Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens?
by
Ragnartron
on 15/02/2019, 09:37:34 UTC
Volume is one of the indicators that tell you how much is used and there is some value in that for sure.
But we have fake volumes too today and  OTC trading that you can't see, so volume could be deceiving sometimes in that matter.

I just hold them. There is no reason to sell them cheap.
I think that most of the guys do the same.

Before investing in coin, always. It is a must if you want to invest seriously.
It takes time but at least you can read about your future investments.

One key thing here is a good research and maybe some luck too.
Holding is a very good thing, but holding wrong coins is not.
So do your homework and track the development of the coins in your possession.

I have done a good job on Etherdelta so far, maybe I am a nostalgic little bit when it comes to Etherdelta. I wonder how Idex is working.
Forkdelta looking same like Etheredelta, but is faster.

Coincheck announced that they will compensate hack victims. That amount is not enough, but I guess it better than nothing.

User security is much needed on exchanges. I hope that we could see some insurances soon.

Re: Google Will Remove Crypto-related Ads Starting June 2018
by

We will survive this. This was expected. They just don't want to have blood on their hands where people are being scammed.
Regulations will clear this up. And real ads won't have a problem.

Re: Countries with No Bitcoin Taxes
by
Ragnartron
on 21/03/2018, 14:48:44 UTC
I can pull out large cash money from the dealer and not pay taxes on Bitcoin, but that amount will show up somewhere as my assets eventually and I will pay tax only there, which is not bad. But I think they will regulate this in next two years. They love taxes.

It's 50-50 on this one or neutral if you like. They are waiting for more growth or downfall hehe Smiley
I would like to see it regulated faster. We can see some movements in that direction so I'm not worried.

Re: will all the countries make cryptocurrency legal?
by
Ragnartron
on 21/03/2018, 14:12:06 UTC
Just go with the flow is my advice to you. You should not be scared, they can't punish millions of people for doing crypto if it was illegal. But it is not illegal so no worries there. If some country pronounces it illegal just switch to another country after a while. You are missing the chance of earning money and learning about new technology at the same time.
As the matter of fact, it will be a new payment (financial) system in our near future.

Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income
by

You don't need to pay tax if you are dealing with small amounts. If you cash out and spend it on your daily cost or buying clothes, phones, TV's etc. you are fine. But if you buy something more valuable like cars, houses and such your government will ask you where did you get it. In that case, paying taxes would be advisable. There are some tools that US government or others can use to track crypto transactions and connect them to you exchange profiles, which are verified with documents that you provided them when you registered.

Samsung recognize cryptocurrency is enough alone to be called a big positive news.
They will profit too from chip production as their main target.

Re: No need to pay tax if you buy using bitcoin in Germany
by
Ragnartron
on 01/03/2018, 22:06:10 UTC
So if we use only crypto they can tax us only when we finally do the exit crypto transaction to us (cash out with crypto, not fiat). If I pay for the car or apples they just simply add the tax on those items and that's it. But there would be no tax on my yearly income. They can't trace my net worth.

Re: What if bitcoin wasn't created?
by
Ragnartron
on 01/03/2018, 21:50:40 UTC
Someone would invent some other blockchain. Like when people invented a car. If that guy didn't invented that year someone would by now. Without crypto I would be doomed, because I don't like stocks and it would take me the whole lifetime to earn some serious money.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stole those 500 millions of dollars in crypto recently.
They are skilled and dangerous in their own way. Well organized too.
