I'm not sure on the specifics, but with the Edgeless Lounge you can send edg to a smart contract and then you get some of the casino's earnings. We should be hearing more about this as the platform launches.

Anyways, my $ total is just dropping. I'm moved everything to XMR a few days ago (thank god I got out of LTC) but I'm afraid it will just keep going down. Not sure where to move my coins, I just keep them in XMR because I am most passionate about this coin. Although to be fair it has stayed right around 0160 for the past few days, it's just BtC that is changing, but the value is definitely going down.

What should I do? BTC hit below 50% today but all I see is red on most coins.

I mean in theory, if BTC drops then the xmr/btc price would go up because to get the same USD amount would require more btc.

But if they are both dropping then that sucks.

I mean who knows, there's so many coins that it is possible if any of them have any real success then they might have their certain market.

For example people who need complete privacy, there's Monero(XMR).

And take something like Potcoin, sounds kinda dumb and I wouldn't expect it to have a real potential, but they said they have been contacted by shops in Canada to use it. So maybe Potcoin will become the cypto for all the weed shops or some shit.

I don't invest in most altcoins but I am heavily invested in Monero(XMR). Definitely look into it because I see no reason as to why it can't become at least valued for those who need the absolute privacy. Arrests have been happening and it is only a matter of time before the arrests are more common and people need the alternative.

Some people are betting on Dash shooting up but it's just a scam coin. If it does go up, sure you could make money, but I'm not wasting time with it. I don't think there is real potential for the coin because there are companies who rule them out since they know about the instamine and basically that it's a scam. Who knows if it will get pumped again, I'm not wasting my money on it though.

Dude, this thread is 2 years old. I mean there's posts up to this past December, but a lot of this information is irrelevant now.

Monero is thriving and if you look at the charts, it's likely to stay on the upward trend over the course of this year.

Sure 90% of my posts are Monero so I won't talk bad about it, but I actually like this crypto cause its not a scam. It has real potential.

I'm sure not every person cares about being 100% anonymous, but I know a certain market of people who use bitcoin and are getting arrested, and those people will definitely flock to Monero when more arrests start happening. They already have the option to use it, but most haven't cared yet. I think they will care soon enough, but that's all speculation.

Also, about the code thing, Monero is open source. Nobody is sitting there with a ton of money. People don't have all day every day to spend on this shit. The community funds the projects. The development is a little slow, sure, but if it is already $10+ at this point, where will it be when RingCT is mandatory, when there is a mobile wallet, when kovri is implemented.(Although I realize that price does not determine if the coin is successful) You can say whatever you want, but I truly believe that Monero will succeed.

Hell if coinbase adds them, I'm gonna go around to everyone and say I told you so. But I don't know if they would do Monero or not. Would be huge news though.

Yeah dude, you're right. Litecoin offers so much more than bitcoin, and it is accepted at so many places! Also the price has just been steadily increasing forever. Not even one dip down!

zVault is a virtual currency wallet. (It never says cryptocurrency)

With zVault you can have zGold and zSilver, and I guess you can earn these or buy them. So at first glance it is just some reward points that you get for buying from them. But from what I'm reading, it seems you can just buy the coins and use them. One of the articles I read mentioned it being like "bitcoin + xbox live points". They say they want it to be the online payment solution for gamers.

Don't worry, it won't last. And anyways, a lot of their coins are in master nodes, so it is a big impact on the available coins. (I think like ~40% of their coins)

Coinbase is very good about complying with the law. Maybe it's because they have to, I don't know, but do you guys really think they would add Monero? Just thought they would be kinda against the anonymity.

That being said, I remember someone mentioned about how if they added Monero, it would actually be easier for Coinbase or whoever, because if someone were to come ask questions, all they can say is "I don't know where it came from or where it went".
