Re: XLM vs XRP - Which Is a Better Purchase For 2018?
by
Raffielo
on 07/01/2018, 14:57:22 UTC
So everyone has been focused on the Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin Cash debate, yet there is another interesting rivalry in the cryptocurrency world that is starting to garner a lot of attention. While most people have heard of Ripple or XRP, many are just finding out about Stellar Lumens or XLM. After finding Ripple and leaving in a very public disagreement with the CEO he hired, Jed McCaleb has now started Stellar Lumens. Fixing some of the problems in Ripple, Stellar Lumens is a totally new code, however many people in the public space think the two are similar since they have the same founding owner. Just wanted to get everybody's insight on this rivalry. Keep it nice.

Both are great, but XLM still has a lower asking price than XRP at the moment, and therefore speculatively there may be more room for profit in a short amount of time than XRP. Also, I read a headline recently, and now wish I had read the full analysis about XLM burning coins daily. This process will increase its value progressively. Also, there are divided beliefs surrounding XRP, as a another reason to go toward XLM instead.

Re: Your best ICO experience
by
Raffielo
on 07/01/2018, 14:42:39 UTC
Hi. I have participated in some ICOs. Some of them were really bad, including lies or half truths, harrasing users that made questions on telegram, changing the terms on the fly... But I would like to know what people think is the right way to conduct an ICO.

Best ICO experiences will deal successfully in many different points; as in was there a profit, were questions answered in a respectful and knowledgable way, were terms and conditions originally outlined in the white paper followed as described in the ICO’s roadmap, were payment transactions seem less and secure, were the participants like minded individuals who added value to the ico or its communicative platform. These many points all add up to the success of any ICO, and rarely if ever does an ICO dot every ‘i’ of these points. With that said, ICO’s do evolve as they progress in funding, therefore timelines are a natural mutable point of any ICO within reason as funding may dictate the speed of the details of an ICO’s progress. CEO’s, Dev’s, Admin’s having the knowledge and respect to communicate with potentially thousands of people per day and this is naturally an exhausting type of role to be in. With that said, a valuable tool to enact is a Q&A section where the public may answer their own questions. This latter point is lacking in the ICO’s of today. Either the Q&A is absent or is understatedly written and not a form of efficient and cohesive communication. When this occurs, frustration develops within these microcosms of communities we call ICO’s.

Re: How many trades do you make daily?
by
Raffielo
on 07/01/2018, 14:33:31 UTC
Thanks for any feedback!

Most people may average a more relaistic trading scenario per week at the poll numbers, as 1-5 per week. Day traders are in a different category of traders compared to novices or recreational traders. As day traders primarily function from a daily onslaught of massive trades. Where recreational traders usually only dive into the market if there’s a strong trend in the public marketplace, media or a new ICO has gained word to invest in.

Hey guys,
I currently have 50.000.000 stronghand coins (shnd)
I would like to sell them so if anyone has a offer let me know!
 Cool Cool

Please tell me a little more about your plans to negotiate pricing for the coins. Are you considering selling all of them or perhaps would you consider selling them in chunks? Also, could you please elaborate as to why you’d like to sell in the first place. . .

Re: Bitcoin 2017: a year in review
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 19:03:24 UTC
I thought this infographic was well done. Here's how much things changed for Bitcoin in just one year, at a glance:

https://dnotesedu.com/2017/12/bitcoin-2017-a-year-in-review/
The trend finally took the reigns in getting bitcoin out to the public in an easy fashion toward investment in ico’s. The boon that is occurring is hugely in part to all of the business opportunities which are on the table sort of speak at the moment. These opportunities won’t last too long at the rate that they are at now. In the future, the only opportunities will be likened to the ones in the normal fiat world where huge corporations and conglomorates gain complete control of every marketplace. This was what happened with fiat when it first became accessible to people in the form of loans and small businesses sprouted. That is now happening with bitcoin. Wait a number of years and watch the same pattern repeat with bitcoin which happened with fiat. It’s exciting now, but when there’s no more room to grow due to complete control by a single entity, then finance will cease to exist.

Re: Bitcoin = $1 Million by 2020
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 18:58:59 UTC
John McAfee Bullish on Bitcoin Price Reaching $1 Million by 2020.
He wrote in Twitter: "When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong."

Can yo believe this? What are your own predictions?

The price hikes of bitcoin will depend on how many trillions of dollars are poured in from CBOE and CME within their investment funded portfolios. If the public decides to get on board, which may take longer than expected due to the volatility of the marketplace, then bitcoin could possibly increase towards 100k per share down the road. For bitcoin to his a million dollars per share would need most of the world to be confirmed as vested into the currency.

Re: ♨♨♨ Bitcoin Fees Are Outrageous ♨♨♨
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 18:56:08 UTC
90% of all bitcoin owners have less than 0.1 BTC each

the fees to transfer $100 worth of BTC cost around $25. that is outrageous
Which exchanges are you referencing for such high fees? For example, some exchanges depending on the country, have been given a green light to operate and therefore their fees are barely noticeable. Others, as I’ve heard charge upwards of 25%, which seems strange because sooner or later there will also be a taxation charge on the amount taken out. In a way these high fees are liking to a double taxation.

Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 18:53:56 UTC
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
Bitcoin operates on one separate blockchain which other altcoins utilize as well. There are other blockchains such as the ETH one which has erc20 tokens that many altcoins utilize. Also, there’s the waves competitor as well. Bitcoin has its own ecological environment though so do its competitors.

Hey guys. Finally decided to get me some coins. I have about 10k to spare. any recommendations?
You could possibly spread out an investment into a workable portfolio of ico’s. Perhaps, diversify the portfolio by how conservative or assertive you’d like your investments to be. This will help you decide if you’d like to strategize for the long term or for the short term as well. Then there is the consideration of industry type as well as if your interest lays in trading; long or short, day trading; daily, staking or lending. You could possibly try a number of different strategies. Yet, I can pm you additional information if you’re interested.

