Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum?
by
Renji Abarai
on 09/11/2020, 04:54:08 UTC
No. There is no such thing as next Ethereum. There will be one and only Ethereum and the rest of the altcoins that wanted to be on Ethereum's track will be different and will just be following Ethereum. How many times have we heard of altcoins claiming to be the next Ethereum? I heard that from Binance (BNB), Cardano (ADA), etc. So far, Ethereum is still the one and only.

Tezos has always been an incredible project. It should push forward not under the shadows of Ethereum but on its own light. It could very well compete as Tezos and not as the next Ethereum.

You got  a point here, even EOS was tag as the next Ethereum..TRON...etc. They could be a  great rival to Ethereum  and thats it. Ethereum has carves its name on its own and even innovate something that is different from bitcoin. Each new coin must have its own innovation and path not just like copying what is in ETH had done.

Re: Are Airdrops Profitable?
by

on 21/04/2018, 16:49:45 UTC
It really depends on the airdropper's quality of tokens. You should look at the supply and project's initiative. Most you can get as far as I know for an airdrop is around $200.

Re: ICO is the best way to invest?
by
Renji Abarai
on 21/04/2018, 15:41:52 UTC
It's not really the best  way. But there are times that ICOs give good returns when you buy starting from the private sale since the tokens will really have a higher price after the ICO itself. The profit to make is sure. However, there are a lot of scam ICOs so check them out really carefully.

Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do???

Allocated some portion in trading, I think its rewarding but risky also if you are a newbie.  Do more research and learning on how to trade. Also watch out for some promising ICO, it  is rewarding too but watch out for scam also.

Re: The future for BitConnect??? :D

BitConnect can have a good future but in my opinion BitConnect need atleast 6 month to be relevant again but i don't know BitConnect might be done.

Maybe it has a good future but so much publicity to do it to clear their name. An impression and a fact that they are stopped by government to operate is a big blow to them. A word "scam" being associated to them stains their reputation.

They're not the police, nor is the trust system the judicial system.
*applaud*

If you send Merit to a post that doesn't deserve it, you probably risk your account.
Disagreed. That would be stupid. Either you have the freedom of sending merit to whomever you want, whenever you want, or you have a very restricted system that is somewhat pointless. Users should not be scared to leave merit or the system will collapse.

I agree with @Lauda here but at first, I am also afraid of giving merits to  others as some might accused  and link your account with them. But the key here is, Post a good content,a quality one, relevant to topic and you wont worry. At least you can argue if some accuses, as you give the merits to the good quality post.

Re: WHY DO THEY NEED ICO? - more thoughts on authenticity
by
Renji Abarai

Quite often I find here opinions like: "...they have a very strong team, a working product since number of months... so I will invest!" and every time I think WHY do they need ICO?

It seems to me that having competitive product ready and stront team on place, those guys can start making big bucks with their core business... maybe their goal is to quickly return on investment by crowdsale of  tokens which likely useless for their product?

Honestly, I am in the process of launching ICO too, but I have the following different situation:

DEV.TEAM - just few enthusiasts (very skilled and experienced though)
PRODUCT - have prototype & passed PoC with success
DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION - by our rough estimation, completed by just 20-25% (still long way to go since only core system is prototyped, partner and user interfaces are still to be designed and implemented)

we can continue it with the same team ending in about 3-5 years. It is clear we will make it but we are sure that our idea will be taken and re-produced earlier so it is very essential for us to quickly attract an investment for getting resources, necessary for completing commercial integration and launch in 1-2 years, but the earlier the better.

So back to the subject - is it really worth investing in a live product with still unclear perspectives? I write "unclear" because to my understanding, if product is up and running but fail bringing return, something is wrong with it.

Thanks in advance for your opinion

This is also one of my concern and question before. Since ICO mostly are raised to generate funding for the project but as on the investor side, how can this project generate profits? Its very risky indeed, as long as the roadmap is clear and whitepaper is detailed. I hope there is a government regulation before they can lauch an IC where the docs and  feasibility study is approved etc. Just my opinion here.

