After looking at the Manifesto:

Why is the rake for HU games so high? It is far higher then on the non-bitcoin poker sites.
Will there be higher limits then 500nl?

It also seems that the projections of player acquisition are very unrealistic. What are the parameters used to make this graph?
Is there a Beta client/images of what the site will look like available anywhere?

Importing Digital backup wallet on an offline computer
by
RarsMover11

I just got an extra laptop to use for offline storage.
After installing armory I'm trying to import one of my other offline wallets.

I only have (easy) access to the digital backup of that offline wallet and when I try to 'Import digital backup or watch-only wallet' I select the .wallet file and after that nothing happens. Is it not possible to import digital backups in offline wallets?

(I'm running 0.92.3 or armory).

Thanks!

Edit: Just tested to see if I could import the singlesheet backup and that does work. But still doesn't help me because for this offline wallet I only have access to the digital backup.

I'm not sure if jeroenn13 actually had the buymastercoin.com domain.
But he was the owner of koopmastercoin.nl (which was the dutch version running the same scam as the buymastercoin one.)

Have proof in pm's but it's not in english. Although it seems like everybody already knows he's lying about it all anyway.
But yeah he definitely was involved with scamming in the same way as buymastercoin was.

And people claiming it's not a scam are obviously either involved with it or don't understand it.

As a holder of MSC it's pretty disappointing to see what has happened this year with MSC.
Honestly it's surprising to me that JR is bragging/posting about his buying/spending habits after his initial sell crashed the price of which it never really recovered. The only recovery was with the maidsafe-debacle. And I don't think you can really call that a recovery.

At this point I feel sorry for the people who have invested in this project and lost a lot of money, but also for the people who are now trying to save it which seems unlikely at this point.
They are now passed by other coins who don't have the many problems that MSC still has at this point.

I think many investors feel that they are in the same boat. We can sell now at 5-10% (or some at 2% that bought at buymasterscam.com) at the price we bought these coins or go for a hail-mary. And I hope that most investors didn't put more then they could lose into it!

I'm interested in investing but I don't want to do the burn myself.

Someone mentioned that maxmint or others are offering a burn service?
Is this true and is he reputable?

Thanks

I have used maxmint both for MSC escrow and also for Xcp burn escrow.

If I burn BTC using blockchain.com, how can I send the XCP from the blockchain to another address?

You can only burn from using blockchain.info. To send you need to do this with your counterparty client

I'm confused, I thought the address that burned the coins would get the XCP, so if I burn through the blockchain, how can I transfers those coins?
Or would I need to import the private keys for the blockchain address into the counterparty client to send them?

First, run Armory without managing bitcoind. Then start BitcoinQt and let it sync. Then start Armory with the -rebuild argument and see if it crashes.

I tried this but it still crashes the instant it tries to rebuild the database.

So I deleted the databaes directory. After that it works again.
Thanks for the help.

Armory Crashes (only online version) (fixed)

I've had some problems with my computer and decided to rollback my system to a point where it still worked.
After I did that I had to download the entire blockchain again and got the following message:

http://i.imgur.com/OUbxoyA.png

After removing some wallets (it's backed up), I got bitcoinQT working normally again.
However, the armory crashes when I run it in online mode.

If I run the armory in offline mode there is no issue at all.

Not really sure what to do here. (already tried reinstalling both bitcoinQT and the Armory).

Any advice?

Hmmm it would be unfortunate if you would have to pay to get test-mastercoins since they should have no value (they're used for testing after all).

From what I've read in dacoinminster's posts that's how he saw them as well.

Is there anyway to get test-mastercoins?
Maybe one of the original investors that has no interest in using them is willing to send them? :-)

If you have a secure BTC wallet it will also be secure for your MSC.
At this point there is no MSC wallet yet, they are simply in your BTC wallet.

As long as you have the private keys to your wallet you can have your mastercoins in there as well.
You shouldn't pay extra for information that is free to find.

If you have questions about Mastercoin you should ask them in this thread:
