why no australian shipping?

We ship worldwide so perhaps there is a bug in our website. I'll look into it, and in the meantime I can fulfill your order through the BitcoinTalk forum with coinpayments of paypal.

Very cool. What size coin are those cases made for? How well does a standard 39mm round fit?

Our coins are 39.8 +/- 0.3mm and they fit perfectly. 39mm should also be a great fit Wink

Got my holo coins collector pack in the mail today!  I will try to get a few pics up for you in the next day or so but I wanted to comment here when I got them!

I think these are great coins for me to start out with.  I'm very happy with my purchase.  Ordering was super easy and everything arrived just fine!

I also got one of the out of stock ripple coins, it was a pleasant surprise for me because that coin is not listed with the holo coins collector I bought.  Up thread they had mentioned there was something extra in the package for me as I thought the shipping fee was slightly high.  The something extra was the ripple coin and I am quite happy to be taken care of, thanks Real Crypto.

Really nice coins, quick easy ordering and delivery, no complaints from me!

Edit:  Here's the pictures!

Thanks for the kind words. We are doing our best to make sure you guys are happy with us. We are still working hard on going through quality control so you have final numbers on coins. It's extremely important to us that the coins you receive are very high quality so you get your bits worth.

Though the XRP coins read out of stock, I was pleasantly surprised to find them included in the collector packages despite not being pictured in them.  All in all pretty nice tokens for a couple bits.

Forgot to mention. You need to tape all seams (small box flat rate usps) when you ship, I was lucky none of my coins slipped out of the blown out sidewall.  Easily preventable.

Thanks for the advice. We'll make sure the package is taped better. We're glad nothing was lost. Glad you like the coins!

All of our coin displays are finished. They are absolutely beautiful. We shipped them out to everyone who pre-ordered them. Hopefully we will have better pictures up in the next few days.

We are still QA/QC'ing all of the coins and will do our best to have the final numbers up in a week or so. All the coins that don't pass inspection will be permanently destroyed so there is no chance of them entering circulation.

It would be helpful under each listing if you stated clearly maximum number to be made of each coin.

Thanks for the feedback. We have all our coins made but we are still going through quality control checks. The ones that don't pass are taken out of circulation so we don't know how many are made until the quality checks are finished. We do understand your concern.

Thanks for the feedback and support. We are a small family owned business. Any sale that comes in helps us stay in business.

Yes please post pictures for everyone to see.

We are still optimizing our shipping rates to be the most affordable possible. The rate we had for your country was slightly high and has been changed today. We added something in there for you so you'll come out ahead.

We are working on video tutorials so anyone can safely make a cold storage coin. Currently our tutorials are in text form on the site.

Thanks again!

Happy to support a crypto business, it was just a little order I know but I'm just getting my feet wet in collectible and coin world (so much for me to learn and so exciting LOL).

Got my tracking number today, thanks!  Really looking forward to getting them!  You really didn't need to add anything I was happy with my purchase (I do appreciate it though!).

I am glad you had a look at the shipping rates and adjusted it a bit!  A high rate like that would have definitely affected my decision on future purchases, so thanks (I'd like to be a repeat customer!), I'm glad the comments were helpful!

I will post pics as soon as I get them!

Thanks Flying Hellfish.

www.realcrypto.org

We are really excited to announce that we just launched our website last week, and we can't wait to show you guys at BitcoinTalk what we have been working on.

Who We Are:

We are a community driven project whose priority is to raise the public’s awareness to cryptocurrencies. Crypto is an amazing technology that has the possibility to change the world for the better, and we want to be a part of this change. As a collection of artists, we hope to contribute to the crypto revolution by making unique artwork and allowing people to use various cryptocurrencies.

What we do:

We make limited edition artwork inspired by cryptography and technology that puts a digital currency into our physical hands. We were inspired by a lot of amazing people who came before us like Mike Caldwell of Casascius Coins.

We're bringing cold storage coins to many of your favorite alts, where you have FULL control of your wallet keys. We never get a peek at any of your wallet information because we give you the tools to make your own. You can do this DIY style with your own printer at home and load your digital currency onto physical coins.

We work closely with several projects to design their official coins, and we have been lucky enough to make the official MonetaryUnit coin among others. Not only do we make coins, but we are also working on videos to show people safe ways of storing their crypto offline.

