Re: What are common mistakes and problems of the traders?
by

Hello traders!

I am new here in this forum I don't have more knowledge about tradings, but I think maybe someday if I will given a chance to do trading I think I should try it. So I always read articles about tradings and also I read threads here in our forum about trading discussion. However I would like to ask all traders here that have more experiences about trading if what was the common problems that encountered of an ordinary traders?  And what was the common mistakes had you ever experienced and how could you manage this problem and mistakes?

Can you share your thoughts and experiences about tradings.

Thank you in advance.

You must not be too emotional and do trading without a clear plan. When you are overly emotional, you are prone to making mistakes and as a result losing money....

Re: Be calm when the market falls

Staying calm while the market plummets takes a special kind of person, doesn't it? Sometimes I think it'd be great if they taught you how to remain calm even at school because this is the kind of behavior you cannot learn easily.

I never panic and there's a simple reason for that: I don't keep all the eggs in one basket  Cool
As simple as that.
Happy hodling!

when you do trading, do you always think about this, "buy some, sell some, hold some."

Nope. Never thought about it that way. I never sell all I have, so I guess that's what you mean by "hold some?" Because I always hodl some, I don't know what you mean by "hold some."

Don't ask - buy! Eth is the best crypto after Btc, so I don't think you'll be sorry about that.

Re: HODL is not advisable!

In my very own experienced there is no good outcome when you HODL too much.
First of all do you know what HODL means?
HODL is used when referring to hold the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading, for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.
I suggest that all in the Crypto community must learn the basic trading fundamentals. There are free tutorials anywhere. Don’t be lazy, think big.

Yes, trading may sometimes bring more money, but hodling isn't about losing money either. Moreover, hodling is preferable for inexperienced investors because you don't lose money, which might be the case with trading. So, I wouldn't impose my opinion on others because it might be bad for some people.

Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ?

It seems to me that buying at the sharp drop in price makes pretty good sense. However, "after sharp drop, there should be sharp rising" isn't 100% true. Just keep it in mind so you won't make any serious mistakes in case there isn't any "sharp rising" Cool

Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December?

According to some people who I tend to believe, BTC might even drop by December and a new moon might not be in sight until 2020, when it might hit even 50k or more, but these are just speculations because this market is totally new and uncertain.

Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets?
by
Renegadegate
on 26/08/2018, 18:59:03 UTC
Leaving all crypto on a trading platform sounds pretty scary. I heard this is too risky, so it might depend on your attitude, the amount and type of assets, a country, a platform, etc. and probably should be considered on a case-by-case basis. But as a rule of thumb, when it comes to all the crypto you have, the safest way to keep it is in a cold storage they say...
I prefer Ledger Nano S.

Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure?

Yes, of course. But I'm really surprised at how many people do not take their security seriously enough and then start complaining about lost coins...
I understand that there is only one more or less serious security measure - to keep your coins in a cold wallet. Some people believe in the power of their online wallets, but I think they will have to face it sooner or later - cold wallet is the only way you are supposed to keep your assets if you don't want to lose them

It's a huge topic where there hasn't been any hypothesis good enough to stop fighting about it Wink
So, let's keep on trying. I for one, do not believe in evolution just because I haven't seen any trustworthy evidence to support any theory.

Well, as far as I get it, they aren't LAUNCHING it. I'd rather say they are "CONSIDERING LAUNCHING IT," or "STUDYING" whether to launch it or not. That's it.

I don't believe you should ask for the advice here because there's no correct answer, IMHO. You have to make your own decision, anyway.

Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic? ✅

I don't think it helps the global economy directly, but indirectly, by providing support to its underlying technology, which is Blockchain, it'll help by promoting transparency and removing unnecessary links in the business chains, which will help get rid of red tape and the rest of bloodsuckers. So, it can help, in its own way, you know Wink

Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading
by
Renegadegate
on 03/07/2018, 20:14:16 UTC
Controlling emotions is usually seen as next to impossible, but in reality you CAN take control, although it is by no means easy and takes a lot o time to master.
One of the best ways to start off is to learn not to get your emotions involved in ANY aspect of your life and first of all try not to react in any way even when something good happens. Having mastered that, it will be way easier to keep calm with some negative events... This is like a general idea Wink Works for me!
