On caixpool you mine for other coins, these are traded at some point for CAIx which then gets paid to your wallet.

Despite the notice on the caixpool homepage, payments are still not going through correctly though (don't worry, your mined coins are safe!) - I'm sure paraflux will have a look into it at some point when he gets chance! (I'll send him a PM)

The coin was 100% premined as it is a PoS coin.. The premine for CAI was not exchanged - not sure where you are getting these accusations from?

I'm in the same boat - I had over 420 CAI before the 18th deadline, all in my wallet, managed to send it to coin-swap on the 19th, but the CAI-CAIx pair had gone. I have not had any kind of confirmation from TheStuhlman that my addresses are on his list for reimbursement either - and I PM'd him almost straight after he made the offer to help out!

You just have to have faith - this is not something he can do overnight - he is using his own time, rigs and electricity. You do not have an automatic right to the CAIx and this offer from TheStuhlman is extremely generous.

@TheStuhlman - It would be good if you could create a post on the caixboard with the addresses that are on your list - That way we could at least verify you got our PMs and that it is in hand. It might help save from posts like drakoin, touchnet and others from filling this thread with negative energy (which ultimately could affect the coins value)

If you had some CAI before the 18th May, then send a PM to TheStuhlman or Caishen_Project with your balance before that time, your CAI wallet address and your CAIx wallet address. He has offered to use his own mining equipment on the multipool to help reimburse those who lost out. This will take time, so do not expect it to be done immediately. This is using his own equipment and electricity (and there is a big list) - so please bear that in mind.

Any CAI mined after the 18th will not be considered.

Please do not spam this thread, you are likely to create more arguments and it will be counterproductive.

I have defended and tried to help people in this position but Touchnet is taking the piss.. I have told him several times what to do yet he keeps spamming this thread!

The issue is not whether or not there was enough time - Time never entered the equation as there were a limited number of CAIx available and mining more than that number of CAI was allowed. This means that SOME PEOPLE were guaranteed to lose out. Good for you that you managed to exchange your coins - for other people it was not possible.

Up to about a week before the switch, I saw expected dates for mining ENDING of the 19th announced. Mining did not end and that date came forward to the 18th! For example this post on the evening of the 8th May:


Not everybody can watch the forums and twitter constantly - I was away with work when this process happened and had no access to my wallet which was secure on my home PC which was powered off. On the 19th when I returned home, it was too late (by just a couple of hours!)

Rather than putting people down who have lost out, how about thinking of other people before yourself and trying to help? TheStuhlman has said he will try to help others by using his own equipment on the mining pool up to the value of the CAI they owned on the 18th. My suggestion to anyone in the position of having missed the exchange is to PM TheStuhlman and hopefully he can still help.

The payments appear to be processed manually - as such it is when the pool ops get around to it.. Don't worry yourself - you will not lose out!

@111magic Ignore TheGer - he is an asshole that is too pigheaded to understand that people have unfairly lost out and feel let down by CAI. He apparently is overjoyed that he contributed to other peoples misery and likes to rub salt in the wound at every opportunity.

As far as your CAI go, there is no way that they can be exchanged now - There was a total of 1.6Mil CAIx available and they have all been taken. Send a PM to TheStuhlman with your CAI and CAIx addresses, as well as your balance before the 18th of this month. He offered earlier in this thread to use his own equipment to mine on the multipool to help earn your balance in CAIx - I don't know if this offer is still open, but is your best chance. You won't get it back straight away, but he may eventually come through.

You're not the only person in this situation - I can only hope it works out OK for us all in the end.

By now there should be a standard response - and a way to help those who have genuinely lost out. Attacking everyone who is coming here for help and advice is the wrong thing to do and doesn't reflect well on either the coin or the community. Judging by the number of complainants, this is an issue that needs to be addressed - and the first stage of that is to accept that things went wrong.

Posting this on the forum won't help. Send a private message to TheStuhlman and ask him nicely. He may add you to his list - I don't know.
