Title says all. Personally I vote bubble. Anything that increases 1000x is too good to be true IMO.

Did you try swapping USB cable - you know that the stock cable from Trezor is of bad quality.

Yeah first thing I tried.

Bear in mind it still works through the web interface just not through Electrum itself at the moment.

Windows 10 does not see Trezor in Electrum 2.7.17

Using Electrum 2.7.17

Imported a Trezor hardware wallet last month using Electrum 2.7.14 everything tested fine. Electrum recognized the wallet and PIN and imported successfully.

Now as of today, I'm unable to connect to my Trezor through Electrum  but can through the https://wallet.trezor.io website.

Error message is "Connection failed" when trying to load the wallet.

For troubleshooting attempted to set up a new hardware wallet, the error message is: "No hardware device detected. To trigger a rescan, press 'next'.

This is on a fully up to date Windows 10 machine. (ewww)

Known issue or just the computer?

Thanks!

Final migration of the forum from dashtalk.org to dash.org/forum is happening now. If things go as expected everything should be up again in a couple hours

Yes it is. Smooth as silk.

I have feeling when they are left bitcointalk, they were lost..Only chance for some reviving is here i think. Slack is good must say but i don't like sects. All movement on Bittrex was just small manipulation.

I believe something is brewing, but we shall see.
still waiting for it....

I did the same thing, with Litecoin, when I first started! Freaked me out thinking that all my coins got stolen! Now I always reuse an existing address for change.

There is a it's a good idea to use fresh change addresses.
Although, we won't have to worry about the problem for years to come.

Once an address has been /sent from/ its public key is visible on the network.
Eventually, years from now, a quantum computer may be able to compute the private key of that address given it's public key.
But, since addresses are /hashes of/ public keys, un-sent-from addresses are not susceptible to this particular attack.

I've proposed for some time now a feature to be able to add a static change address to the config file. Obviously this has potential anonymity issues, but on the other side of the scope it brings great benefits for many different types of operations out there. Be it at a private or corporate level.

The proper way to manage this is with deterministic address chains. (BIP32/BIP44)
Best of both worlds. Fresh addresses and absolute certainty your funds lie within your chain/your control.

Agreed. But how do I implement this with the QT ? Is this currently possible, or a future possible feature ?

I think someone was working on this with Encompass.

Linode (the hosting provider for the forums) is experiencing an issue with their nameservers.

At this time, DashTalk.org is operational but might timeout trying to reach it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Honestly I am surprised this is said about Dash, I thought it was pretty much consensus that the Monero community is self centered as hell. Any forum post there is at least one or two of them willing to say whatever to push you towards their coin.

It only seems centered because everyone is looking in and watching what Dash does.

5063 pages of posts for this coin?
Why so many posts?

Because it's the de facto altcoin.
