I know this would be part of a price speculation thread, but I believe its a logical assumption that the launch on an exchange price will be at least that which is listed on Coinmarketcap.com at the time of launch. We all know that the Yobit price is not official, but psychologically, this has to have an effect on what expectation people will be valuing it at.
I'd be surprised to see the price launch cheaper than that listed on Coinmarketcap.com
Just about every other major ICO (including ETH which had an IOU as well) sees a decline in price at the time but most don't ever decline below ICO prices. Then after those who collect immediately, the price levels off and begins to rise over time. Some try to sell some or all immediately for a short term gain but over time we all know that the coin is going up. How far nobody knows. You can probably sell out for $1 or just over on launch day or chill and drink some wine for a few weeks and sell out at $4 or $5 or ride it for several months and get more. So many decisions I'd be surprised to see the price launch cheaper than that listed on Coinmarketcap.com
But the one thing that is most likely is that the price will drop a bit below IOU prices initially. Newbies will panic and sell which may cause it to go down more than it needs to.
So the trick is to sell before the newbies do and buy back more after they did.
i think it would be wise to expect big dumps and thats the only reason why i am selling and praying i can get back in for lower.

I guess its strategically better to wait until waves ico is over...

if would mainnet started on April 11, WAVES would not have collected so much BTC. That's fault Lisk developers.
They would have collected even more, because a lot of people would have dumped their lisk in order to spend.
Most investors are so ridiculous. Just jumping around. Not really long term investing...

Here's the deal. Once Waves ICO was announced people cried about selling their Lisk so they can participate in it. You watch. Lisk will launch and those who invested in Waves will be screaming at Waves to shorten their ICO timeframe and hurry because they want to sell and buy Lisk because Lisk is going up and they're going to miss the train.
People putting all their eggs in one basket. Smart investors will divvy it up a bit and the new investors will have to learn the hard way.

Lisk is collapsing. Will be trading at 5000 satoshi maximum when it launch on bittrex
Not collapse, just closer to fair value.
not a couple alot of them but that 3000btc thrown at waves makes you wonder is there any btc left for us. whether lisk is a success we have to see lisk has more investors looking for a quick buck than those that buy it for its tech

In the grand scheme of things an extra couple weeks isn't that long. Plus, waiting a few weeks will draw more excitement which is good for Lisk. I know it's easier said than done, that's why i have gone and prepped a few bottles of wine to get me through until launch

Waves looks super interesting. I'm seriously considering investing in the ICO. However, I don't think I will be able to do the first day 20%. That's a huge % too.
