Re: My trading strategies
by

First am not a pro trader, but my trading techniques have proven fundamentals. I recycled around Bitcoin and some handful of good altcoins; I trade with a hand full of funds since altcoins and the bitcoin market move in the opposite direction; I fill my bags with altcoins when the alt markets are down against Bitcoin and sell them when the market is on the rise to buy bitcoin which will be on a downtrend at that moment.

This technique has worked for me over the years.

Interesting tehnique ... a friend of mine explained this to me .... its because when bitcoin rises people sell altcoins to invest in BTC .... and when BTS is pretty high people start selling on profit to invest in altcoins because they re low...this result in altcoins growing and BTC dropping.

Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading

Two weeks ago, I've been asked by a member of a Facebook group if I could help him to start trading.

BTC was dropping and the guy was desperate a bit.

Learning to trade is not that easy if you start from scratch and there are many topics to be covered.

So I decided to write a guide on my blog that would cover all the basics in order to put him and other new traders on the right path.

I thought that sharing it here might be good if ever any of you would like to get started with trading.

Don't hesitate if you have any questions or suggestions on what I could add to the guide to make it more complete.

Here's the guide link: https://trendsurferssignals.com/how-to-trade-cryptocurrencies/

Good article , it did help me understand a few things that were unclear for me until today.

Re: Buy low, Sell high?
by

I keep seeing a lot of people who are fearing the price right now, many people who are getting out, and plenty that thinks it will crash even harder.

Why does everyone think the same? I mean it shouldn't be like this right? I have been long enough to hear "buy low, sell high" a million times so far, and it has always been said when the market is low, but for some reason, people still do not feel hopeful when the price is low.

I am not going to make your investments for you, it is not my decision to sell or buy for you, if you want to get out right now and feel scared then you should do that, it is your money and only you can decide that.

However, if tomorrow the price starts to go up, and if the price reaches 70k in 2022, then you should remind yourself this day when the price was under 40k, and you felt fear instead of hope. Because prices always go down before it starts to go up. I can't promise that it will right away, but I am not selling, in fact, I am buying more. Focus on what can happen, and not what has happened, that way you can have some hope for the future.

GOOD TOPIC, VERY GOOD ... you never know when theres a good dip to invest in ...thats why i always invest multiple times small amount of money .... Its important not to panic when it drops .... panic sells Smiley)

Re: What coin you like trading future
by

Is it bitcoin or altcoin, if it is altcoin, can you specify?

Bitcoin price is volatile but altcoins price are more volatile, future trading can be leveraged up to 100x for bitcoin and coins like ethereum while 50x for other available altcoins. Which coins have you been using and which is bringing you profit?

What I mean is BTC/USDT or ALTCOIN/USDT.

I think what that matters is the leverage used, but I have been experiencing liquidation at 3x leverage for altcoins in extreme volatile market, when I calculated it for bitcoin, the trading fund would not have liquidated if i used bitcoin because the liquidation price is still most of the time far from the price.

I will not talk more about manipulation because I have seen bitcoin future market price manipulated in a way many people's coins are liquidated in just few minutes, but I think I have seen it happened in bitcoin future market ones on the exchange I am using but this happened frequently with altcoins in volatile market.
Good chestion .... im still searching for good oportunities, i would risk and invest in new coins and tokens hoping to get in early and win 2-300% Cheesy but thats risky as always ...

Re: Keep calm and buy the dip.

Quick question.

Have you ever bought the dip, but then the price breaks through the support and continues dropping deeper for weeks or months?  Grin
Well, I have done it before.

The problem may not be panicking but may be determining the actual dip before a pump.
Not every dip is worth buying
True ...i recently started trading, im a newbie.... i bought 150$ worth of BTC at 38k (wished i bought at the 36k low) ....but now its good Smiley) i see its stable at 44k ....if it drops again under 40k i will probably invest a bit more .

Re: One Remarkable thing about Bitcoin
by
Richardtolson1
on 17/02/2022, 11:25:12 UTC
In the present econometric society where compromised and unreliable database has stirred up doubts and trust issues amongst citizens in a  centralized society came a technology that actually proved integrity can be maintained using a distributed ledger that runs on a decentralized network  doing this through a proof of work algorithm to achieve a global consensus which has been a major challenge in all manipulative and controlled centralized database in any distributed computing.

Bitcoin birth has triggered lots of inquisitiveness to the mystery behind the technology even though cryptography existed as far back as 1990s, this early cryptographic discoveries didn't see any significant progress because it was tied down to a centralized value (basically gold and fiat) after its creation this gave room to different manipulations and compromise making sure the poor never had access to play part in the big game so the can always keep the masses in check.

what has bitcoin got to do with this:
Satoshi has cleared the doubt that transparent, well trusted  and reliable database can be generated in a decentralized network where no central third party serve as an intermediary how? it is simple by solving the Byzantine General's problem which is a process where a collective network of individuals or central authority tries to effect a change, follow  a course of action or make a general agreement on the state of a system on a highly compromised and unreliable network.

[/b] How was satoshi able to solve this?[/b]
Satoshi was able to solve this big economic issue by introducing a decentralized public ledger that relies on a proof of work algorithm to establish any valid consensus. Which means nothing on the network is hidden and no process can be undone since tampering with a single data on the blockchain will affect every other entry down to the genesis block rendering the whole database void and all this approach don't need a central authority to decide which data comes first rather than a consensus of the nodes on the network even satoshi himself doesn't have autonomy over the network what a selfless service

Why should this be your concern
A new technology is launched and is creping into our financial institution gradually it might not necessarily replace the fiat currency but one this i am excited about is that on the long run it will spring up innovations to improve on the centralization issues and still give more edge to bitcoin adoption either as a technology, a currency , an asset or a network which ever way Bitcoin will get more adoption. cheers!!
interesting subject ... will have to follow up more about this subject

Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs?
by

I don't find any real usability for this Metaverse: actually I think it will only make people and society dumber and closer to the Idiocracy movie. Spending time online wearing some stupid glasses it's a no no for me. Also the NFTs are a waste of time and money, I wouldn't buy useless digital shoes and buildings. I love BTC and have diamond hands but these 2 things I'm not a fan of and I know I will never be. Society needs to become wiser not dumber. Living in a digital realm sucks, I'm a human being not a stupid machine. Rant over.

Well ... its all about every user how they will handle the Metaverse situation .... times are changing .... everything is digitalised and we have to adapt. I agree with you that some people will get dumber and they will probably forget to take of the VR and slowly die in front of their pc Smiley) .... But there are probably good things also .... i mean NFT's are an interesting thing, some projects skyrocketed maybe to much .... but owning digital art is kinda cool.

Re: The most reliable coin to invest in is Bitcoin.

Hello.

I have been investing in Bitcoin as well as other coins for a long time. Some of these coins have disappointed me. After reviewing investments so far, I have found that investing in Bitcoin is the smartest thing. Although the price of Bitcoin has dropped a lot, this coin does not disappoint me because I have full confidence in this coin. I think and believe that the price of this currency will not decrease for a long time, it will one day exceed its maximum value. Which happened towards the end of 2021.

Well yeah its the first crypto, everyone knows about it and it probably will always keep its value in time, maybe skyrocket sometimes in the future over 100k or so ... but in my opinion there are also other coins that have proven to be trustworthy.
