I have no clue about pretty much anything this thread is about, but I do have one crucial piece of advice that may help out:

If you've accidentally already synced your phone after updating, check your Recycle Bin (if on Windows).  My experience with iTunes is that if it was syncing a newer version from the phone to the PC, the older version was merely recycled rather than deleted entirely.  Delete the "new" version's *.ipa file from "My Music \ iTunes \ Mobile Applications", restore the old version from the Recycle Bin, and send that version back to the phone.

I like the way the site works, and I'm in the middle of my first test under the new ownership which seems to be working well.

But dude, you gotta advertize if you want the site to survive.  Look into placing an ad on those "daily Bitcoin faucet" sites if you want some cheap visibility.  Don't let the site die due to lack of traffic like BitcoinTorrentz did (the inspiration for Bitfetch in the first place, if I'm not mistaken)

That... that's a decimal point typo, right?  You're not actually trying to charge 43.5 BTC for an HTC One, right?

I do not know very much about the situation with MtGox withdrawals.  However, I do notice that there is almost a $20 difference in the Bitcoin price between MtGox and the others (such as BitStamp or BTC-E).  This means that everyone who wants their USD has given up trying to get it directly from MtGox, so they're paying a 20% premium to get BTC that can be transferred to another exchange.  Just something to think about.

Unfortunately I cannot do anything for you regarding that last post, but your bump brought this thread to my attention, and I'm rather interested in getting a Bitcoin ring.  However I do not have any idea what my ring size is, or how to find that out.  Should I go to a random jeweler nearby or is there a better way to find out?

Folks, please recognize that this sort of thing was necessary to help Bitcoin grow to the point it is now.  Yeah today we can laugh at laszlo for spending what is NOW a few million dollars for two pizzas.  At the time it was worth about $40, the going price for two delivered pizzas.  

My main point is that he was selflessly spending his BTC to help further the Bitcoin economy, months before many of you ever even heard of it.  Without people like him, Bitcoin would have never taken off like it has.

Is LocalBitcoins having some server errors or something?  I'm trying to add an advertisement to sell a few Bitcoins in my local area, and every time I hit Submit I am greeted with a page saying "Error in form" and the following (personal details blanked out):

I've already put the right numbers in, but okay... I'll try it again, putting in the same numbers I put before I clicked Submit.  Same errors.

I read the FAQ and saw that prices were updated every 5 minutes, so I rushed to create the advertisement with as little unnecessary wording as necessary, but it still failed.  (I highly doubted this would work, but it was worth a shot)

I may have explained that poorly, but the end result is that I am not able to create a "selling BTC" advertisement for myself like I have in the past.  I'm just curious if there is a technical reason behind it.

EDIT:  Tried it again with a static value for the sell price rather than one relying on the MtGox API, and it still failed.  "Error in form" is as descriptive as the error message gets.

EDIT 2:  That's not to say that the entire site is broken, absolutely not.  I can still deposit and withdraw Bitcoins to/from my account wallet just fine.  I just can't seem to make an advertisement, that's all.

Heyo, just wanted to pop in and say thanks for this service.  I've come into some unexpected car trouble and needed to liquidate some of my Bitcoins, and LocalBitcoins has helped me a lot in that regard. 

Out of curiosity, have you changed the fees for cancelling an ongoing trade in the past week or two?  When I did my first trade last month I noticed a cancellation option but didn't need it since the trade went through successfully.  A few days ago, another person I was selling to needed to change the withdraw address on-the-spot and I saw that it didn't charge me a fee to cancel the existing trade even though it had already been funded from my LocalBitcoins wallet.

Please explain this like I'm 5 years old, as I'm not car-savvy at all.

I currently own a car that my dad bought in 1999, and has never left the family.  It's been serviced in both the dealership shop and some mom-and-pop oil change type places.  Would I get anything out of a CarFax or AutoReport check?  Maybe even an idea of what the outside world thinks of the car, compared to the detailed service records that we keep ourselves in an Excel spreadsheet?

I'm interested, especially since I may need to trade in my car soon.  I know what's been done to the car, but how much does the outside world know?  That *I* don't know.

Increase your fees if you need to, but don't shut down the site.  The per-gigabyte charge is still insanely low from my viewpoint.

I'm selling some coins on LocalBitcoins in low denominations and have worked with one person who sent cash in the mail rather than meeting locally.  To be honest, I'm surprised they trusted me enough to do that when I had no reputation on the site, and so in an attempt to reciprocate that trust, I film myself opening the envelope and counting the cash just to be on the absolute safe side.  That said though, I would probably also accept a money order, or even a personal check as long as I'm allowed time to let it clear before releasing the coins, but again I'm dealing with less than $100 per transaction.

I truly hope your $560 transaction works out well.  When you're dealing with a currency in which transactions are irreversible, a healthy dose of paranoia and caution is always warranted.  

This is unrelated to anything, but holy crap, Roman?  I simultaneously can and cannot believe that it's you behind Bitfloor.  I haven't paid much attention to Bitcoin in the past few months, so this is really a shock to me.  Good to see you did something incredibly useful with your software skills after Robocup, and I wish the best in continuing the operation of the site.

I was duped by this as well, and I believe it was when using BitVisitor to see some page that had 4 ad links on it for various Bitcoin related things.  Same as the OP, I just said "eh I'll just click the link rather than going to the site manually" and was suspicious when my 0.3 bet had no return change at all.  I found a Reddit post a day or two ago that warned about this scam (possibly sourced from this thread) and realized I'd been had.

I went through the Bitvisitor cycle again today and found the exact page I believe I got the first time, but this time none of the four links were to this scam site, but it could still be in the random rotation.

Note that I was pretty heavily inebriated at the time, so I may be misremembering some of the details.  Pretty sure I'm right here though, as my transaction list shows 2-3 incoming transactions from BitVisitor on either side of the outgoing SatoshiDice transaction, and BitVisitor is pretty good about paying out almost immediately rather than queueing a bunch of transactions at once like most other similar sites.

Worked for me, but getting to the crates page took a long time, as did going from clicking on the crate to the "You won x.xxxx BTC" page.  As slow as it was, it still went through.

As did I.  As I've been in-and-out of the Bitcoin scene for months now, I was not aware that this site even existed until 20 minutes ago, when I came upon it via BitVisitor.  Dunno why I even use BitVisitor since it pays out maybe a penny at most per 5-minute website visit, but this time I'm glad I did since it introduced me to CoinDL, and this album.  I'm not exactly a music buff, but the closest thing I can compare it to is the entirety of the album "The Hazards of Love" by The Decemberists.  Either way, I liked what I heard in the previews, so I bought it.  Wouldn't have heard of them at all if it wasn't for Bitcoin

This site, at least from my cursory glance at it, appears to be one of those perfect applications of Bitcoin, as a sort of replacement for iTunes for those willing to accept Bitcoin as payment, and going after the indie music scene is a fantastic idea for that.  I'll comment more once I peruse the site more to see what else people have to offer.

CoinDL here actually makes me excited to spend Bitcoins on actual goods and services again rather than treating it like a stock, much the same way that BitcoinTorrentz does.

Two questions:

1.  How do you intend to get around the terms-of-use violations for most of these MMOs that explicitly state that buying in-game currency is forbidden?  I honestly have only played WoW from that whole list, so I'm not much of a gamer myself, but I know that Blizzard at least is very aggressive in making these sorts of things difficult, or at least a bannable offense if caught.  Especially for selling whole accounts.

2.  Why do your two earliest "testimonials" sound like generic eBay feedback comments?  Quoting this in case it changes:
