Both are 6 cores, but i5 8600k is 6 threads and i7 8700k is 12 threads. Do the threads affect?

The Asrock is a H3 (LGA 1150) Socket (Celereon G1840 sould be ok, right?). ASUS PRIME H270-PRO is a 1151 ATX Socket (Celeron G3900?). Wich one is simpler to configure?

Grazie... qua mi dicono che le 1060 con Ethereum non vanno molto bene, penso che tornerò all'idea iniziale, cioè quella di utilizzare 6 RX 570/580. Il problema è che non si trovano a prezzi umani. Forse ho trovato una buona occasione per delle 580 Nitro (che DOVREBBERO avere ram samsung), ma sono da 4gb.

Yes, my intention is to build a 6 GPU Miner (and I'm going to use win)... maybe I found 6 RX 580 at an accettable price (the 4gb version, I know 8gb is better, but I can't find them at the moment).

Honestly I would like to save money with mobo etc... a cheap Celeron maybe would be ok... no?

Ok, it seems that the GTX 1060 is not really a good choice for Ethereum. I'll wait for the RX 570 or 580 (I don't know if 4 or 8 gb, it depends on what I will find) . Which is the best rig config for these cards? I mean, motherboard, cpu etc?

Finally I decided to build my Ethereum rig with 6 Gtx 1060 (6gb version). I would have some questions:

-How do I check what type of RAM the graphic card is? It is true that only Samsung and Micron RAM allow a good overclock? Wich GTX 1060 brand should I choose?

-What kind of power supply do you recommend? 850w is ok?

-Ram? 4 gb should be ok... DDR 4?

-Motherboard and cpu: A normal Celeron would be ok, right?. Wich one exactly? I obviously also need to find a motherboard that supports that type of cpu. ASRock maybe is a good choice. Wich model should I choose?

Salve ragazzi, è da un pò che vorrei costruire un rig per fare un pò di mining di ehereum. La scelta più conveniente so che sarebbe utilizzare delle RX 570 o RX 580 ma sono diventate difficili da trovare e, sopratutto, i prezzi hanno raggiunto cifre folli... ho quindi pensato di ripiegare con 6 GTX 1060. Qualcuno mi sa dire come faccio a capire che tipo di ram montano? Ho letto che per poter essere overclockate e quindi avere dei risultati decenti le ram devono essere Samsung o Micron. Inoltre, sapete darmi indicazioni per il resto della configurazione? Pensavo di mettere una mobo ASRock, quale è adatta come socket per un Celeron? Ram vanno bene 4 gb? Alimentatore  850w può andare? Grazie mille!

Thanks for the answers. RX 570 would be a good choice but I can't fin them easily (and maybe having more than 4gb RAM would be a good choice). What kind o performance can I have with a 6 x Gtx 1070 rig (in mh/s)?
