Re: What lies ahead for Bitcoin in the coming days?
by
Rivaldine
on 14/11/2023, 01:47:55 UTC

What if… Bitcoin hits $1, what if… Bitcoin is now $30, what if… Bitcoin is now at $200… Breaking news Bitcoin is $1,000… $10,000… $20,000… what if this is the end?… Bitcoin is now $40,000… $50,000… Breaking news, new ATH; Bitcoin has risen over $60,000! Trust me, all this question will do is kill your time. Right from when Bitcoin was created, it had naysayers, it had those set of people who were saying “what if” but as you can see, it’s been over a decade and you can tell that Bitcoin’s root only gets deeper and deeper.

Influencers have said loads of things about BTC and many of what they have said didn't come through. I have decided to keep my slate open in anticipation of whatever comes. While you are busy with speculations, you miss the fun in the industry, just my way of going along with what comes.

Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin.

Holding onto Bitcoin sometimes can be very difficult as the market situation sometimes isn't helping, imagine holding unto your BTC when you have to attend to another investment with a better potential, you are faced with a tough decision to make. In some cases, the other investment has more potentials to pump in a short time. Holding can be very difficult.

Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO?

Banks have the most regulated investments I can ever imagine, it will not be out of place to still rely on them to invest but to look at crypto, be prepared for whatever comes as the volatility of the market is unimaginable. Only people open to such are degree of volatility should adventure into crypto investments

Re: Binance removing support for BUSD

I think this has more to do with compliance than incompetency or being incapacitated. The unleash of suits on Binance in recent times has forced the world's leading exchanger to review certain features within its nest. CZ is trying to be careful not to have issues as it looks like he's the only man still standing strong and processing loads of transactions.

Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life
by
Rivaldine
on 15/10/2023, 17:36:32 UTC
Things has really changed unlike before when a graduate is coming out from the university their are job opportunities around the corners, people don't even stress themselves to acquire skills as an alternative just in case they don't get a job. Getting a job as a graduate some years back was a thing never to argue about or think about.  In this recent time things have really changed, expecting so much from the government as a graduate can lead people into serious problems.  The life we live now is so unpredictable, no one can be sure of practicing their desired career from what they have learnt in school.

I think if people really want to be happy in life, expecially undergraduates and young graduate they should learn not to give all expectations of having living job from the government.  If people create the mindset of being creative and productive in this era they will live a more happy life than putting all expectations of getting a dream job from the government.  A productive mindset is what young people needs to make life easy and worth living.

The narrative has changed, the world has evolved and operations with it. The way in which skills are being prioritized is next to none. People prefer to work with skilled people more than they value some certificates, because they do not seem to believe the certificates are merited. But the case of skills can not be compromised. If you are not skilled, you are not skilled.

Re: Is it easy to trust someone?
by

Damages have been done to the word called trust, hence, it is not an easy word to display anymore. Even trusted people, when pressurized can sacrifice the trust you have for them on grounds that offers more than what is expected or even when a lifetime challenge is involved..

Never trust no one. Even your addictions makes you not to trust yourself.

Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary
by
Rivaldine
on 15/10/2023, 17:17:38 UTC
This is a practical case of "problem never ends". You think the need before you is pressing enough only for you to wake up the next day with a much more higher need that surpasses the previous, to some extent, it looks like the need you attended to the previous day met the incoming need on the way and informed it that you are more than fit to combat whatever is presented at you. What I do is to try the best economical approach towards solving the problem and not spending too much as more is coming tomorrow. Everyday births a new challenge.

Re: Women are more economical than men.
by

on 05/10/2023, 09:17:38 UTC
I believe strongly that women are strongly made of conservative mentality, it is therefore pertinent to say that, women are more economical than men. Before a delve into responsibilities is natural construct, men are wired to have the consciousness of being responsible of loads of stuff and that is directly reflected in their expenditure. On the other hand, a woman is not legally obliged to be in charge of basic fundamentals, at least, before we consider people and cultures welcoming 50/50 bill splitting.

Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter
by
Rivaldine
on 05/10/2023, 08:17:27 UTC
Although he is financially one of the richest businessmen in the world, it is also worth noting that the share prices of his other companies could fall through losses on his Twitter purchase. In my opinion his main mistake was disregarding public sentiment. What is your concern?

He is a genius and he will certainly surprise you and everyone.

Maybe not all his companies will skyrocket,  but most of them are

Let's not confuse Elon's eccentric personality with his abilities and virtues, which he clearly has.

It is not rocket science to understand the obvious on X (twitter). The approach Elon has on twitter is not much helpful, irrespective of the fact that he decided to monetize certain features into looking like a web3 platform, he is enjoying the OG status twitter has, if he had setup a social network himself and started from the scratch, it won't be easy to achieve this feat.

If nothing else, the price of bitcoin since 2013 is enough reason for one to regret if he is not holding even 0.1btc in his wallet, whether mistakenly or as an intentional act. Since 2013 till now, the price of bitcoin has done more than 1000% and more to come.

Creating a crypto currency is somewhat easy and the knowledge is very important but a cryptocurrency should not be created just because one knows how to create it, the events surrounding the creation of cryptocurrency is more than just creating it as marketing and adoption is a very big industry business these days

Re: Surgeons Attached a Pig Kidney to a Man and Worked
by
Rivaldine
on 23/09/2023, 13:06:04 UTC

Quote
Surgeons in New York have successfully attached a kidney grown in a genetically altered pig to a human patient and found that the organ worked normally, a scientific breakthrough that one day may yield a vast new supply of organs for severely ill patients.

More of it https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/19/health/kidney-transplant-pig-human.html

All patients wouldn't have to wait very long for available kidneys for a human willing to give their kidney to someone with this breakthrough. Families of patients are hoping to find someone every day to save a member of their family, I guess this is a solution. Many families will probably try this which I think is also much cheaper than human kidneys. If this is possible, we could get lungs too right?

What are your thoughts on this approve it or not. I know Muslims will definitely not.

This is a welcome development for the medical space and individuals in dire need of kidney transplant but i know for sure that it has its side effects which we might not necessarily consider as we are saving a life already

It has always been the "emotion" that has wrecked even the best of traders. Fear of loosing much and the greed of not wanting to take profit when supposed. Many traders have very perfect speculation of what the market is and the possible outcome but they prefer to violate their own rules by compromising when they see perfection has been achieved.

Re: How is financial stability defined for you?
by
Rivaldine
on 02/08/2023, 23:38:57 UTC
Financial stability is basically tailored to one's understanding and perception about finance and what their satisfaction about it means. so, to some people, stability in finance means to afford their daily needs while to others, it means the ability to afford their life's wants and to some it simply means ability to reach out to a larger multitude with financial challenges and others it means their ability to live a luxurious lifestyle.
