Re: Can you tell how old is a BitcoinTalk Profile by it's number?

So my profile link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1245994 . Can you tell by this number "=1245994" how old it is? Or, is there a general rule of this number?

There is No rule except that numbering goes up with 1 after each registration. If you know How many accounts were created each week from the start of the forum till now you can make an expectation And calculate when an account has been made, if not just press on the account link it’s the easiest way.

Re: Why would somebody donate 50 BTC for VIP status?

Why would somebody donate 50 BTC? That is worth nearly 400,000$! Huh

Here we go again...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38071.420

Read that whole topic And report back by closing this topic. The donator And VIP status originates from way back bitcoin was worth Next to nothing.

“Why not reduce the price?”
Won’t happen Because it’s unfair to the people already donated + the forum generates enough money to not rely on donators anymore.

automatically replace "Bitcoin Cash" as well as "BCH" with "Altcoin Cash" / "ACH"  in the forum software for all new posts.

I support this.

Given that it's just an alt created in a ridiculous "plot to kill BTC" and with all the massive manipulation that is going on, this is only fair.

so says YOUR opinion. if you think this forum will do that you need to review this place Cheesy
BCT is about freedom, so anyone can post w.e.(for the most part)
dont give your money to things you FEEL are a scam, plain and simple
you dont need a "daddy" here to shadow change anything posted, use your BRAINS Cheesy
alts are alts, Mother BTC is the same as it always was
if you knew more about it, you may agree, and not ask the forum to CENSOR opinions
what a dumb request lol

Calling this a dumb request is nothing but your arrogant opinion.

Alts are alts, but alts that steal Bitcoin's name in a plot to kill BTC (as pettybuds correctly pointed out) is an attack on the brand that Bitcoiners do not have to support. I would not call this censorship, it's merely a correction of the utterly misused name.

I see Lauda began negging supporters who went too far promoting this fake Bitcoin chain and I completely understand this decision. This deception and foul play is dangerous. Why not take care of it? Altcoin Cash is a more than fair proposal, personallly I'd replace go so far as to replace it with "scum"

It would be a bad precedent for future coins if this would succeed. Freedom of speech within the rules of the forum is in place. We don’t need people like you to dictate the rest And change names of coins you don’t like, grow up educate yourself. If something is bad discuss it but don’t censor things you don’t like.

Concerning the recent and ongoing orchestrated attack on Bitcoin and the rise of countless Newbie accounts trying to deceive Bitcoin users into buying BCH or similar scam chains that feed off the original Bitcoin brand and try to damage Bitcoin itself, I suggest the implementation of certain measures on Bitcointalk in order to help stop this madness.

My suggestion: automatically replace "Bitcoin Cash" as well as "BCH" with "Altcoin Cash" / "ACH"  in the forum software for all new posts.

Why would Bitcointalk support an altcoin that misuses its name? There is no reason to. "Bitcoin" Cash is not a legit name and must not be supported on a real Bitcoin forum.

Where is the proof that: countless Newbie accounts trying to deceive Bitcoin users into buying BCH

Why would someone “fall for it”? Everybody is entitled to make it’s OWN decision. If you fail to do that it’s your own fault.

Bitcoin cash is an official name as it’s a fork from bitcoin itself, as well as bitcoin gold. Why would you want to change it’s name on the forum doesn’t make sense.

If you feel threatend by bitcoin cash Please join the discusion in the altcoin forum, and move this thread there

In Communist Countries, it's illegal to have or using CryptoCurrency.

Proof? I have not read about countries that can ban the posession of bitcoins. Your wallet is not attached to your ID, so best of luck to the government that tries to bann all bitcoins in their country.

If I am getting this right there is a token called bitcoinquick that operates on the ethereum network. That itself should be suspicious don’t you think. All these *bitcoin* coins/tokens rely on faith that people have in bitcoin. So be aware, there is just 1 bitcoin.

I think it go down to around 500 USD once folks sell it, what you think?

For now you can trade on hitbtc. But be prepared for an announcement days before the fork for other Exchanges.

Most, if not all p&d groups tend to care about themselves And do pre pumps. Why is your group different from the already exisiting p&d groups