Re: Bitcoin is not gambling
by

Bitcoin is not gambling it is just a digital money. Gambling is involve when  someone uses bitcoin as a medium of exchange during the gambling process just like your fiat currency

Of course bitcoin is not a gambling, and you are correct since its is a cryptocurrency in specific terms. But when you buy it and hold, and expecting it to have a bigger value in the future, you are gambling here  Wink Because when your target is not met, you lose. there is a risk here involved when you consider bitcoin as an asset.

Re: What cryptocurriencies do we really need?
by
Renji Abarai
on 06/10/2017, 11:11:26 UTC
BTC is the first, the most stable, the most known. It will always be the main digital currency. Others are just little players trying to take a part of the cake by loud adverts.

There are many flavors of cryptocurrency I mean there are many kinds of it and it depends on your choice. The  most popular is bitcoin and it serves us very  well as a truly digital currency. Due to its wide  adoption, bitcoin is widely use and with bitcoin I think it is enough. But since there are other options (altcoins), on different purposes like the Ethereum that is good for shares, you can choose what you like.

by

yeah i think so, btc will be source of shopping in the future and use of money, because of its savety and becoming widely accepted....future true for btc

Yes, bitcoin is the new era of currency until we find a new currency where it can  offer more than a bitcoin can do. With features as decentralization, this is  something new where you have like a bank in your wallet where you can also buy in the internet.

i\I am in favor of these fork or upgrade with the bitcoin or any coin as long as the important features are safeguarded and it could improve the system. This is necessary to cope up with the current situation and to adjust with the demands.

Re: Any new airdrop coins?
by
Renji Abarai
on 01/10/2017, 12:16:28 UTC
I'm sorry, maybe I don't read enough about crypto--what is an airdrop coin?

An Airdrop is a free giveaway of premined coins. Which makes me wonder – did the term "airdrop" come to life to circumvent the "no giveaways" rule?

If Airdrop is a free giveaway , then how can we avail it. Im just curious . Does everybody have it , or just some lucky member here in the forum ?

Anyone can have it by joining the airdrop. You have to follow rules in order to avail. Some are requiring to send a PM to the devs and some are having a customized website to fill up tour username here and just a wallet address. Some are also requiring emails. Also, there are some first come first serve basis and having a limited participants so, you have to be early to join Smiley Good luck.

Re: SHOULD WE START LOOKING ELSE WHERE
by
Renji Abarai
on 01/10/2017, 11:36:13 UTC
Funny you asked that question. Why look elsewhere when every coin out there is doing the tango with bitcoin? Once bitcoin falls, everything else falls in the cryptoworld too.

Yes, and seems all cryptos are connected. You've notice that in trading  all altcoins are peg in bitcoin so yeah, when one falls possible same with most of the alts. There is a time that bitcoin and ethereum are inversely proportional to each other when  Bitcoin goes down, eth goes up but that is not always the case.

Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children
by
Renji Abarai
on 01/10/2017, 03:45:12 UTC
Ofcourse it is very hard to explain bitcoin to children or teenager. But if i face this problem. So explain their very simply. I will tell them bitcoin is a currency like usd and other currency. But bitcoin is a online currency. That simple.

Teenagers now a days especially those Millennials are easy to teach. They have their mobile phones always with them as bthe are at pace withh technology. I just introduce to them that is the same as our money where they can also use too purchase online.

Re: Bitcoin ban in South Korea
by
Renji Abarai
on 01/10/2017, 02:49:38 UTC
I can say that it is all FUD like in China, they are just trying to get the price of bitcoin to a lower price and if you read some articles or news before, they already legalized bitcoin and that is why the price of bitcoin goes up from the past months and if you will have a good thinking, then you will not believe in banning bitcoin in south korea.

I think Korea is regulating it and not banning the bitcoin. I read that someone buys Korbit one of the leading exchanges there. I agree that same with China it creates confusion. What is being ban in China is the ICO's... I think the keyword here is "regulate".
