That is correct, yes. Over many roundabout ways we get access to it ... or better we get access to the domain and the email-accounts. And with access to the email-accounts we could set back all passwords for github, bitconitalk, ...! ;-)

It is not like that either.
The original team/dev has left this coin months ago and came not back.
Some of the community (like me) have taken over with the aim of bringing back RACE to old strength.

Why we do that and believe in RACE?
The chain is one of the stable and fastest i ever seen and i had never problems of syncing the chain (no need of addnodes or changing them regular, no constantly necessary resync's, no bootstraps necessary)
The wallet is also stable and without any bugs.
And the coin-supply and rewards are really reasonable.
And all of this topics since more than a year - without only one swap or collateral-change.

So we see absolutely no need of changes at the moment!
We believe, in the near or middle future, coins/chains without permanent changes to collateral, wallets, chain, ... will become more attention.

For my part, i'm getting really tired of constantly having work and spent time to coins/chains which always have problems or take time because of any unnecessary changes.
Many coins have tried to defy the bear-market with some unnecessary changes and steps. I would not know only one who succeeded.
Bitcoin is fallen nearly 90% since ATH and, of course, swept along the altcoins.

The only problem we have from time to time is a lack of miner's, but since a few day's it seems that this is not further a problem.

These topics let me believe, that this coin has a good chance in longterm.
Especially because we have many idea's for the future of RACE, of course, we find both - more time and resources - in the future.
We all have our job's, family and other things which limit us.
And, of course, the more RACE is worth, the more drive will come! ;-)

Absolutely clear ... no one can predict the future ... especially not in this young crypto-market.

Our goal is it, RACE and the chain let run stable and only initiate really necessary changes - i think that is a unique feature we have!

There was nothing wrong with the 1150 signups you mention. Signups were fine but people did not have the signature in their profile at all. This is the reason they have been filtered out. There were only like 10 people that did not provide a correct link to their profile.

It is not necessary.

About 1200 people signed up for the signature campaign. They never put in the signature in their profile.
We have paid everyone that followed the rules. Sure, there were a few mistakes but we have taken care of those and paid.
If people do not sign up with a valid profile URL or do not follow the rules it is not our fault. If you think there is an error, talk to us on the Discord. It's the quickest way to resolve the issues.
