[ANN] Mulierum | POW | GhostRider
by
Redcard
on 12/05/2025, 16:06:04 UTC

Mulierum is our first major blockchain project. It is basically a fork of Raptoreum, which was a fork from Dash, which was a fork from Bitcoin.

Why did we chose this fork ? Because of it’s mining algorithm first of all due to it’s capabilities to reject ASIC which are very known to consume a lot of power.

Our team believes that POW is more fair way of coin distribution.
But you can stake your coins just by making an internal transactions within your wallet.

Note: You don't need to send your coins to someone else wallet.

Thanks to staking with SmartNodes mechanism, you contribute to the security and decentralisation of the Blockchain network.
The higher the percentage of staked assets in the network, the more difficult it is to attack it.

In case you need help in deploying SmartNodes We have detailed document on our
website.

Our team believes SmartNodes is better than POS as all transactions are verified by
miner yet you can stake your coins without locking them.

The idea is simple: a coin that helps people earning assets while mining and staking using the Mulierum features.

Each Mined block offers 5000 Mulierums, from this

75% goes to the miner
20% goes to the smartnodes
5% goes to the developers to maintain the network.

The Mulierum blockchain has already integrated private wallets where the balance can be hidden directly from the wallet.
The smartnodes are accessible directly from the wallet as well.

CPU Friendly

GhostRider algorithm is both CPU/GPU Minable but CPU's are more efficient for mining Mulierum.

Smartnodes

Smartnodes are used to handle smart contracts, and provide 51% \ double spend protection. In addition this allows:

- Larger allowed contract size.
- Greater variety of programming languages can be used.
- Removes the scaling issues and large increase in gas tx fees.

Driver for mixed gpu rig
by
Redcard
on 26/05/2017, 21:49:58 UTC
Hi guys. The setup is following:

On the 1st rig are running 470/480 gpu using 16.11.5 driver, all bioses are modded and working without any problem.
On the 2nd is still only one 570 driven by 17.4.4 which is patched in order to accept modified bios.

The issue is I can't install all cards in only one rig and consequently the consumed power is more.

17.4.4 doesn't recognize the 4xx cards. And the vise versa is valid i.e. 16.11 or 16.12 are not suitable for 570 (the display driver is missing when you run the setup.exe).

Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

Re: 1080Ti or Multi RX - which is better ROI
by

for now 1080ti can roin in two months, i don't know the amd situation but it's not better than nvidia, nvidia is very good at skein and sia, but amd can dual mine sia with ETH, i still think nvidia is better, the 1080ti will hold a good value for gamers, they like strong gpu

1080ti can do the roi in 2 months?? If was like this it has to mine for $400+ per month Smiley

In this case I think its better to use the warranty. Would be incorrect on your side to sell card which is not working on the buyer's mobo.

You can flash it at your own risk or leave it as it is. I'm not responsible for the consequences.

Then you can try to flash the card using bios from techpowerup database. Open it with bios editor and check the values. If the size is 256kb open it with atiwinflash then save.

Hi Red when i open bios of techpowerup database(256kb) i reiceve this message : https://image.ibb.co/hYBiQk/bios256.png

what can i do?

Load it in atiwinflash then save and check if the size is changed to 512. Better don't flash with this 256kb only.

How did you make the backup? And what is its size in kb?

Hello people, how can I fix this error by wolf-xmr-miner-v0.4 :"Error parsing version string from clGetDeviceInfo. This should never happen." ?

I use 1150 platform with win10 pro & crimson 16.11.5. When start the miner in the 1155 - no problem. But with 1150 system I always get the above error.  If i disable the internal gpu the error is "Error -1 when calling clGetDeviceIDs for number of devices."

use msi afterburn. i've been able to lower the 290x to 125 watts average as per gpu-z. In my case i'm more worried on the fan noise so this voltage lowering brought the temp to the mid 60s and the fan to 60%, this while maintaining the sols at 337 to 347

What you see on gpuz is not the total power consumption of the card. 125w for the gpu only is possible but with the rest of power components on the pcb the real consumption is much more(about 200w). Check with wattmeter if you don't believe.

I got this same error.
It was because when I C&P the address into the batch file it removed the space between the address and -p x

Just check those two addr:
4GdoN7NCTi8a5gZug7PrwZNKjvHFmKeV11L6pNJPgj5QNEHsN6eeX3DaAQFwZ1ufD4LYCZKArktt113 W7QjWvQ7CWFNeDcndLq3GwnXRLM

The longer is from Kraken and the 2nd is from mymonero.com. The space could be a problem as you said but in my case I think the address is strange.

While using this miner I noticed the fan speed of the main card(rx 470) suddenly jumped to 100%! WTF??
I'd say its a driver bug. however I have it only in sgminer. I use mostly 16.9.2 and never seen it on claymore, but on sgminer I get it all the time on all the rigs I tested

EDIT: some weird combination of XMR algo code and drivers

In addition to this problem is I'm not able to fix the crazy fan at normal speed unless I reset the system.
And after one amd driver crash and and reboot the driver has changed from 16.10.3 to 16.6.. but this is another issue.

same here, only the reboot solves this crazy run... it shows over 5000RPM on refs.

Have you tried to set fan rpm max limit with wattool or wattman before it rise to 100% rpm?

I tried today the Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 for first time and I get the following error:
