is not within reach in our current state. We've said this before, we believe they will show more interest in listing us once we release more projects from our roadmap. The fact that POT is listed there has nothing to do with us. We're stronger and faster in our releases than POT. No worries there from our side.

After one regular paid listing request, and one premium paid listing request, two personal messages to BlackSmith (Yobit.net admin), one personal message to warden (Yobit.net admin), and one support ticket. We have not heard ANYTHING from Yobit.net.

This concerns us a lot. Considering the growth we're going through the following months and years, we're worried that people who use Marijuanacoin will experience the same 0 support/answer policy. We're worried about the lack of support on wallet updates. We're worried about their obvious lack of customer service. This is totally unacceptable for us as a project leader team. This project, and community deserve so much better than that! We don't have time to handle and don't want to burden new people into marijuanacoin with such an insolvent exchange platform.

Our project aim is adoption in the long run in marijuana dispensaries across the globe. Having Yobit.net in it's current state as a main exchange will result in bad publicity for Marijuanacoin itself. Although the exchange is completely seperated from the Marijuanacoin project, it will reflect heavily on the project itself! Angry and disappointed users, Merchants not being able to count on decent support for exchanging issues, ETC.

We've pulled back our listing funds from Yobit.net. We're going to contact Bittrex.com and C-Cex.com for details about their listing requirements. We'll keep you updated on this progress!

We hope they will add us this weekend though. It would be more convenient for us with the shop launch and API usage in mind.

It would be very strange if they ignore us now. We've paid the 0.5 for a premium listing. Our ICO was fully transparent. Our pre-sale leftovers we're burned. Our developments are originals. So no reason not to add us at this point.  

We just need to be patient.

We are well aware of the opportunities in this industry for this project.
On top of that our team consists mostly out of pot-heads. (Pot-heads, but educated ) This results in a good relationship within the team, and positive vibes while working on the project.

On the question if we take this seriously, 100% yes!
We've spent a lot of time on this project, even before launch. Our webwallet, Tetris faucet, and block explorer back-end are all created from nothing. We don't want to rely on opensource software if we don't need to. We prefer building all our (web)applications ourselves. This includes future releases. Our Desktop wallet is kind of unique. We're the first with a full tab of multiple network statistics graphs for example.
We're kind of unique in that matter. Not many projects code their own projects, they rely on outdated opensource applications instead.

So yeah, I think you can say we are serious here.



There is no maximum supply. As in fiat, inflation has to be there. We go full PoS after block 2000000.

Both Cryptopia and Coinmarketcap are informed on our new explorer/api. Once we confirmed they have updated, we'll have the secondary explorer go offline.

The FAQ and API pages are finished and added to the explorer.
Once we migrate the online wallet into the explorer, we'll have a private API in place to communicate with your online wallet. This will be set in motion in a month or two. This function will also be used to generate new payment addresses in your online wallet if you are a "merchant" in our upcoming marketplace. The marketplace is an extension on our upcoming Seedshop. 

This will be marketed during the last step of our roadmap.

Explorer FAQ and API page are expected to be finished later tonight.

Our final listing attempt at yobit has been set in motion. The 0.5 BTC has been put into a yobit code for listing.
