Coder Required: Convert a simple C file into a GPU (CUDA) enabled code
by
QueenB
on 05/09/2013, 15:32:34 UTC
I am trying to evaluate the feasibility of running a simple array search code in the GPU to see the exponential benefits that I have been hearing about. I want this to understand if its worthwhile to explore programming on the GPUs. I dont have much experience in CUDA libraries and would like to get help on this.

The sample code can be downloaded from dropbox

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tctxlkpehls0k1x/TestLoop.cpp

The only requirements is that the code has to make use of CUDA libraries.

For your help I can compensate your reasonably in BTC.

ASIC Blades are $40-50 a GH
Those little Block Erupter USB thingys are $75 a GH

BTC22  each is my offer.

hehe i think most of you already know lah... anyway in my opinion it's obvious from those links below..

what kept sgd high during that period of 2009- late 2012... remember all time high sgd 1.23 against USD sometime in 2010-2012?

If there was actually a simple step-by-step guide on how to do this, it would probably save a lot of time with the same questions reoccurring.

If I look at the Account Balances screen on Cryptsy, it has the following message: "A new feature has been added to deposits. You may now initiate automatic sells on deposited funds at the moment of deposit. Click deposit next to your coin of choice for more information."
But clicking deposit doesn't offer any choice like that. Does it only show up once there is coin in that account?

+1 Thanks...

You are still selling them for pretty much double the new price.  100% markup seems ridiculous since you're just reselling it.

and dont forget the inventory clearance for the blades from CanaryInTheMine member

I'd ask for hashproof before bidding on someone hesitant of escrow.
just redirect mining to your eligius address for 3 minutes..

even with that it just proves that he has some hashing power....what is the guarantee that it will be shipped?

Look at our discussion from pro-miners.net here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=279406.msg2990647#msg2990647)

you can buy avalon for 50 bTC

Note: that is a lot more than the $3900 I'm asking.

You also get more hashing power....

They need only know someone with an Avalon, they could run 1 module, then 2, then 3 to simulate multiple units. Plus, the question is not whether they have at least 1 unit. The question is, if you send them BTC with no escrow, will they send you hardware. After so many questions about the authenticity of the pictures, I wouldn't do business with them unless via a reputable escrow service.

I took a bit of a closer look at this picture.  That unit is one of our development units with short boards inside... I thought that setup looked familiar.

It is a total scam.

Thanks Inaba.....but somehow he has some hashing power on his hands.....he was able to direct almost 80GH/s to a pool I asked him to...not sure how he did it. but did so consistently for 20 mins.

continuing on my saga with the pro-miners. I asked him if he can point his rigs to a pool of my choice for 15 mins...I randomly created an account on BTCGuild and sent him the details.

the 1st rig powered up in a couple of mins, was supposed to be 50 GH/s BFL

here is the screenshot

the 2nd  rig powered up after 10 mins of BFL run time was Avalon 80 GH/s

here is the screenshot

looks like he does has some hashing power on his/her hands....

I thought a black card or hard sheet of some sort occupied the space for the minirig screen?  I saw a minirig pic somewhere where that specifically was described -- that there is no screen on the minirig.

here is the reference link of how the mini rig is currently delivered

Out of curosity, i sent out a couple of emails to prominers. I asked them to show me a proof that they have the units on hand. Just a few minutes ago I received this email from the prominers contact J. Baumgartlinger

one of the images for Avalon is the same one I got, while a additional picture of BFL miner as well. This is very similar to the post of the bitcointalk user allten (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236794.0). I doubt allten is the pro-miner guy.

I checked out their twitter. they have posted the big rig as well

I am not an expert but looks like a photoshop of the miner.

you decide!!! For me it doesnt instill a lot of confidence
