Possible value of Bitcoin 10 years from now.
by

on 26/07/2025, 06:11:56 UTC
I’ve been hearing a lot of different opinions, and I’m really curious, What could Bitcoin be worth 10 years from now?
Is it still a good idea to invest in Bitcoin for the long term?
I'm just trying to understand if it’s something worth holding onto over time. Any advice, or beginner tips would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance!

Re: How do people gain profit when crypto is dropping?

The best advice I could to share to anyone who's experiencing the same situation on you is to buy or invest cryptocurrency what you can afford to lose to avoid anxiety or worse depression.Always remember that health matters most. The cryptocurrency is volatile its value is changing from time to time, having cryptos on your wallet is like gambling you can't predict whether you lose or gain profit.

Re: Bitcoin payments in an online store

This is a good idea to use Bitcoin as payments in online store purchase but if we consider the businessman mindset that linking Bitcoin into your business is too risky because  Bitcoin is volatile the value is changing from time to time. Fiat system is still the best in terms of online payments transaction because it has fixed value.

I am still learning the basics of Bitcoin, so I don’t know a lot yet, but I am really interested in understanding more about profitable Bitcoin mining equipment.
I’ve heard that mining can be a serious investment and that the right equipment makes a big difference. Could anyone share to me , what kind of hardware or mining setup is actually worth looking into for mining Bitcoin today?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions! I am here to learn.

Re: Is a University Degree Still Worth Anything?

It depends on the country you live in. There are still many countries where education is the number one priority, based on the belief that it can lead to a brighter future.

I believe that overpopulation, the rise of AI, and rapid technological advancement are major factors contributing to the increase in unemployment. As technology continues to evolve, many traditional jobs are being replaced by machines and automated systems. At the same time, overpopulation leads to a growing workforce, creating more competition for the limited number of available jobs. These combined factors make it increasingly difficult for many people to find stable employment.

I'm thinking about setting up a small Bitcoin mining at home, mainly to learn and maybe earn a little BTC over time. I’m not expecting to get rich. I just want to see if it’s even worth trying in 2025. Any tips on setups? Appreciate any help or advice you could share. Thanks!

Re: Looking for Friends
by

I'm a developer and crypto believer. I have been spending time on the Bitcointalk forum lately, and I want to make some good friends here.

All of my close circle friends consider crypto as scams, and I cannot convince them at all. They all bought some meme coins and lost, or have heard stories of people getting wrecked on NFT coins, so they blame Bitcoin for all the scams. When I argue, "Why don't you buy Bitcoin?" they say it's not profitable. When I counter back with, "If you had bought $6k BTC last year, it would now be around $10k instead you chose some meme coin that online gurus talk about, and now you blame Bitcoin," they still don’t listen. Nowadays, I’ve started to lose friends over these arguments, and I'm not good online Instagram or Discord either.
I feel you. I’m kind of new here. I’ve been into Bitcoin for a while, but it’s been hard because most of my friends think it’s a scam. They lost money on meme coins and now blame Bitcoin, even though BTC has been way more stable and reliable. Just looking to connect with people who actually understand what Bitcoin is really about.

Re: Bitcoin Beginner YouTube Educational Content

Hello Bitcointalk community,

I’m new here. I wanted to share a new YouTube channel that a friend of mine recently launched. The channel focuses on delivering high-quality educational content, with engaging Bitcoin videos that cover a range of topics. I’ve found the content to be informative and thoughtfully presented, and I believe many of you might find it valuable as well.  I’m leaving educational comment too!

You can check out the channel here: https://youtu.be/Q8ezdrT0N00
Hi! I'm also new here. I checked out the channel and the content is really well-made, great visuals and easy to understand explanations.  It was really interesting and easy to follow, even for someone like me who is still learning. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more videos like this!

Do You Think Bitcoin Will Still Be the Dominant Crypto in 10 Years?
by
Rashid-X
on 12/07/2025, 06:32:35 UTC
Hi all,

I'm still fairly new here (just my fifth day), but I’ve been diving deep into the history and fundamentals of Bitcoin. I understand it was the first and is still the most trusted and decentralized, but with all the rapid developments in blockchain tech, I wonder:

Will Bitcoin still be on top in 10 years?
Other projects are pushing boundaries in scalability, smart contracts, and interoperability.

Is Bitcoin's simplicity and security enough to keep it ahead, or do you think another crypto might take over in daily utility or adoption?

I'd love to hear thoughts from both long-time holders and tech-savvy users.

Is Bitcoin really better than gold for long-term savings?
by
Rashid-X
on 11/07/2025, 03:50:11 UTC
I keep hearing people call Bitcoin “digital gold.”
But gold has been around for thousands of years, and Bitcoin is only ~16 years old.

Do you think Bitcoin can really replace gold as a store of value — or should they just complement each other?

I’m curious what older members here think!

Re: What’s the safest crypto wallet for beginners?
by
Rashid-X
on 10/07/2025, 12:09:50 UTC
Hey, I’m just getting into crypto and want to store some Bitcoin safely. Can someone recommend a good beginner-friendly wallet?
Wallet is not going to make anything safer if you don't protect your keys or seed words first.
When you understand this than you can move to choosing some good open source wallets.
Electrum wallet is a good start for software wallet, but you can later move to hardware wallets like Trezor or Satochip that are not so expensive.
Thanks for the insight — that makes a lot of sense. I'm just starting to explore wallets, so it's helpful to hear that securing the keys and seed phrase comes first. Electrum sounds like a solid starting point. I’m also curious about hardware wallets like Trezor and Satochip — what would you say are the main differences between those two, especially in terms of usability and security for someone new?
