I'm aware that I've been quiet on btctalk and I do not want to keep people in the dark.
While developmental hurdles have been challenging, not to add any sob stories but I must say it was hard to handle my mother had falling to COVID and it was the roughest period of my life and I needed time to sort myself out.
After taking time for myself, I've come to realize that she wouldn't want me to waste away and I've been able to find my past motivation in general. COVID sucks an unfathomable amount and it's not fair, but life goes on.
Anyways, I'm happy to have finally started working with my partner on this project and helping it come to fruition.

Hi everyone, just posting a quick update on the status of our project.
We've had some successful tests regarding our nodes and have seen promising things.
Ray is still our top goal, and we've been motivated as our currency utilizes a DAG-lattice style topology and would fare well regarding the current focus on Eco-friendly cryptocurrencies.
We know that our currency involving private transactions and smart contracts would be able to be at the top of current cryptocurrencies, and are getting closer to our release and working as hard as we can.
We appreciate the members that have responded here, and I can answer any questions regarding development and our future release.

I am new to the market but didn't notice anyone seeking donations. What is the purpose of it?
The purpose of accepting donations is to fund our development as we're currently working on the project part-time, as well as having funds to use for marketing once we're launched. We'd love to make this our full time project, although donations are certainly not necessary.

Update: Hi everyone, we've been working hard on Ray and are proud to announce that we've recently completed simulations and some stress tests on our network and they've proved to be very successful!
We're very happy with this and are looking forward to having a private testnet released in the future for further testing.
Other then that, we are focused on making sure our currency and platform is secure before it is launched and there has not been any major problems. We are hoping to reach our April release date and are very excited to having the most useful platform yet!

When you are going to list in exchange?
This is still incredibly early although our goal is to be on exchanges soon after we are released, which is in sometime in April of this year!

In which exchange you prefer to be added on? You should think about this.
At least Admin should think about Uniswap. That will be great if RAY added on Uniswap.
We think uniswap would be a great way to allow ease of trading of our currency and definitely plan on it being the first place that it will be available once fully released after our donation phase!

How RAY do ensures of security in its system?
We are having RAY professionally reviewed to assess any potential vulnerabilities, as well as our main focus being on that our private transactions cannot be reverse engineered and such. As for that it's looking well so far, and this is our top priority by far.

Hi there, we're currently keeping our identities private as it would conflict with our current company, we plan to be public once we're able to have RAY be our full time project.

Yes, that's our current total currency. We feel that this is an appropriate amount, as to not have it too rare and such.

I liked the fact that transaction fees are free for all. Today in the market we faced this problem very often particularly when it comes to bitcoin.
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! We're very happy that we're able to be fee-less as bitcoin and other currencies have gotten out of hand with this problem.

Hi there! This is our current platform for the project, although we plan on releasing our own site eventually.
As for pre-sale, it's currently open! Any donations, though certainly not required, are greatly appreciated and will be appropriately given Ray when the nodes are open!

Is RAY Fee-less?
Yes RAY is going to be fee-less, as well as have private transactions.
Will balances be viewable?
No, account balances will be private similar to Monero
What makes this different from Monero?
This is planned to expand on what Monero provides by allowing data to be transferred within smart contracts similar to how Etheruem has many use cases outside of a currency transaction.
We hope to truly change the standard for Crypto capabilities.

How long is this sale 50 USD - 3000 RAY ? 100 USD - 6000 RAY
The rate is the same and the donations will be open until we've reached our funding cap or until our nodes are live. If there are non-reserved Ray, the excess will simply be burned.

How would data transfer be possible if there aren't fees? I'm trying to understand this on a technical perspective
The data-transfer is possible due to the individual ledgers being updated and verifying tx data through the independent distributed ledgers which each account has that is linked.
Essentially, this is doable as the data that is required to be synchronized and the data that is updated with each transaction is efficient and does not burden the nodes.

Hi yam1231, our distribution method is to have the RAY sent to an address of your choosing once our platform is fully launched! This is intended for early contributors to help development and take an early stake in RAY.
