Can you create a blockchain torrent, so that syncing doesn't take forever from a fresh install?

hey one more thing... if you know.. Black is not listed on cryptsy & bittrex any reason why ? on purpose ? In my view it does not really matter (exchanges that is) all short term traders, but maybe people simply did not vote for these

There are usually some guys in the IRC channel who could assist you with it, as some debugging output might be helpful i think the best would be "live help".

So, you say not everyone with this wallet has this problem? OK, thanks for the hint - I'm not in a hurry, I will either wait for some more answers here or go to the link you provided, thanks again!
I experienced those problems with both a Pentium D 3GHz and an Atom D330 1,6GHz system. Both were only running with 1 GB of ram, and both did not have this issue when fitted with 2GB of RAM, but in fairness I have switched a lot between Windows7 and Linux Distro's on those machines so I do not know if that extra GB fixed it.

Solid development takes time and the Blackcoin community understands that. This announcement again proves the strong will behind Blackcoin to succeed, despite the loudmouth idiots that can only type "dead coin" or "scam".
Does anyone have a list of the current, non-splintered threads for BlackCoin in BCT right now? It's hard to tell which one is the most current, tho it seems to be this one? There's a lot of selling after such a long idle drift downward but not much discussion about it. Cryptorush BC theft being liquidated maybe? Just spitballing here.
This thread is the most active at the moment other alternatives are either reddit.com/r/blackcoin or blkfeed.com.
It seems that there were some arguments between some large BC holders that went on to mess with the price.

Blackcoin is an established coin. It will not die that easily, it isn't certain that it eventually reaches much bigger adoption. It is still striving for that, but people should try to understand it is easy to get somewhat established the push beyond that is much much harder. Use the coin for purchases or trading and wait for the bigger developments like BlackBox, Nighttrader and Blackwave Labs. These projects can't be rushed and they can't magically appear in a few weeks or months.

On the 10th September, Genesis Mining lowered their prices and now have extended their contracts to lifetime.
If you had a contract with Genesis Mining before the change then your contract will change to lifetime when your current one ends.

Um, so what will effectively happen when my 1 year contract expires? I keep my Hashpower and only have to pay a daily fee?
Basically your one year contract changes to a lifetime and at that point you then have to pay the lifetime contract termos of a daily fees of 8 cents per 1 MH/s for scrypt or 1 cent per 5 GH/s
If it ends up being that your daily payment is less than the amount they take from you, then your contract ends as you would get nothing each day or even run into a negative.
As you are still on the old contract, then at the moment you don't pay those fees, not until the change over.
Hope that explains a little bit.

Yes, I keep my hashpower even though I purchased a one year contract. If the daily payment is more than the daily fee, I keep my hashing power(which is awesome).
So, if it is not enough to pay the daily fee, is it then ended or only "paused" till it meets the fee(if ever)?
Genesis should mail its clients/place a faq or something as this info is nowhere to be found.

So, yes Gritt attending Huobi and giving presentations about BlackCoin Blackhalo and Bithalo plus al the other developments that are currently entering their final stages is what has sparked interest in BlackCoin. Not really natural, we will soon find out what price BlackCoins settles on.

Oh, there is an official twitter account for BLKBox https://twitter.com/BLKBoxOfficial ,they still don't want to give details though. But given BlackCoins history it will probably be something good.