Current Products Offered:

-Limited Edition Crypto Coins that act as cold storage wallets

-Limited Edition Acrylic Coin Displays with Illuminated Bases (Shipping now!)

The Future:

We are working hard on educational content and some really unique products to help crypto become more tangible and easy to use. And of course, we're going to bring you lots of new coins!

If this interests you, send us a message to say hello or check out our website and support us by getting some coins!

Codebase is open source and vetted by crypto community members
Isn't just recycled code with nothing new
Uses proof of work
No Premine
No Super Block
Have a good use case and is feasible to achieve

That's the point. They are only showing their ideas and giving them to the community for verification. If even one person finds something wrong with the code, everyone will know about it. There will be articles on top of articles about how the devs are careless and proposing bugged changes. It's just not going to work and the devs know it. That's why everything they propose undergoes verification and is not going to be malicious.
I'm fine with them trying to improve the system and appreciate their work.

I completely agree with you.

Re: Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are the newest critics of Bitcoin. (From CNBC News)
by

Berkshire Hathaway is smart in the fact they only take trades they fully understand. They historically stay away from tech companies. A good example is how they passed on Amazon in the early days. They also are such a massive investor they can't invest in small market caps without affecting the price in the short term. Everyone's strategy is different and bitcoin is not at a place where Berkshire wants to invest so they say it's rat poison.

That doesn't mean it's a bad investment for us. Why would the taxi company invest in Uber or say good things about it? It challenges the current system and only takes money away from their precious stock market.

Keep calm and buy bitcoin.

Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late?

Look at the big picture and compare bitcoins marketcap to other asset classes. Without even looking at the fundamentals we can clearly see the price is undervalued in the LONG term. Who knows what the short term (1-3 years) will hold. Never be fully in or out of a trade. Stay fluid and always have capital on the sidelines to take advantage of dips. With that being said, stay diversified and you'll be ok. Don't let your emotions get to you. The best way to prevent that is by not trading leverage and don't invest money you can't afford to lose.

Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker

We recommend hardware wallets like ledgers and trezors. Since all coins can't be stored on those, look into making paper wallets. Use walletgenerator.net.

Here are the steps:

Download the GitHub file to a brand new USB
Use raspberry pi with new linux os (no wifi or bluetooth capability)
Generate your keys
Print the keys with a wired printer
Send crypto to the deposit address

If you want it even more secure, put your private keys behind an individually serialized tamper resistant sticker. We sell coins that help with all of this if you want to learn more.

https://realcrypto.org/product/bitcoin-holographic-coin/

If you don't want to use a raspberry pi, you can use your computer offline. Just be sure to clear your printers memory and fully delete the files from your computer when you're finished and before you reconnect to the internet. It's not as safe as above but still a better practice than what the majority of people use.

Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency
by
RealCrypto.org

We agree with the sentiment here. Once the price stabilizes people will be more apt to spend it. Right now the incentive is to hold it because the price is always rising. That's one of the reasons the US FED likes to maintain a 2% inflation rate to encourage spending which promotes economies. Too bad the USD is just a useless shitcoin with a massive premine.jk

In all seriousness, there isn't the incentive to spend bitcoin besides it's cheap transaction fees. This will change in the future like all the other past problems of bitcoin. The beauty of bitcoin is it just code that can be evolved to meet the needs of it's users through a democratic POW system. That right there gives us confidence in the future of bitcoin as a world currency or means of transferring value from one person to another.

Re: Pay with Crypto - what's the best solution
by

Another thing you can do is support companies that accept crypto payments. If a company doesn't, tell them about crypto and how you would like to pay in it. It won't do anything at first but if everyone continues to ask their favorite companies to take it, they will start to take notice and look into it. It's our job to be good crypto ambassadors to help build the movement.

The longer you stay in this space the easier it is to spot [Suspicious link removed]panies that are only looking to take advantage of you.

Some things to look for:

Codebase is open source and vetted by crypto community members
Isn't just recycled code with nothing new
Uses proof of work
No Premine
No Super Block
Have a good use case and is feasible to achieve

Most scammers don't put in that much time to their scam coin. They look for the easy money aka (recycled code, great buzzwords, etc.) Most scammers aren't dedicated to writing original code for months just to scam the crypto community. Blockchain devs are the most highly sought after employees in the world right now. Why write original code to scam people when you can get paid 150k plus salary working for another company? I'm not saying that doesn't happen but it helps with filtering companies out.
