Cheddur looks interesting.

Cheddur (Android App) has added Datacoin.
It looks quite interesting.  Apparently it can act as an online wallet.
https://www.cheddur.com/

Best results seems to be when you install the app on your phone.

Greetings from Datacoin.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2188160.0

Datacoin is a fork of Primecoin, and shares the same proof of work and difficulty adjustment algorithm.  We noticed that Riecoin is a prime number cryptocurrency but not a fork of Primecoin.
However, Riecoin is at 10.2 and with Datacoin we have started coding 0.9.  So we would really like to engage the developers of Riecoin about the complexity of the Riecoin code.

It seems to me if I take Riecoin 0.9 and I replace the prime constellations code with the Cunningham chains code of Primecoin we would get Primecoin 0.9.  Adding Datacoin's data field to the transactions would then give us Datacoin 0.9, no?

Thank you.

If you look at the graphs, it seems that this whale comes regularly, so it can be expected that this person pumps again this coin...
Riecoin price don't have any sense

But I just realize... Who would buy significant amount of Riecoins? Maybe most of the buy orders could be from him, as are 99% of RIC trades!

lets just see what will happen in the following days

Keep driving traders away, and in the long run you'll find yourself in new atl's.

It looks like we're still on track to hit higher lows, maybe you should zoom out.

And really now, how can devs prevent a whale from manipulating price  Huh

You need to keep in mind this coin uses a scientific PoW, in that regard it's doing very well, it's merely a geeky prime number coin. This is why you see most contributions to the project are around improvements in mining.

That being said, having more average people mining the coin would help create a more even distribution of new coins and reduce some of the whale manipulation we're seeing.

+this.  Riecoin is one of very few coins where advances in mining are actually cool.  For normal PoW functions, better mining means ... wasting computation more efficiently.

The Riecoin miner code formed the basis for finding new world-record length prime tuples.  Not super useful (which is good - as Satoshi noted, it's important for the individual solutions to the PoW to be worth money), but intellectually nice to have.  Better than knowing that hash(blah blah) = 0x000000..blahblah. Smiley

cant agree more

Pinklabs Partnership Announcement
Pinkcoin is proud to launch Pinklabs; The hardware development arm of Pinkcoin.

Using free and open source software and our cryptocurrency technology, Pinklabs products are built with mass adoption in mind. This arm of Pink will focus on easy to use devices that will aid in the adoption of cryptocurrencies, especially Pinkcoin. Our first product, that has been in development since September, is a Proof of Stake and wallet system built on top of the Raspberry Pi suite of boards. With an easy to use user interface and setup process, this product will be the perfect resource from novice to veteran. The PinkPi will utilize less energy than even the most efficient desktop computers, while also introducing more people into an easy to use staking device at an affordable cost to purchase and operate.

As we wrap up the final touches before the product launch, we are very proud to announce a formal partnership between Pinkcoin/Pinklabs and Pi-Supply (https://www.pi-supply.com/); a registered partner with the Raspberry Pi foundation. Pi-Supply has over a decade of experience with designing, fabricating, and sourcing single-board computers and their peripheral devices. This partnership will allow us an unabridged connection between designing and fabricating our own hardware devices ranging from staking devices to a whole slew of other crypto specific hardware machines.

Pi-Supply has 85 global distribution channels to help bring Pinklab’s products to a wider audience and introduce crypto and crypto technologies to a larger market at an affordable cost. Pi-Supply is also a manufacturer of their own range of Raspberry Pi add-on kits and HATs and other hardware devices that will allow Pinklabs to explore potential that is untapped between cryptocurrency and single-board computers.

You can check out more information about Pi-Supply at their website, https://www.pi-supply.com/ and bookmark the landing page for Pinklabs products, https://www.stakebox.org.

As a note to everyone, all of the Pinklab products will be available to be purchased using Pinkcoin. Anyone who signed up for pre-order information can lookout for more details as we get closer to our launch date.

Thank you to everyone for being a part of the Pink community. You are what makes Pink, PINK!

btc38 stop RIC deposits?

When i try to create an address i get:

Stop deposit, please understand the announcement!

A lot of currencies show that same message on btc38, I don't know why they're having problems.
You can open a ticket, they usually respond in less than 24hs. I will try and see.

btc38 will end its exchange services due to the government policy of China

the github says “This file may contain malware and the automatic download has been disabled”,and the file is too old now.i think new wallet may be needed

If you can tolerate the informality, I have an MXE cross-compiled Windows binary available. All I had time for was to check that it runs on a Windows 10 VM, mind you. And I couldn't manage to successfully compile the qrencode facility, so I had to disable it pro tem.
