Anyone else having issues with Stripe? It just gives me an error message when attempting to make a payment... Which of the alternative payment methods have lower fees?

Better use Paypal since it doesn't have as much issues.  btw, is it possible to lose Karma on Reddit?

You lose karma if you get negative feedback or downvotes (I think).

Just recently purchased their 50 upvote package with Bitcoin and I got confirmation within 15minutes.

How did you contact them? Do they use Telegram?

What payment methods do you accept? I've got some BTC and Eth sitting in my wallet. Do you accept crypto? How does it work?

I purchased upvotes earlier today and saw 3 payment methods including crypto. Didn't try it though since I picked Paypal.

Re: Who's next to go to the Moon?

There are many projects worth our time and effort in research. I have followed quite a few and found eloncity, menlo one, and wepower as projects that are worth looking into. They might not make it to the moon, but as long as the team and project are legit, I have no problem investing some of my capital in them.

Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS?
by

Contrary to this post, I believe that this is the year good projects will thrive in their ICOs. This is because a decentralized ICO marketplace called Menlo One is launching this year. Through menlo, we won't have to rely on biased reviews from icorating or icobench let alone false hype from paid well known experts aka "actors"

Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling?
by

I think it always depends on the team behind the project, if the team is competitive enough they'll be able to shoot back the price of their token or go even higher. Currently, I'm now interested about the menlo.one project because their platform would atleast try to create an ICO marketplace free of fraud and scam project, which I think would be good for investors.

I've heard about Menlo One and its CEO, Matt Nolan since they are frequently mentioned here, but I'm still in the process of doing some research to make sure I make the right choice... I hope I see some experts' reviews about this project...

Re: Why should I consider to invest more in a ICO?
by
Rayner77
on 25/06/2018, 12:39:05 UTC
ICOs are high risk-high reward investments depending on a lot of factors involving the project, team, as well as supporters. Sadly, some investors have either quit investing in ICOs or wait for a better investment system to avoid the of losses or from getting scammed.

In relation to that, I've been eyeing a project called MenloOne that's going to be a decentralized ICO marketplace wherein its CEO mentioned about having solved the various issues most investors fear in ICOs. Has anyone heard of this project and team? Do they have a good track record?

Re: avoiding ICO scam and frauds
by

I think proper research about the ICO project can save us from fraudulent ICO, no need to be greedy single -ve point means to get away from the ICO. Most important parts of research are project team and project product or service after the successful ICO.

ICOs are high risk:high reward investments because it can go either way which entirely depends on the developers' integrity; some of which have already proven to have none. It's a waste that new ICO investors just sit on the sidelines waiting for change while legitimate projects end up not getting the funds they deserve.

I'm anticipating a project called MenloOne that's soon to be an ICO markeplace, where its developers mentioned that it will help stop fraud with their unique, decentralized platform. There have been no other similar projects launched before and I'm hoping that this is the change some of us have been waiting for.

I wish menlo.one will also include all the airdropped coins. LOL  I love their website, they have it all. It is like a linkedin for all the ICO projects out there. Excited to see them launch

I like how we are only required to submit a valid photo ID once (if I understood correctly). Also, I am more confident in leaving my personal data with Menlo rather than every ICO requiring KYC.

Re: Best country for crypto
by

I think Japan is the top choice since it has completely legalize the acceptance of Bitcoin. I still hope that other first world countries will start to accept crypto payments to keep Fiat payment gateway fees low. For example: Paypal could charge about $4 per transaction, crypto payment gateways like Paybear.io practically charges nothing for payments. That would be a lot of savings for consumers.

Re: What does the future of bitcoin look like??
by

I think that Bitcoin will not stay as #1 forever.. It's currently at the top now in terms of market cap since it's the first go-to coin for crypto newbies.. Once more and more people learn about other coins with better features, they will leave Bitcoin for what they believe.

This could be under the investigation of cyber crime division, BUT does your government recognizes Cryptocurrency in your country in order to make legal actions regarding this case?
This could be a perfect example of a good feature for cryptocurrency to be regulated by the government. PROTECTION.

That's why I always say that cryptocoins being regulated is not a bad thing at all. It protects users from a lot of bad things. Sure, the govt takes a portion of your money, but it's worth it.

Even seasoned traders commit mistakes in every other trade. You actually need to experience being wrong in order to grow in this industry. One other thing you need to watch is the amount of money you risk for trading.

You are free to support any alt coin you think has the best features and devs. Although alt coins are competition for Bitcoin, that's exactly what's pushing for growth and further advancement.

For newcomers like me, it's hard to get merit.
I'm happy to hear the merit system works as intended.
Maybe you can refer to some of the bounty threads. Each week's post has the word count and quantity requirements.. You can get a certain number of Merit if you meet the conditions.
Merit is about quality, not quantity. Please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.

No matter how good your post is, getting it merited is still based on chance. Also, if you have a friend here or someone selling merit, it doesn't take a high quality post to get one.. get it?

Re: altcoins are dying
by

Most of this altcoins are not created to stand the test of time, only to make the developers reach and once they hit their target, they don't care what happens to the coin.
That is the problem that exists today.

not all devs are what you described... The trend for the entire crypto market is generally bearish including Bitcoin due to news about regulation attempts done by big countries such as Russia. I think this will really impact Bitcoin in the short-mid term since I'm sure that news of other countries doing the same will follow.

Re: What is your best investment strategy?
by
Rayner77
on 10/02/2018, 06:04:26 UTC
Investing requires more discipline than a strategy. Since its timeframe is longer than the usual short trade, you need to stick with your planned time-frame no matter how high price has gotten or how low, as long as it doesn't cross your buy level.
