Along this same topic... i've mined with x11 with a doge coin address for payout. have 2370 earned. and only 1.22 paid out. the balanced has been confirmed for ~30hrs. yet last night i only recieved a payout of  1.16.

Care to explain?

i'd be curious to know this also. So one part of the site is probably a ponzi, but the latest part isnt... doesnt really make sense.

That's the thing, NOTHING has changed. and payouts didn't slowly get smaller, they just stopped.

Ive had a cpu mining this @ the 5 difficulty setting for a few days. i get on the site to see what the expected payout is... and dont see my address listed. Yet i check and the miner is running (and hasnt stopped). i let the memecoin client download the last 2 days of blocks... and find that i havent gotten a payout since block #46536.

What gives?


Ive not turned the miner off, afaik its been mining, (~1 result per second, it had 280k results when i looked)

Edit : i used the same address to mine for ~30 mins. Nothing. double checked the address was correct. Nothing. Generated a new address, mined on it... and i started getting payouts almost right away.

i recall someone on here manually installing a driver in windows, through the device manager. (i think it was in the thread about getting 6 gpus in windows)

Could this not be done the same way? Find the card you want and manually install the drive you want for THAT card.

i figure windows would throw all kinda of errors if you had too many types mixed, IF it actually worked.

i have a voltage locked 7950. While i cant directly change the voltage, there are certain thresholds present for the card to lower the voltage on it's own. kinda like when the card switches between 2d and 3d mode.

i think the card is stock @ 1ghz, and IIRC the card lowers the voltage @ 800mhz core (1.125v) and 600mhz (1.050v, i forget what it was honestly).

I haven't run into the need for this yet, but noticed it when playing with the settings.

Wow! 50 share block, and i managed to get 5 shares in for a payout of 4.44LTC... thats ~110% of my daily income in one block. Nifty!

The card above (locked wf3 1x 6 pin and 1x 8 pin connector) runs the 1100/1500 24/7. i just had it at 1110 cause i was inching it up 5mhz at a time to find the max (1125 @ stock 1.25v) im not raising the voltage just due to the lack of cooling explained above.
My other 7950 (unlocked gigabyte wf3, 2x 6pin connectors) runs with all the same cgminer settings, same driver version/sdk, same everything in cgminer, and gets 630kh/s at 1050/1750 at 19 intensity.

Go figure.

did you verify the command worked, and is spelled right?
(if you're on windows, check your environment variables. right click my computer, advanced system settings, environment variables, it should show up in the top pane.)

AFAIK, the difference in threads makes no tangible difference in most cases...and i have yet to get a card to work above 10240 concurrency with 2 threads... not that i need to, 1 or 2 threads at 8192 gives me the same speeds.

I ran 12.10 for a long time, despite everyone (and tacotime) saying it was bad for LTC mining. I run 12.8 on both boxes, and whatever SDK came with it.

One thing i DID notice recently, the High intensities don't play well FOR ME with lower work sizes. 64/128 at any intensity >13 gave me 50-60kh/s lower than 256 work size.

an easy way to check if the shell commands are actually working is to check your environment variables. they should show up there. make sure you put the setx in a bat file, it wont work with in with the other cgminer settings.

its a touch low.. because i just restarted cgminer, normally 71-72c.

the 6870 that sits above it isnt helping. The lone 120mm intake is underpowered (air pressure, not cfm). The case is tiny, so airflow generally sucks. Ordering a thor2 this week.
