i loved the zencash brand.. now, not so much. maybe because of their initial statement that they support asic resistance and not keeping it strait on that road.

Ex zoin team, was good coin till it was POW, transition to POS becouse it "has better network security" is a serious sign of weakness and uncertainty. If you got a good product and a good coin it will be mined and secured by many, if you dont want to take a high risk stay far away.

OK I am impressed. I have been a fan of Zen for a while now, but this upcoming transformation is really mind boggling, I have to say. Is there any infos of the time all this transformation will need?

I thought it would help everyone understand the reasoning behind the change. The initial estimate was end of May and now it is beginning of July so it is not too big a slip.The hard fork need to be after the deprecation of the current version as it affects full wallets, nodes, pools and exchanges.
devmanThis fork will implement block reward changes 10% 10% 10% 70% as you can see on first picture.
Full implementation of this application system with Super Nodes is expected to be launched in Q4 of 2018 with a prototype available for testing at the end of Q3.

XMR did the right thing and I just dont understand why ZEN wont do the same thing.
The thing is moving to asic resistance is possible but it would require huge amount of resources(modfiing zen,modifing securenodes,modifing pools) modifing nearly everyting related to zen. It is possible but it will push Supernodes and other zen projects behind by years.
Nekako sumnjam da otopljeni kabel moe biti opravdan razlog za reklamaciju. Radi se o tome da si (pretpostavljam) spojio uređaj koji je "povukao" preveliku struju preko jednog kabla pa se on zagrijao zbog čega se otopila izolacija. Moja preporuka je da proba pronaći i kupiti zamjenski kabel.
Bila su spojena 2 v3 molex rejzera na orginalni kabel. Problem je u tome to otopljeni dio plastike zablokirao put i izolirao uzemljenje tako da ni jedan kabel nemoe doći do kraja modularnog konektora a nemogu rastaviti i očistiti to zato to ima naljepnicu od garancije na arafu.
Radi se o antekovom napajanju od 1300w, garancija je 5 godina, međutim rastopio se orginalni kabel koji je napajao rajzere na modularnom priključku napajanja. Odgovor od reklamacija glasi "fizičko otećenje uređaja u smislu rastopljenih konektora koje je nastalo kao posljedica ne pridravanja uputa od strane proizvođaća. Fizička otećenja nisu pokrivena jamstvom te zamjena unutar jamstva nije moguća. to bi trebalo dalje poduzeti ako je moguće neto poduzeti oko tog problema(nebi iao na bilo kakva nova investicijska rijeenja).

GPUs calculating at full Mhz, temperature is as usual, but not shares of course.

Thats a feture not a bug, when you got all cards on high-end overclock you dont want them to stop or miner will crash, also you want max hash rate when it reconnects with isp.

While all this FUD with child porn on bitcoins blockchain happening now, I want to ask a question. Will ZenPub have some protection from such content? Cause, unfortunately, there are many freaks in this world, how can we protect our Zen network from them?
That's a really good question! We've been having some discussion about how to handle ZenPub. On one hand, we're doing it for censorship resistance; on the other, we don't want creeps to use our infrastructure for harmful purpose like child porn. It's a tough balancing act we're seriously considering, but glad this conversation is starting...
It's extremely hard to do. If you break censorship resistance you undermine the value proposition of a decentralized wealth storage and cash system tremendously. I don't know how this will work out in the end even for Bitcoin.
Who ever thinks internet itself is a safe place should go offline right now and never come back. The main reason government could ban zencash in the future is because of its anonymous/untraceable transaction feature.

Wow guys, stay away from this one, Samuel (admin) of Cryply banned me today for asking for an eta on when the announcement of news regarding to Cryply would be happening.
Samuel banned me from the Cryply discord channel, because i asked for more information about the project. He said an announcement was coming soon and so i responded with "ETA on the announcement? I'm currently mining this and would like to know why I should keep mining it. Right now it seems like the devs are trying to keep us in the dark so they can mine more for themselves" At this point he banned me from the server.
Super immature Samuel... If another dev is reading this, I think you need to reprimand Samuel. I've been a big supporter of Cryply for the last two weeks and this is how you treat your supporters?
Absolutely terrible if the admins do not reverse this.
I'll update this if I get an update from the team. I'm hoping that it's just one bad apple (Samuel) and the rest of the team is sensible.
Funny that the slogan is "A true crypocurrency and payment system for FREE people" yet, I am not free to ask questions about the project, or it results in getting banned. Be careful with this project guys.

You haven't seen anything yet. I predict ZEN will drop to atleast low teens in coming days/weeks. Not happy that ZEN never performed that well. Too late to dump nodes at this point, will have to wait it out. Sucks because I am missing out on other investments with my money and even when market turns around price will really just go back to where it was.

When Bitcoin stabilizes, market will rebound. Just don't get caught in panic, stay calm is best you can do.It is pathetic that a coin unique as Zencash is still dependent on bitcoin price, but the best advice to give is to buy all you can at current low price.

As far as I know this is easily the most profitable CPU coin right now.
(XMG magi) is the moust profitable CPU coin atm, but be carefule becouse official wallet gives virus warnings. Thats whay i sold all and stoped using it.

Price will go up and down, lot of people want to take a profit. They will be wrong in the future and will regret this for life.
Dont know about that. There are a lot cpu ONLY coins atm(VRM,ZOIN,XMG,ROI,BBP,ZNY,,,etc.) nobody can predict witch one will emerge victorious at end.
