Yes, it's different because you don't have to be fully committed to the crowdsale by not paying until after the end of the crowd sale. Then you have 12 hours window to complete the payment and receive quecoin.
Quecoin is a new crypto currency that relies on a new concept of pledge ico / crowd sales to distribute the initial coins to users - instead of traditional mining phases which are not cost effective.
1. Send a private message to the Quecoin account, stating the total amount of BTC you are contributing to the crowd sale - and the name of the contributor.
2. Show proof of capital, include your BTC address - that shows and that covers the amount that will be contributed in the crowd sale.
Rules:
1. The maximum contribution limit for each contributor is 1 BTC. The minimum is 0.1 BTC.
2. All contributors will be given a BTC address to deposit after the end of the crowd sale. All transactions will be completed within 12 hour time-frame.
3. Contributors using escrow will have to cover the fees associated with the transactions.
4. The crowdsale is capped at 100 BTC.
5. This is a closed bid and pledge ICO, don't send any BTC until after the crowd sale has ended. All approved contributors will be notified .
6. The Crowd sale ends 4 AM Saturday, January 10, 2015 (UTC)
