Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin?
by

on 05/06/2018, 21:47:19 UTC
When you are deep deep in profit, like you bought at $250 or less, even a crash wouldn't be the end of the world.
The price is $18k, that is crazy!  I have taken profit but and still holding and hoping for more.

Tether looks dodgy as hell and might be the reason for the eventual popping of the bubble, but until then it is a lot of new money pumping Bitcoin to ever higher heights!

I don't feel too much like an idiot, I feel like I am already in profit, even if my remaining Bitcoin were worth zero.  I don't really need the extra cash for anything, so I am waiting to see where this crazy rise goes!

How foolish are you? To said that in the bitcoin community! Indeed! A lot of people trust the bitcoin 'crazy rise' because its in the history! Bitcoin always goes up and down.

Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin.
by

on 05/06/2018, 21:45:38 UTC
This is quite risky bro. You decided not to pay for school fees to invest on something you are not a hundred percent sure. Yes, investing is not so bad only if you have an allocated money for it. But risking an amount that is supposed to be spent on a need or something more important is not a thing I would do. Spend your extra money only. You already said it, you are still a student. Your future depends on your decisions. Not all investment decisions are okay, especially if you risked something that should be your primary priority.

It is actually a good story to share though! He showed that he has a faith in bitcoin even his school fees  he invested in bitcoin. Meaning, he trust that it'll grow more. On the other side, he should spend atleast his extra money i agree on the commentators. What if bitcoin price get low. How'd about your school? Right. Think before doing something.

So am i, it is not because its fallen doesn't mean it can came back again. If you saw the bitcoin graph . You'll always see how fast bitcoin recovery can do.

Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits?

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

Every business needs to adapt to changes and challenges like this. Im pretty sure banks are already finding ways to join the bandwagon.they will surely profit from it. It would just be a matter of time until they accept bitcoin deposit and withdrawals.

i don't think so because banks see bitcoin as their competitor i guess, but no one knows right maybe after a decade they will accept bitcoin all over the world.

Re: What does bitcoin need to improve?
by

I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.
..

Bitcoin is one of the secured online currencies and more trustable now a days so we can definitely make a improvement in bitcoin like putting bitcoin ATM's on all cities it is very helpful to withdraw their bitcoin quickly without delay this will helpful to improve bitcoin user's all over the world.

Bitcoin need to improve the security itself and all the transactions made from person to person. a lot of fake news are surrounded in the community trying to beat the bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits?

Day by day, you can see many news like it. But bitcoin has great potential. Still it is a profitable coin. I think it will work for a long run. Don't be panic about bitcoin. Hopefully price will be increasing very soon.

It is indeed a profitable coin! It also depends on you if you take such risk in bitcoin if you dont want to then join the campaign and then the money that you'll get or should i say the tokens you can use it to invest.

Re: the benefits of managing bitcoin
by

You get to be in absolute control of what happens to your money and your asset. You get to pick, what to buy, when to buy and you pick out when to sell and do with your money as you like.

Indeed! but if you are referring to the bitcoin itself. There's a lot of benefits you can get when you are able to manage the whole bitcoin. It is a currency other local currency like the banks has a lot of benefits what more the bitcoin right?

Re: Is it too late? (To buy Bitcoin now)
by
Punisherx100

When we come to Bitcoin we need patience and determination. Bitcoin is an electronic currency whose quantity is limited. So it can not die prematurely. We have nothing to worry about Bitcoin. This is an opportunity for us to hold more Bitcoin.
The final decision is yours.

Its never too late to buy bitcoin. espescially, nowadays take advantage that bitcoin is not that pricey unlike before. so, buy bitcoin now hold it and invest later.

Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin?
by
Punisherx100
on 01/06/2018, 02:59:05 UTC
Because there is a record that bitcoin hit almost a million when in fact on its early years it just cost like 0.50 dollars its like a negative amount or doesn't have value at all but look at what bitcoin reached now. Although, bitcoin has its highs and lows. it will surely never lose. its either on this year low next 3 years very high. Many of us bitcoin community users or the people who still buying the bitcoin have faith that it will double the price in the future when they avail it right now.

Because it's still new. And actually a solid percentage of bitcoin users still don't 'trust' bitcoin.

Indeed! and a lot of them for sure have this issue in investing or they see the bitcoin as their competitors especially the national currency an example is the banks.

No practically it seems not possible to happen. Not all the people would accept decentralised cryptos as their primary currencies.

Maybe soon? the evolution of money. Haven't you learned about that? We never can tell and when government implement the crypto whether the people like it or not. There's nothing they can do about it.

Re: bitcoin on movies

In the series Billions they talk about getting paid in cryptocurrency in several episodes. A hedge-fund manager got banned from trading by the government so he'll name another guy as the head of trading, direct the trades and get paid in cryptocurrency so the government can't see that.

If ever bitcoin will be on the movies. I expect that a lot of people will stir their curiousity in bitcoin world. There's a pros and cons. They'll love it or they'll hate it.

Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins
by
Punisherx100
on 01/06/2018, 02:38:38 UTC
Wow, he has actually 103 Bitcoin in his wallet. He must be really disappointed with losing his wallet.dat. I wish he gets it soon as possible back but that is nearly impossible.

I would kill myself if that happens to me, haha, just a joke, but no one can really be happy if he/she lost more than a one million dollars! I mean, i would not even know how i could react.

That is why the hardware wallets have ever existed, and i remember that i started mining on 2013 and i did not even stored my bitcoins on my pc, everything was on my paper wallet and i switched to hardware lately on 2015.

This is such a great idea i agree with this. I really feel sorry for him a million dollars is a lot! Everything he did was useless i feel so sad.

I don't think that other coins move faster. its just that there are so many new currencies in crypto world. Others might be curious on other crypto currencies, thats why they try to invest in other cryptos thinking that how it will work, they might be comparing the bitcoin.

Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat?

If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?

Well, obviously they might experience a decrease in their profit or worse to closed their business. This seems possible for we are in the digital age today and as time goes by, technology becomes part of each individual's life, including those in rural areas. Maybe some business will closed but I am pretty sure that new business will arise.

Therefore, a large possible deficit is only to the old businesses like banks but it brings a chance to the new crypto related  business to sustain the needs of our economy. Maybe it brings negative outcomes to some specific businesses but it was good in general, a  new start for this developing world.

btw, are you a teacher? your name seems familiar.

Re: The lack of financial education
by
Punisherx100
on 16/02/2018, 15:34:18 UTC
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

Basically, if we wanted to make more interested youth in
and finance, we should start it at school for obviously it is not being teach at home commonly (but it's a must). We should engage or students in a fun, interactive and smart activities that will help them to understand this serious possible problems in a light way. APPLICATION is very important to develop a certain skill, theorys are not enough.
