I invested half of my saving ($25,000) into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst. I want to go kill myself

So few things happened here. First, you invested your money and you thought, it will be so easy and fast to earn money with this. Which is if you see the last year and Ethereum chart. The market is in downfall after a huge rise and that is normal. When week people dump their money rise will start. So no worry there. Second, you didn't follow the Ethereum's development. If you did then you should not be worried, because they are working hard on scaling issue and that would be something that will be beneficial for the Ethereums value this year. Read about it on the internet. Third, your investment is big no matter how much money you have, but you are a lousy holder. You need to pull up your balls and hang in there or just turn off your pc and phone and go do something for couple months, don't think about it.
Diversity is definitely your strong point here. Personally, I would buy Ethereum to this portfolio, but you can and want to take a risk so you can gain much more and that is understandable. Just don't sell it too early, wait.
I understand that they want to back their coin with gold like dollar was backed up back in the days until 1971, but this could be some kind of downgrading the coin.

My mathematical formulas tells me bitcoin will be somewhere between 46,653-57,259 at the end of this year.

Market cap and Bitcoin price that you predicted are realistic to me, but if this dip continues for several months more, every of your prediction will be incorrect.

A wise crypto trader said that a "rising tide will lift all boats." This is what we always see after heavy BTC rises and following BTC sideaways accumulation phases. What I want to say it that all alts will explode during this time. But be careful. We will see many full retraces after this like every time.

When we see this we instantly connect that to the worst possible news. We can see now adoptions and regulations in many countries today, but there always be that fear that something bad will happen.
Back then it BTC crashed around 97% This is not the same even I wouldn't mind getting some cheap coins. The market is bigger and that kind of hit would need a serious action. Every decade we could see some very big crashes, but I think this is too early to see it this year.
Well for some reason Bitcore is one of rare coins that didn't lose his value during the previous drop. Interesting thing happened when Bitcoin Cash tried to overtake Bitcoin. When fight was on many people bought Bitcore, because he has better technology of these three coins. Everyone thought the escape plan to best Bit coin on the market. It's not the smartest idea, but it gave a certain rush into Bitcore.

We can't possibly know what price will be in 5 years. That is a very long period at the moment in crypocurrencies. Predictions for this year are hard enough. I can only say that it will be above 10k, but that's all. Many factors are included in Ethereum value like his development, Bitcoins development, market development etc.
