It seems that this is a promising project, all the details are clearly stated regarding project roadmap, pre-sell and main ICO.

Who is the poster? Look, the same phrase here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2982925.msg33871394#msg33871394

Yep. That's a bot controlled account. It is raising that account's activity score so that when they announce their copy/paste coin, it looks like it comes from a credible person with a lot of bitcointalk activity.

The general consensus is that ASICs will target current exchange coins first to get ROI.
I am still undecided on the course of action.

Hmmm... Is there anyone planning on picking up the ball and rebooting the project? I, myself, do not have experience in this so it will have to be someone else in the community willing to run with it if they feel the coin is worth salvaging.

Hey guys! We got the backend of the official pool to be up! Front end will be up shortly Smiley
Will it be better than the 0 fee one that pays out at 1 euro? It's hard to beat that.

a 10% fee is way to high, I'll wait for the official pool.
It is high but as he said, He is discouraging too many people from using it at the moment. He doesn't wish to be an "official" pool.
I am fine with 10% because my low hash rate would give me nothing if I didn't have a pool to use. I will switch to official pool once it is up but for now geting my 12 coins or so a minute is better than getting nothing.

If devs are interested in working code, I will send it to them of course.
Just say Wink I don't want to be "primary pool" but your release still delayed so I fixed it myself because people just want some pool.

Currently making 11.15840650 EURB / minute using your pool. For my low 85 hash/sec rate, I am pretty happy about it.

Again, Thanks!

Oh, And the payments to my wallet are going through. YAY!

Only been connected to your pool for less than 15 minutes. Have 237.89217864 EURB so far. Yeah... I know, I have a slow hash rate. BUT it's better than nothing with solo mining.

THANKS!!!

How does one tell the difficulty from the cli?

Maybe change the log level?
try "set_log 3"
It will then display debug info. Just wait a bit and look for a line like:
16:13:46.381808 DEBUG HEIGHT 3187, difficulty:  4177316

hi mate, what linux you was using for ubuntu 16.04/debian?
I am using Windows version: that's a command in the eurobitd.exe

About pools, if anyone is just interested in connecting ccminer or something, https://github.com/forknote/forknote-pool.git
works quite well.

Forknote code won't work I don't think, calls different RPC commands
Also not too sure about this but I would suggest using walletd for services but simplewallet could work fine too I suppose Tongue

Why? RPC works just fine, including payouts. At least, it was easier to setup... so maybe there's no need to wait for Codex02/Eurobit-Pool, which is the same piece of code... nearly

Some of the RPC calls in the code give errors to walletd, such as getbalance, they need to be changed.
Regardless the code will be done by today and a pool will be open today, so you won't need to wait much longer for mining or to set up your own pool Smiley
YAY! So will you also post binaries? or do we need to run the build ourselves. I will probably download what you have from https://github.com/Codex02/Eurobit-Pool and construct build to make sure I have all the required dependencies incase you are not posting binaries.

So what is the pool address to use in place of "yourpool:3333"
Code:
$ ./ccminer -o stratum+tcp://yourpool:3333 -u  -p x
