I can see the price is picking up. Have I missed some important news or the price was just below fair valuation?

Fully agree. Time is hitting thier roadmap soon, first development should hit us soon: Develop a fully functioning payment gateway for e-commerce merchants, enabling them to accept ETH and leverage the first version of decentralized trust and reputation system.
Looking forward to it! But it still will take some time I guess since the Roadmap says Q1 2018... So this can still mean that it takes another 3 months from now!

should'nt be too hard to write a smart contract for this... But need of use of a currency with lower fees, like ethereum
