If anyone is implying that I might unwittingly or accidentally cheated, let me just say this you can’t unwittingly or accidentally cheat. Its either you choose to cheat or not. It’s funny how people nowadays can’t even be honest with themselves and their words these days.

I want to clarify that my post was intended to let others know that my payment stopped as of 15 th June and ad a warming or heads up to what might probably happen to them in a near future. I provide my insights in how this faucet scheme have been going on .

This is not a debate or argument on whether coinpot is still paying or not. And unless you have requested a payment after 15 th June 2020 and have some sort of proof then you are just assuming they are still paying regularly like how it has been for the past 3 years. And you know know what they say “assuming is the muthafcuker of all fcuk ups” period

If i have been with them for 3 years, played by their rules and still get suspended, then your time will come soon enough unless of course you are them.

The only difference is I get to be the victim because I was not given any heads up or warning, and you get to be the moron when that happens so live with it. Tell a moron that there is a pit full of shit 5 steps ahead and the moron will take that 5 steps, fall into the pit, pull himself out of the pit all covered in shit and then say oh there really is a pit full of shit.

And I know for a fact that there are plenty of morons like you in forums like these.

As of June 15 my withdrawal stop completely, checking through transaction history I saw status was cancelled. A message appear when i click the cancel status and it says I have breached their TOS due to fraudulent activity Huh

My account had like 1 referral who was my cousin. But anyway to keep it short if your account has just been collecting and transferring your earnings out of coinpot to your “own” wallet that probably count as fraudulent activity I suppose Roll Eyes

But for me a lesson learn again not to trust faucets, withdraw regularly and take no bullshit. But also it wasn’t that unexpected, just got comfortable after a few years using the faucet.

I felt it coming when they announced they got hacked but manage to keep the wallet safe and everything else intact except the “referral database”. Now why would a hacker prize the referral database over coinpot wallet which is the mother-load . And coinpot referral database is just email and name. Even the faucet that weren't affected lost their referrals, oh my what coincidence.

The thing is coinpot is a scam, it just doesn’t scam people everyday. Every year or two , if you google search “coinpot scam”  you will see those whose account is suspended. And the thing about coinpot they don’t block your account instead they will cancel your withdrawal and keep it for themselves. And you can still collect from the faucet, means those who are unaware and getting too comfortable will probably only know weeks after that coinpot had cheated and stolen their money.

Coinpot TOS states you may choose to not continue using coinpot at anytime which basically translate into we are stealing your stuff right infront of your face. And TOS over the internet in the crypto world is just a load of BS. Terms and condition means nuts when you don’t have a company or anything physical to proof.

Its just after the wuhan virus aftermath, mostly everyone is tight on cash, coinpot owner is not different. So he decides to steal.. no ads no money and faucet rely on ads to make profit not survive. You can see it in almost all faucet as they gain popularity and traffic their ads and redirect start pilling up.

So this is the thing get in and get out, in crypto world everyone is trying to make a quick buck out of someone. So noe we strike coinpot of our bookmark and that leaves us with just freebitco. The only but one faucet left, which some consider reputable.

But there will always be another coinpot coming into the game because the same people would just switch names and brand. I just have to say that i have a feeling coinpot wallet is gonna get hacked next. Assuming they are smart enough not to keep everything in a hot wallet.. so they will probably manage to only salvage their tokens.

That is the bitter distasteful part of crypto, so much for privacy if its unregulated. I would picture crypto to the street protest in US and think, if with laws people are acting this way imagine how people would be like in a crypto world without laws.

Today I recover the 100% DASH & BCH daily loyalty bonus lost several days ago. I am happy with this issue.

PD: Coinpot lies with the Statistics page as Freebitco.in does imo...

Well every statistic has discrepancy, but the question is rather why is there a statistic then their lies.

Anyway just a piece of advice , don’t be too happy on your loyalty bonus, I would advice you to
try withdrawing first. Because what use is loyalty bonus if you can’t withdraw.

The only way to know if your account is suspended is to make a withdrawal. And yes they steal all your earnings by suspending “your“ coinpot wallet.

My withdrawal of 0.00010255 BTC on June 13 got cancelled and my account got suspended. After the withdrawal had been canceled BTC did not return to my balance. This is a scam. I did not do anything that violates their terms of service. Support keeps ignoring me. I have been using moon faucents for over 1.5 years now.

Same here I just got suspended on my withdrawal on June 15, for alleged breach of TOS. But I can still claim on my account but the funds are not returned when I withdraw. I only found out today and have been clicking for days now.

So although my account is suppose to be suspended, but coinpot sure doesn’t seem to mind freeloading on my efforts. Why would my account be suspended and still allowed to claim ? I won’t be surprise that the ransomware issue was made up to wipe out the referrals cause they want a bigger cut of the profit for themselves.

After all faucet owners will always accuse the “invisible people“  for manipulating their faucet, when in fact they are the biggest manipulators. Insert a extra ad, a pop up here and there when running low on cash. Ignore all mails because they are just too lazy. Just by looking at their webpage designs tells you alot about a person character. Be it positive or negative.

on 22/02/2020, 21:43:54 UTC
I just notice recently that there is a hash rate drop on 1070 Strix using latest miner 4.9c and it happens both on nicehash and pool mining. I used to have a hashrate of 184 with all 6 gpu running with my current oc settings. But now it seem to drop to about 181.x and sometimes even lower till around 179. I have maintained the same overclock settings as before.

The idea of less fee is a nice one but if its at the expense of hashrate then its just back to square one. But i am curious as to why it happens seeing as I have maintained the same settings for almost two years now.

I have been doing a small comparison with latest current version of claymore but correct me if I am wrong. it seems even with the extra fees claymore has retake the number one spot for fastest ethereum miner on a 1070. Or is every gpu suffering the same fatez

It might look like its only 3 mhz but not forgetting its per second. So Thats like less 180mhz every 1 minute.

Re: COINTIPLY.COM - Faucet, Offerwalls, Videos, Multiplier! [OFFiCIAL]
by

on 22/11/2019, 01:18:42 UTC
Cointiply is a ponzi style faucet only it is exploiting users time and effort to click the ads and do endless survey which they get paid for by the ads company. Any faucet which offers their own type of coins which is not listed in exchanges is a ponzi scheme. To list a coin on any exchange you need to pay a fee, generally the more volume an exchange transacted the more expensive the fees is to list a coin.

Right now what Cointiply is actually doing is printing money out of thin air, and their version of money is Coins which is not listed in any exchanges. Now one would say their coins is pegged to the USD but the real meaning of a peg currency is that you have to proof that you have that amount of money stashed aside to pay everyone if they decided to cash out. Which Cointiply obviously can’t hence the increase in withdrawal amount is now 100k coins. The 5% is to fool people into keeping their coins and not withdrawing.

Problem with faucets who do not pay you on the spot, have a high withdrawal limit or have their own version of coins is there often create a big negative balance. In accounting terms negative balance means that you now owe somebody money or instead. Now what really happens when a coin is peg is when the bitcoin drops in value it would create a chain effect meaning now the faucets will have to pay more bitcoin compared to when the price was high. Very few faucet owners employ provisioning as strategy and often take too much for themselves to spend and when the price of bitcoin fluctuate they get caught in the flow of the current and unable to keep up.

Cointiply does not have a selling product, nor does it have a good track records to back them up.They started in 2018 and its a fairly new site with tons of promotion. One must understand the more promotion any entity does it only means that is never a promotion. Their terms and condition on their site might make them look genuine but in reality if they were to suddenly disappear into thin air those terms and condition would mean nothing. Genuine and reputable faucets with good track records do not need to do massive promotion because they already gain that over time and through their referral databases. In the crypto world there is nothing else for us to work with besides track records to judge someone legitimacy.

What they are doing now is creating a hype about free coins just by chatting to attract users, and they will tell you that only by clicking their ads and completing surveys and chatting would one be entitled for what they call “Rain chat bonus” which seemingly to most is free coins. So in a way they are printing more Coins which is to attract and pay user, while more and more people flock in under the pretence of free money and click those ads and surveys. Nothing is ever free and the sooner everyone figure that out the sooner they stop making people running ponzi style faucets rich.

Why do I call it a ponzi, well because the sooner you get out of it, the safer you are. In a ponzi scheme the first one in and the last one out has the most to loose. Those who went in early and left early makes some profit and those who went in late and is the last one out looses everything.

Re: Tradesatoshi is a scam ?
by
Psychobitch
on 14/11/2019, 22:38:22 UTC
Why I still use TS from time to time, and yet to encounter any sort of scam but based on my persona experience they are sort of a manipulative bunch to start with. I wouldn’t recommend putting any sort of real money into this exchange especially amount that you are not comfortable losing. This exchange offers a lowly paid faucet and a chat trollbox that tips junk coins to unsuspecting newbies who are just in it to get something free.

