What is the info on the fork? Why is it so damn hard to find any official information? Is it out there?
Some things I wonder.
1 What do I need to do to participate in the fork? Just hold my Zclassic in my desktop wallet?
2 Do I need to update my wallet to some certain version? (I have the old 0.0.5 version of the wallet). If I need to update? Do I need to make a backup?
A backup is always good. If you are on Windows, open Windows Explorer , enter %appdata%\zclassic as path to go to your Zclassic folder, and make a backup of your wallet.dat
3. There is no official date yet, but it is expected around end of January 2018, you can find more info on the official reddit board here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin_Private/

I don't want to lose Bitcoin Private but Wallet does not work and don't know about Bittrex.
My wallet works fine: https://5hd.de/etc/zcl_wallet.png Make sure you are using the latest release from yesterday and follow the installation instructions.
There is no statement about Bittrex support yet.

Yes, if you have entered your myether wallet address into your ins profile. INS Tokens balance can already be viewed with myetherwallet, but the INS Tokens will be sent out on January 8, 2018, so your current INS balance is 0.
Is it necessary to log in and fill the KYC form? Because I forgot to log in my website account before completing the KYC form couple of seconds ago
As far as I know, it is only possible to fill out the KYC form when you are logged in. If you are unsure, I would suggest to request support in the INS Telegram Channel, Admins are very active there and answer within minutes.

No, I don't think so. BTCP is going to be absolutely nothing, I'm amazed people aren't thinking about it. Now we have one headache, ZCL only, but soon we'll have two headaches, ZCL and BTCP. BTCP won't be even added to any exchange, I don't see any plans of it. This drama is going to be ended soon and bad, and dev will be offline forever.
The dev probably wanted to cashout his last left-overs of ZCL at a good rate, and started this drama.
Exactly. This is seriously nothing more than a pump and dump scheme... If people didn't do their research ahead of time to know that BTCZ exists and is already doing everything Bitcoin Private aims to do, shame on them. I'm not trying to promote their coin as I hold none. I was a larger holder of ZCL but after being treated like sh*t yesterday from the supposed DEV team, I dumped at the top and watched lots of people lose. Thanks for the profits though!

He wanted to sell some domains to them, but they had no interest (because they already have enough). Then he got mad and annoyed the devs until they banned him. You can see the chat screenshots in the previous page....

I've been mining for a day now and I haven't gotten the ZLC wallet to work. Downloaded the GUI wallet from their website and the wallet didn't sync, I did however manage to get an address and started mining to that adress. I tested a bunch of versions now trying to get it to sync. I just have one question really. I didn't make a .tar backup file of the wallet that I got the address from. Does that mean I won't be able to access the wallet whatsoever? I have the ZClassic folder that is stored in the %appdata% folder.
Help appreciated!
Are you on Windows or Linux? The new Windows wallet (https://github.com/z-classic/zclassic/releases) that has been released today works fine for me. The wallet db file should be in the Zclassic folder, so there is hope.

It's understandable. But don't you think that if they're serious about this project they would have secured the domains and such beforehand..? I'm betting they have no intentions on doing anything other than forking (if you're lucky) and that's it. When you lose your shorts, don't come to me asking for a new pair. The Rhett guy can't concentrate on 1 project and has a habit of running junk coin operations.
The devs here couldn't even post to a working block explorer. I had to list one. The wallets don't work for sh*t. Get real, these guys aren't reviving anything but your hard earned money right into their deadbeat pockets. Good luck.
One domain usually is enough. I worked on some web projects in the past, and most of the time you stick to one primary domain, and if you have more you just redirect them to the primary domain, because you want people to remember your domain name and not confuse them.
What is the problem with the wallets? Today I downloaded a Windows Zclassic wallet and it is working fine for me. As I understand, there is no Bitcoin Private wallet yet. Or am I wrong here? I do not know much about block explorers. And I do not know much about this project, maybe it is bad, maybe not... I do not want to defeny anybody here, I just do not think that the amount of domain names is a good measurement for it.

I'm out of this project. BUYER BEWARE!!! These developers are running nothing but a pump and dump scheme. One of the developers is a complete jerk and with that type of attitude this project won't last. This is NOT the first Bitcoin/zk-SNARKs coin. Please reference BTCZ. This project has already been done folks...
It's true I did try to sell the domain names bitcoinprivate.net and .info. I was told that I'm holding the sites for ransom. How is capitalism considered ransom? I saw an opportunity to buy the domains as .com and .org were taken. I offered to sell the sites and was treated like sh*t by one of the devs. I'm not new to the community as my account would suggest. I've been in crypto for over 3 years and have been active with many coins. Trade with caution on this because a lot of people are going to get burnt. Many may call me a FUDer or whatever and that's fine...

What is the problem there? They just said that they already have three domains and have no interest in buying more (your) domains.
You kept on with trying to sell your domains regardless and even accused them of being scamers, only because they have no interest in buying your domains. They stayed friendly, until the last moment.
