Try to look on how bitcoin works, bitcoin offers lots of positive financial opportunity for lots of people specially in areas where it is not banned but in order to be part of bitcoin network, a person should have an internet connection, an internet-capable device, and off course atleast few bucks for start up.

Re: How to choose bounty?

Myself I like to participate into bounties runned by Syllon. This guys can be trusted and the projects his picking are legit and they have a real chance to succed into ICO's and after ICO's. There are others things that I do before I pick a bounty like checking the team , project , roadmap and so on.

Re: Do you still support Ethereum?

Ethereum is a good coin, and the value is about right, any more than $300 and it is over valued. Ethereum needs to find life outside ICO's to be worth more, but so far so good

Many economistes said that Btc will reach 3000 but after a long time (2 other years) but it reached it already, and it is rising again and again.
So I think it will be unstoppable.

Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin
by
RickFoster
on 18/04/2018, 06:54:35 UTC
I can still consider these days as buying time for altcoins because although the price of bitcoin is receding a little there are still several days left before bitcoin gold will come out. Because of this, people are still shifting to bitcoin and that is a reason for altcoins to be at this cheap level. Once bitcoin gold will come out and has been distributed, the rest will be returning to altcoins. There will be pumps for sure

I have always said that this price fall is healthy. it was well needed to keep the BTC system healthy. We should all see this price fall in good light. We need more people to invest and the previous price would have made it difficult for investors as it was too high. now it has fallen to a level where people can now invest with some ease. I love this fall and hopefully, soon enough the price will pick up

I do not trust completly the bitcoin, but I can say that to have the money in bitcoin is preferrable to have then in a classic bank. Someone from South America was saying here on bitcointalk that poeple from his country do not know what credit cards are, what to say about bitcoin

Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable
by
RickFoster
on 17/04/2018, 04:32:14 UTC
Bitcoin is certainly not a globally accepted currency and it's not currency at all it's just used as store of value. For bitcoin to replace fiat and become globally accepted currency it would require some drastic changes to be made in bitcoin. If there's something which cost you $1 in fiat currency the same thing would cost you more than $1 because you have to add network fee to $1 so obviously you will choose to pay with dollar instead of bitcoin so it's not just instability in the prices of bitcoin which stops it from becoming a worldwide currency but the other factors like transaction fee etc also is a hurdle in bitcoins becoming worldwide currency Cool

Really possible, but in my opinion this is a lot more possible when talking about countries like The United States, Australia, and other first world countries. I don't see this happening to 3rd world countries or even poorer countries due to poverty; the poor crowd couldn't even afford food and basic commodities, what more a mobile device to transact bitcoin with?  Tongue

Sharing experiences in Mining-Holding
by
RickFoster
on 28/03/2018, 04:55:07 UTC

If you have a great passion for mining, instead of purchasing a new house, you should think about holding an old yet good one at the price of a bike, especially when the market capitalization will soon drop to 300 billion.
Not mention to the increasing electricity price and mining fees, the old-fashionable POW of Blockchain 1.0 (BTC) has been replaced by more advanced technologies such as POS, DPOS, DApp, etc. Mining is evaluated to stop developing in the near future (in 2-3 years) while there is an increasing number of people lacking technological expertise yet having spent a fortune on mining machines. It serves their rights.
Market fluctuation is the right moment to purchase a good house because crypto capitalization might take place real soon at any time.

Re: What are your criteria to assess an ICO?
by
RickFoster
on 26/03/2018, 02:24:43 UTC
Hello guys  Wink Wink Wink
What convinces you to join a brand new project? I suppose that this is the wonders of many investors, so why don't we share our opinions in this topic?
Thanks  Smiley

Well for me, the very first thing that I look at an ICO is the concept of their project as to whether it solves real problems or creates an imaginary problem for it to solve. After that, if I somehow liked the concept, I then proceed to look at the developing team to make sure if they are experienced people in creating ICOs and are really good at what they do. Then, I look at the community it has supporting it and ask a few questions. And then, I proceed to reading the white paper to know their whole plan for the project. And lastly, I ask more about the things on the white paper to make things clearer for me so that I can be sure that my investments are in good hands.

Hope this helps you man, good luck.
thanks you. I like your opinion