Newbies do not know that everytime they click a captcha Trade Satoshi gets paid and what they offer in return is definitely below industry faucet standards. Which faucets gives 2 satoshi per captcha solved every hour right? not a scam but definitely a cheapskate. Imagine if you had a boss who pays you wages 75% below market rate, in the real world that is called exploitation lol. And the best part is this most of the newbies will never be able to withdraw much of anything they collected because of the massive minimum withdrawal they imposed and sky high fees.

They have too many or frequent wallet maintainence. And you are advice to check every time you decide to deposit/withdraw from the wallet which I find is a hassle. The seem unable to conduct maintainence like other exchanges where it is done in a single day. Even with so many frequent wallet maintainence  some of their wallets still do not function properly. I have deposited some coins before only to have it magically “misplaced”. I say used the word “misplaced” because I was able to retrieve it after a few hours when the price of the coin has changed.

Now generally one would assume that if a exchange had a chatbox or trollbox as they call it asking for help or
support would be easy, but thats not the case. Asking for help in their troll box is a futile attempt because their mods would ask you to send a support ticket for everything. Especially question or issues that will jeopardise their image. Like if they make any sudden changes to their terms or increase of fees and you ask the mods in a casual way “hey what with the sudden change” , you would be replied with a send a support ticket. Which i find is completely stupid, because its as if their mods are bots amd cannot tell the difference between a casual question or one that is issue related. Not forgetting that their chatbox has one few dumbest rule, type to much its spam, type to little its bot, ask a causal question support ticket, no avatar gets you banned. Users are expected to go in and just type hello everybody good morning and night. And something I notice is they have tons of mods but most are completely useless.

Their news or announcement section announce the delisting of coins regularly and anything but the important issues. What happens to the coins which are delisted is unknown but one can only suspect that it goes into their own account. Thats because most of the newbies collect it from the faucet and they are never able to reach minimum withdrawal unless they buy them junk coins to top up. It’s really a catchy setup if you ask me have a faucet which pays peanuts, have a chatbox which tip junk coins, have a trading platform with high minimum withdrawal and high fees. That way the more the newbies click on the faucets the more money they make.

Now about their image or reputation one can not deny that every exchanges has it problems just like every businesses in the real world has unsatisfied customers or client. But if you type “Trade Satoshi Review on google” you will notice they seem to have more then usual scam accusation directed to them. If they do receive any sort of praise it would he about their security, speed and two factor authorisation and they will be rated 5 star lol. Now common sense says that their security can’t be better then the other giant exchanges neither can their speed and most top exchanges have two factor authorisation. Its an industry standard and theirs is nothing to gloat about and certainly doesn’t deserve 5 star rating. If they get getting 5 star then binance, bittrex should be getting what 10 stars ? lol. This certainly shows that they themselves are frequently getting on website to post fake reviews to sway public attention.

Now the most disturbing part is this they require KYC. I certainly won’t trust an exchange like this with my personal info and documents. And the terms and condition they stated is just to make them sound legitimate. People should understand crypto is still very much unregulated and while exchanges are require to have operating license no one can help you if they decide to change their terms and condition in anyway they see fit. Here in the crypto world we have only reputation and track records to work with. If they have a bad reputation or too many scam accusations you can be sure that some of it is probably true.

What made me lose confidence in this exchange is when they conducted a competition to increase their popularity. I personally participated in one of their competition whereby they stated every user would be given some sort of a prize regardless if they win or not. Sounds fair though the prize wasn’t much but at least the task completed wouldn’t be a waste of time and part of the task was to deposit into funds into  tradesatoshi lol. It was a JV event with cryptoadventure and they claim the prize would be given a month later. Now halfway through the month till the date they changed their terms and it was only capped to 300 winners.

Now cryptoadventure claim they had a unexpected surge of participants and only had limited funds so they figured that it would be best to make the minority happy and upset the majority.. That was the replied I got from them on twitter. ”it was stated on our terms and condition you should read properly next time”. Which was funny cause I read the terms and they changed it and they are asking me to read properly the next time. Well there definetely won’t be a next time for me lol. Now what really happened was is that during that one month period the price of coins fluctuate.

Now what came next was hilarious every mod actually went on twitter and supported/liked the idea lol. It almost look as if this exchange was some sort of a cult. This cult behaviour can also be seen on Trustpilot, a place where i frequently write my reviews and findings. If you search Trade Satoshi on google you will find one in trustpilot and you will see post after post regarding trade satoshi saying it the best exchange and given 5 star rating. I was planning to give them a nice honest review but just too busy lately but i still have the screenshot of their replies with me and will do so when i have more time.

in the end the verdict is this, while they might not outright scam you now track records and reputation shows that they certainly won’t hesitate to do so if there is an opportunity. A leopard can never lose it spots and anyone associated with them you should take precaution because birds of a feather flock together.

I encounter a weird situation with them when trading on their platform. Say a particular coin current rate is 0.00000001 and I try to buy 20000 coins at market rate, it says insufficient fund. Then when I lower the amount of coin i want to buy to 10000 instead, it bought 10000 coins at 0.00000002 and 0.00000003. Is that a norm ?

1. Bitmain has been running the X3, probably 3-4 months ago, just take a look at the hash-rate spike.
2. Bitmain have been selling XMR them for bitcoin and then selling of the bitcoins to fill theirs and roger pockets, fund their operation and Bcash project.
3. Bitmain is selling of their Bcash as idiots buy in.
4. Bitmain bcash serves no purpose except to buy more of their company used or refurbished antminers
5. Bitmain is harvesting and transferring the wealth of other alt coins for their own cockamamie scheme
6. Bitmain did the same thing to Litecoin,Dash,Dodge etc and now it's Monero.
7. Bitmain is the whole reason why the prices are what it is today.
8. Bitmain steals the work, vision of others and claim it's theirs.
9. Bitmain fans here are probably those who already spend $11,999 on a X3,  Cheesy
10. Bitmain operates in China, one of the first few country that claim a ban on crypto but yet they are still operating.  Roll Eyes
11. Bitmain like most China companies have poor business ethics, low quality controlled products, poor after sales service.
12. Bitmain is now a billion dollar industry which have some sort of scheme with the Chinese governments.
13. Bitmain A3 & D3 devices are a good example why you should not buy their products

Re: Monero ASIC next from Baikal (was: Bitmain)?
by
Psychobitch
on 15/03/2018, 10:59:08 UTC
The reason for the sudden hash rate increase is because all ASIC manufacturers are using them to mine first before unloading the used hardware for the public to buy at premium price. I mean ask yourself I you were them wouldn't you do that ?  Grin

When they do sell them ASIC miners, it basically means it is no longer profitable for them to mine or the profits margin from mining is getting thinner. like say probably another 3-4 months or so, about the time you will receive your unit if you order now. Ever wonder why it is always pre order and 2-3 months from now.  Grin

Manufacturer need money to fund their manufacturing and running cost itself. Seeing is how BCash is part of bitmain they can't possibly sell Bcash to convert into fiat to fund their cost, it would be like the US selling off USD to other countries to pay for the deficit. So they have to use other coin projects like Dash,Monero, Sia coin or any altcoins from the list which has good acceptance and market cap.

Mine Bitcoin--> Sell Bitcoin --> Fund Bcash
Mine Dash --> Sell Dash --> Fund Bcash
Mine Sia --> Sell Sia --> Fund Bcash
Mine Monero --> Sell Monero --> Fund Bcash

E.G. Country A setup a mining company in Country B to mine and then transfer all the wealth and profits from from mining in Country B to Country A.  Grin

If there is gold to be mine, no manufacturer is gonna let you be the first to mine it. When the buying stops the supply stops.  Grin

Re: The most profitable altcoin to mine on CPU
by
Psychobitch
on 28/02/2018, 04:59:18 UTC
1070 is trash compared to vega ? Roll Eyes . just because a GPU has the higher speed doesn't mean its the most efficient, unless of course you are somehow exploiting ways to get free electricity or basically stealing electricity, because there is really no such thing as free electricity. And a vega cost more or double the price of a 1070. you can almost get 2 1070 for the price of a vega.

CPU + GPU mining at the same time has the same wear and tear effects on your hardware, as both needs to be powered up to run. Saying that it is okay to mine with your GPU and not your CPU as it will damage your CPU is just bs if you ask me. It's like saying it is okay to f up your lungs by smoking but not okay to f up your liver by drinking. And for some miners, their GPU cost more then their CPU.

The only difference if you mine with your CPU is electricity cost. The real question you should ask yourself is the CPU mining profit enough to cover the cost of your electricity ? If it is not then your basically diluting your profits earned from your GPU mining. Unless there is a certain coin which you feel has a potential to increase in price then by all means mine away.