Re: HOLDING Bitcoin:- BOON or BANE
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 18:48:23 UTC
Hello bitcointalk community I happened to come across a very interesting article which states that bitcoin may pump upto $60k and crash after that.
The theory stated in the article has a great chance of becoming the truth.
Do have a look at this article and let me know what do you think about the near future of BTC.

The price of bitcoin in the high thousands is a possibility if Wall Street and mass adoption of business industries goes through. As a result, trillions of dollars would in this case pour into the bitcoin market and a boon would suffice nearing possibly beyond 60k and perhaps as high as 100k. Also, on the other hand, if other blockchains were to be created which utilize software updates as Tezos envisioned, then bitcoin would have a robust competitor which could make it eventually go bust.

Re: Is Bitcoin really secure?
by
Raffielo
on 11/12/2017, 18:45:39 UTC
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

The blockchain is a complex conception and its security varies. Overall, in terms of a stable place to conduct business, yes the blockchain which bitcoin is on is secure. Though, bitcoin as a currency can be hacked and has been hacked in the past as news accounts have documented. Also, bitcoin as a currency can be lost and/or frozen within the blockchain as transactions needed concurrent addresses and sometimes amounts to be verified as  complete. This latter portion, at times, doesn’t have any security and therefore, billions of dollars have been frozen and/or lost already within the blockchain.

Re: Bittrex is scum: here is how
by

on 10/12/2017, 17:41:39 UTC
Bittrex has been verifying my account for a very long time. I wait 2 months, the support service does not react.
I’ve heard this from other users of their site as well. They told me that they sent a message two months ago without any word from them and that they’ll follow up again shortly. It seems many if not most exchanges are lite on the customer service employee side, as they haven’t hired more than one person to handle all of the communication. Either that or they’re wary of their own space within the crypto industry as things seem to be changing, slowly, but still changing as of late.

Re: BUY / SELL IOTA (MIOTA)
by
Raffielo
on 09/12/2017, 05:54:45 UTC
If you have money to live on in the next couple of years then I would advise you to leave this asset as in the future it could greatly increase the price
Iota was blasted in the news so much prior to it’s Microsoft partnership that it makes one wonder if this announcement of the partnership is going to take a lot longer than anyone could speculate. The price yo-yo’ed a bit and is hovering well now, but today I heard and agree with your comment that investors might be in for a longer haul on this one than expected. Unsure as to the reasons behind the delay, I can only imagine that Microsoft corporation will have to ensure proper steps are taken legally prior to acting out anything concrete with iota...

Re: How to buy Tether USD?
by

on 09/12/2017, 05:50:32 UTC
market place exchanger is support tether USD is two market place
poloniex dot com and bitfinex dot com, you can buy USD in there and withdraw money can use USD tether
Are these the only exchanges which are exclusive to buying tether? Also, does tether differ from usd in any way or is it just a renaming of usd within the crypto space? I’ve recently heard news headlines that tether isn’t worth the true one dollar worth, is this something that can be weighed internally some how?

Re: Looking to buy LARGE BLOCKS OF RIPPLE - Have PayPal
by
Raffielo
on 09/12/2017, 05:46:52 UTC
I am looking to purchase large blocks of Ripple. I have PayPal.
There’s a new exchange which will team up with paypal and open for their investors first on dec 14 then the public in January. If you want to buy altcoins though paypal i suggest you try Next.Exchange, though unsure if they will list XRP out the gate or not, you may want to do a bit of research to see. Either way, I think when paypal shows up it has the potential of bringing an array of new clientele into the crypto currency trading paradigm. If you need any help, please let me know.

Re: ETHconnect - Staking start in few hours - Lending in few days !
by
Raffielo
on 09/12/2017, 05:44:11 UTC
It's still time to get in while it's hot and new. This kind of website gives you the best return if you get in quick ( early ).

Have a look at a simple website i've made then jump in the boat with other investors !
https://www.ethconnectfr.com/
There’s so much hoop-la behind this ETHconnect that I’m unsure if it’s trustworthy yet. Their website has been up and down for the past several weeks and even after registering, they’ve never followed up. From the rumor I heard, one of their employees disclosed discretely that their business model had been attacked by one of three of their competitors. It’s possible, since this lending crypto field is very lucrative yet could be very risky as well. Will need to come back to this thread in a couple of weeks and read any follow ups that people have with their experience thus far.

Since you have a talent and skill that you’d prosper from, there’s a new ico which highlights such talent and helps you gain work through being listed as a working graphic designer. Have you heard of the Craigslist of crypto yet, it’s coming out now called blocklancer. It’s basically a place where people get work in case you’re looking to be compensated as a graphic designer. If you need help, please let me know, since I studied the same industry yet don’t use it to be compensated personally.

Re: Transaction with MyEtherWallet is Pending
by
Raffielo
on 09/12/2017, 05:36:48 UTC
Why is This Week so difficult to a transaction with MyEtherWallet?
1. Is it caused bitcoin is rocketed;
2. too many phishing; or
3. cost the gas price too high
The Etherium blockchain is congested due to extensive high traffic from a kittycat game. This new game is the latest trend where the public is willing to jump on the bandwagon to either be a part of it as an observer, else actually make a purchase and buy a cat. The game is taking too much space up and has tested the limit of the Etherium blockchain so much so, that it might be the tail end of its popularity. This could happen because now people are aware of the limits and eventually a new blockchain will be formulated to streamline these limitations. Some have stated the kitty game was deliberately created to do just that — to showcase how inefficient the etherium blockchain really is. Could be the end of its time.
