Is there an OTC market for big trades?
I'm pretty sure Bitfinex offers OTC service, look it up in their website. Otherwise get into the DEX on Slack, it is basically a semi-automated escrow service run by the escrow Yassin, there are buy and sell orders but you can still arrange for OTC trades with escrow.

Whats up with this Coinomat stuff repeatedly being talked about in this thread? I wasnt around by then, my understanding with the limited info i gathered is that Sasha had an ICO for a project some time ago, than he just abandon that project for waves and made those coins/tokens useless, is this correct? If it is, its quiet worrying since i am heavily invested in waves. Than he could just repeat that process and make waves useless :/?
It is a great worry to WAVES, my understanding from looking into Coinomat is Saha had many different assets on NXT, he announced during WAVES ico that these asset holders could either swap these assets to WAVES during the ico period, OR, keep the old assets to receive dividends from Coinomat and swap when WAVES platform launched. Those who did not swap during ico have now been abandoned, sasha never mentions them, they miss out on WCT airdrop, and did not get anymore dividends from Coinomat or CryptoCard projects ever again. They basically got ripped off, and sasha gets away with it. That is the wild west of crypto in 2017.
But how is this a "great" worry to WAVES?
Well I was hoping to get Waves cheaper so hopefully we get more "great" worries.
If the leader of WAVES project is shown to be capable of such blatant acts of dishonesty and/or incompetence in his past Coinomat projects then your investment in WAVES is under threat of the same outcome. That's a great worry to me, there's no regulator here in crypto land to protect you from bad actors like sasha.

No, if old Coinomat asset holders want to see their money again they're going to have to fight for it, it's obvious Sasha doesn't care about Coinomat investors now, otherwise he would have re-opened swaps with adequate compensation for lost WCT and dividends months ago when WAVES platform launched, as he promised he would do when he gave Coinomat investors that assurance.
He told me personally that the benefit of not swapping was coinomat dividends would continue, and as the the number of assets would be smaller after the first swap round, the % return to those who waited for the second round would be higher , well guess what, NO DIVIDENDS WERE EVER PAID AGAIN!!

This Coinomat issue is very troubling, I look into the history and seems clear cut, sasha neglects these old investors, and they have missed out on dividends and WCT.

The Coinomat and other NXT asset holders will get a chance to swap, I don't doubt that.
What I fear is lost dividends and WCT, and what swap rate will they get ... if sasha rips people off with a crappy swap rate and doesn't compensate for lost WCT & dividends then he'll get a FUD outbreak from NXT veterans and BTT hero/legend users the likes have never been seen before. Jl777 is a massive coinomat holder, imagine him going full metal jacket on sasha if the swap rate and compensation is less than fair.
The longer this goes on, the larger the compensation, or else sasha gets a PR turd from HELL
I don't think sasha is an idiot, just grew too big too fast, so he neglects old investors. Hopefully he clears this coinomat issue up asap, it does damage WAVES having disgruntled investors complaining.

Im a Noobie to BitcoinTalk (and sort of for cryptos in general) so apologies if am not commenting in the correct way (by clicking on "QUOTE" of most recent).
Just wanted to say that I am really excited for this project...
I got into CRYPTOS quite late (mid 2016) and haven't looked back. I started with a 100% allocation to BTC but have been diversifying into various alts along the way (attempting to increase my BTC holding). This project seems different, its a definite HODLER for me.
I have done the most research on this project than I have to date so far on any other. I'm balls-deep to say the least. That is how much faith I have in the team! Great story behind the project.
It's probably (definitely) a bad idea to have my asset allocation this way, but fuck, YOLO hey!
I risked my nuts on the dodgy ass looking heat exchange and I was punching the sky when I transferred my XEL holding into my elastic wallet ,which would be chicken feed size compared to most of the whales frolicking in this thread lol...
This is purely a feel good post to all the hardworking devs and people that believed in the project before I even knew about it. RESPECT!

Wow, this coin is very old, are there any plans to capitalize on the longevity and do anything with tech like add masternodes, or use distro snapshot for a Byteball or IOTA clone? Lots of goodwill to work with behind this coin.

I have my Clearwallet passphrase but not the private key. Can I use the phrase on any other wallet? Yes, we do live and learn. 
I saved only the Clearwallet password too, really hope there is a tool to extract priv keys, too many via coins to lose.

There are many ways to contribute and one of the most important is by being a developer. We are looking for more devs and while I cannot promise that an active and productive dev will win a notary spot, I can say that they have a very good chance of being elected.

Anyone can be a candidate. The KMD coin holders just have to vote you in. If you receive enough votes you will become a notary node operator.

Who ever gets enough votes will get the special key that allows them to run a Notary Node.
There is some deadline for the newly elected notary nodes to setup their system. If that deadline is not met then another in line will be elected. I don't know what that DL is - undecided.

As some of you may know, I donated 20,000 Boolberry to zoidberg for development during the last major growth cycle but the donations didn't end up going towards development. After 6 months of waiting and some research I've decided to take a more hands-on approach to reviving this project in a direction that will benefit everyone in the shortest period of time.
I've managed to secure a senior level C++ developer to contribute to the project full-time. Our first major milestone will be merging the Bytecoin codebase with Boolberry's to bring it up to date with the advancements made over the years. In my view, the combination of Boolberry's unique features like its hashing algorithm, blockchain bloat reduction and privacy improvements along with Bytecoin 2.0's vast array of performance, usability and stability improvements will position Boolberry as the most advanced and efficient Cyptonote project.
In addition to the code merge, Clintar2 is working on his LMDB integration which is now in a working state. His LMDB work will eventually replace our RocksDB implementation when the update goes live.
I've had cordial exchanges with both crypto_zoidberg and clintar2; neither of whom have shown any reserves about this proposal. I'm funding this project by myself so I would appreciate any donations from the community as everyone here will be benefitting from the overall growth of the project.
