Re: How to trick a gambler.....

Of course they want us to keep on coming back, that where their business profits. They will do it over and over again and create a marketing team that would send those emails away everyday just so they can give a hint to a gambler to play again. It doesn't matter what promotion it is, that simple message will make a gambler think to try his luck and it would probably just end up losing his money after he gamble.

It's volatile if you are making short-term trades. But yes, those who believes that the value of one thing will grow in the future means they are not believing about the volatility at all. But it will take a lot of patience and I believe those who waited up until now are very brave to keep their hands tied and not pressing the sell button.

When it comes to predictions, it's an individual thing in my opinion. You can make one but don't assume it can come true. Still, there are coins out there which was believed to have a great future and yet they are like leaves plucked one by one out of the market.

Re: Gambling Wins, Losses, and lessons learned

I think that a normal thing that happens to most gamblers. Getting greedy after the win because you have the money to spend. Although it is a mistake to do it, it can be correct if we do hit another win. Unless we keep on going and loses it all even though we are satisfied with the amount we won.
I had some wild stories but I don't really want to remember them. Many of them are too stressful to tell again and it's better if they are forgotten.

Re: New account and old account, which one is luckier?
by
Reid

New account wins more. Trusted and tested. Cheesy I have played a very long time in one gambling site and all I see is defeat. While every time I create a new account in a different gambling site, it gives big multipliers that are sometimes too surprising to receive. It's a trap and they made the system behave like that to encourage more gamblers to play more and put in their mind that winning is possible.

I think it's done there more frequently because that's one of the entertainment they can have while waiting for their sentence to end. I bet the longer they do their time the more they gamble and it will probably ease their boredom of a repeated day in prison.
I only saw in documentaries about what resources they use to gamble. Most of the time it's the vices too which they do not get there anymore unless someone will smuggle it.

We should never be spending more time in gambling. That unproductive and it will just fill our hearts with stress. It will be better if we can keep it as an entertainment thing in our life. Something to boost our energy when we watch a game or just something to make us relax and not be stressed about the amount of losses.
It's just gambling, it should never be the thing that will control us but the other way around.

Re: man up and stop blaming casinos
by
Reid

Good comparison.
We are old enough to gamble which means we are old enough to make our own choices. Those who blames the online casino for having a bad day in gambling are those who doesn't really understand how gambling works. It's a business, we should not forget about that and what they want is to make money, not to give them easily.
It's better if we understand those facts so that we won't be expecting too much when we are playing. Expect losses, that's better.

Re: The other side of risk
by
Reid
on 24/06/2025, 08:47:14 UTC
It differs with different games. In slots, the risk is way too high and you rely on what the developer written to come out next so everything is actually there and we cannot change it. We just wait for what will come next.
In sports gambling it is different too. We can actually try to analyze the game and maybe it will help lower the risk that we are taking by using the knowledge about the sport.
I have not tried other games like blackjack or roulette but I bet they have the same system as slots except the live games.

No, I won't go that way. There's always the "What if?" it loses question and I am afraid to see the results of it because I used money that isn't mine. It will be better to just forget about those loan sharks even with your good results in sports betting. Just save money and do it yourself, there's no need to put more risk when you are already playing a risky game.

Re: Becoming a sports fan due to gambling
by
Reid
on 14/06/2025, 07:54:13 UTC
It does not make sense, in my opinion. The love for the game/sport comes first before the gambling comes. Those who will learn the sport because they want to gamble might see bad things happening in the future. But it's not impossible. There are those who are really good at analyzing the game so I bet there will be gamblers who will still make money out of sports betting.

Re: I’m rich… because gambling is my entertainment.
by
Reid
on 20/05/2025, 11:09:34 UTC
I hope that's the real case. There are those who gamble because they are felling lucky and so they put their money on gambling even though that's the last money that they have. They are rich, they are just desperate to double their money and they think it can be done quickly by gambling it. It's the sad side of human nature, we want everything quick even though there are other options to make more money. But I do understand that it can be due to being poor that someone wants to go rich as fast as they can.

Re: Double when you win, or double when you lose?
by
Reid
on 22/04/2025, 09:02:14 UTC
No doubling at all. Win or lose. That's what I do. I don't really mind just playing on the same amount at every roll or even in sports betting because I don't want to have that greedy habit that could also ruin me in the long run. I think I am satisfied adding some spice on the sports games by adding a bet on it.

Let's not waste too much money in gambling. If we win, let's withdraw and enjoy it. If we lose then stop for a moment and think about whether we should deposit more or we can take the day off and just call it a day.

Here are the results of last night's matches. (today for other timeline)

How about Bukayo Saka scoring for Arsenal after a long recovery from an injury? Truly a beautiful moment for him and his team.

Saka goal a 'beautiful moment' but injury worries for Arsenal

Quote
In the same game as key player Bukayo Saka scored on his long-awaited return from injury, the Arsenal manager lost another in centre-back Gabriel before their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid next week.

