It looks to me like they are basing the exchange value on the moving BTC-USD price and the current BTC to ZRC exchange rate. I just looked quick and it gave me a price of $1000=4548 ZRC. Roughly speaking $1000= 4.66 BTC atm so with a price of 1 BTC=1010 ZRC (pulled from their website) which gave me 4700 ZRC =4.66 BTC. I dont know where they pull the market rates but seems to be moving based on changing prices.
If the DEV really has the money he says he does. I love it, you people think that investing in some coins ICO means an instant 500% profit. Look back on other coins!!! The DEV says they have $600,000 already, but they want me to invest .1 BTC. I'm sorry, it just doesn't smell right.
It seems like they want anyone and everyone to buy some which may be good or bad, but just because someone raises 600k you want them to not want more purchases even if they are only .1 BTC transactions? Why limit purchases to a large amount if you're just trying to raise money?

What does the address matter? Either you believe in them or you don't in my opinion.
Surely, as more merchants accept Bitcoin, more bitcoin gets sold for $$ driving the price down. The lower the price, the more people will panic and sell their BTC or trade it for goods, thus reinforcing the cycle.
I am getting to the point now where I am so tempted to sell my own BTC. I don't normally waver on things like this, I believed Bitcoin had a bright future, but my belief is shaken now.
I can't see anything in the near future that will increase the demand side of the equation....
Wouldn't more merchants accepting bitcoins give them more value as they (bitcoins) are then given more utility? To the majority of people if you can spend bitcoins at say a walmart, target, etc. they would be much more willing to buy them because of their benefits over USD.

I personally never associated Bitcoin's benefits with anonymity, but rather the technology as a better payment option in terms of its process and use cases.

Thanks for making this list! I don't really think it will matter in the end who originated the idea, but its still fun to guess

Re: Can you create a Bitcoin address manually?

You can... but doing some complicated elliptic curve math and then manually hashing the address with two different hashing algorithms sounds like a lot less fun than having a computer generated one