Quote
"Immediately after scoring a goal, what does he do? He goes and says thank you for all the hard work that all the sports science guys, physios and everybody involved in the recovery have done for him to be able to be in the condition that he is.

"I think he lifted the stadium, the energy and great to have him back."
Respect.

I hope that defensive problem will be fixed. Someone will need to step up their game on the defensive end and fill the hole of those injured players.

Trump Tells Digital Asset Summit Attendees US Will ‘Dominate Crypto’
https://www.pymnts.com/cryptocurrency/2025/trump-tells-digital-asset-summit-attendees-us-will-dominate-crypto/

Quote
“Together, we will make America the undisputed bitcoin superpower and the crypto capital of the world,” Trump said.
It's nice to hear that but it's also scary. I don't want any country dominating Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It's meant to be used worldwide and should not be controlled/manipulated by a single entity, a group, or a nation. I know he only said "dominate" but it does mean a lot of things.

Quote
“With the right legal framework, institutions large and small will be liberated to invest, innovate and take part in one of the most exciting technological revolutions in modern history,” Trump said.

It sounds nice too and this is truly a good idea. Many people today have already opened their eyes and are now investing in cryptocurrencies. I just wish they buy more Bitcoin than buying memecoins. They should be aware about the risk they are taking and yet they still buy the fishy ones.

Musk did not like the ad?

He deleted the ad?

What the fuck is wrong with the musky trumpeter.

They could build rockets and give the altered genders the moon or mars or somethMusk.

I thought it was funny and really good.

I think it was the Solana management themselves who deleted their own ad after receiving a lot of bad comments from different people. A lot of them said it was insensitive and considering the rules that Trump said about male and female, many are still emotional about it. It's true, it could've been funny in the right time.

How crypto futures could gain popularity, SEC approval: Execs
https://blockworks.co/news/execs-das-crypto-futures-etfs

Quote
“But it’s still very interesting to see, because as we saw with bitcoin and ethereum, if you get a futures product, you’re pretty likely to get a spot product at some point in the future,” he added.

The occasion of CME solana futures going live Monday was viewed as a possible pre-requisite for proposed spot SOL ETFs to get a green light.

Kyle DaCruz, VanEck’s Director of Digital Assets Product, noted CME futures were indeed a way for the Gary Gensler-led SEC to check the “regulated market of significant size” box. But there are paths — beyond futures — to demonstrate that markets are not manipulated, he argued, such as crypto exchanges sharing data with the regulator.
That's a good point. Get a futures then maybe you can also get a spot someday. Considering that futures are easily approved, they may want to do it now and let time tell when the spot will be approved too after application.

Back to the Solana controversial advertisement issue. Here's something new.
‘I am ashamed’ — Solana CEO breaks silence over controversial ad backl
https://cointelegraph.com/news/solana-labs-ceo-breaks-silence-controversial-ad

Quote
“The ad was bad, and it’s still gnawing at my soul,” Yakovenko said in a March 19 X post after receiving immense backlash over the controversial ad.
It's good that he admitted that it was bad and this might help get back some of Solana investors.
Quote
Yakovenko said he will use the learning experience to ensure Solana stays focused on open-source software development and decentralization while staying “out of cultural wars.”
It's simple. Just advertise your project but don't go overboard on using the issues today to make fun or to pin someone about their social style and gender. There's already a mess around it because of what the President said and what his take on this matter. Many are hurt so it's not a good idea to use this just to put your project in the trend. It isn't cool.

March Madness! One of my favorite leagues that I love watching during this period. I don't know though how I missed this great promotion from Sportsbet.io.

https://x.com/Sportsbetio/status/1902358925225422973

I am such an idiot for always not checking my X account and the promotion page of Sportsbet. But it's not late so might as well Opt-in while it's still available. Don't forget that.

Quote
March Madness is here, and every game is a chance to win! Pick your team, place an outright bet before March 21, and every time they take the W, you’ll cash in with a 5 USDT free bet on basketball and 5 USDT in cash on Marble Racing! Only your first outright bet counts, so choose wisely.

There could be important details on this Digital Assets Summit.

President Trump speaks at Digital Assets Summit

Who knows. Bitcoin might be discussed by him and maybe other details about the capital gains tax. There are a lot of rumors that he will eliminate the capital gains tax on cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin and he will probably talk about it here. Let's watch it.

Solana deletes ‘cringe’ ad criticized for being ‘tone deaf’ on gender issues
Quote
Solana’s X account has deleted an ad after it copped wide backlash for seemingly making light of gender identity issues.

Quote
“They rolled it back because it hurt their business, not because they thought it was wrong,” Cinneamhain Ventures partner Adam Cochran wrote to X on March 18.
Yeah, that's why they deleted it.

They did it at the wrong time. If Trump did not deny the executive order of Joe Biden about preventing gender/sexual orientation discrimation then it could've been fine. Many people will probably just ignore it or maybe laugh but as for now it is in the wrong time because it's a very sensitive issue especially for USA. Some investors may have pulled out their Solana because of this. Who knows, people could easily decide what they want out of anger.
