Re: Why should people use Bitcoin?

People should use bitcoin because bitcoin can give a lot to people who do not have it all but want or deserve to have it all i think it is the best thing to let people know more about bitcoin before they actually start with it because it can go very wrong.

Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

Had to go dark for a few days doing some international travel. Just arrived to Ho Chi Minh and checked in on the bitcoin shop on Bui Vien. They've got a 2 way bitcoin atm machine and a crypto counter buying and selling the top 15 or so. The limits were fairly decent per transaction , about 10k.
This is my game changer.  No longer will I need to travel with stacks of cash, dodge or declare to customs.
Glad I missed the Wu-Ver-Wright FUD. Not expecting it to be over quite yet although I'm not even concerned about it.  Go Bitcoin!
[imghttp://https://s1.postimg.org/90psfio8hb/20171112_105017.jpg[/img]

This is what I am most excited about.  Carrying stacks of cash from country to country is sketchy.  I've had 4 different currencies on me at once before.  Exchange rates and fees are often unreasonable.  Crypto is going to make things so much easier.  This post brought a shimmer of light to me in the otherwise dark weekend in the bitcoin world.

yup, one of best use cases today ... talking about punchable faces, those guys in intimidating uniforms hanging on to the leashes of cash-sniffing dogs have got to be right up there?
This would be a great idea for every country people will also know about it because it is also a little advertising and you can cash out easily with this machine so you do not have to even do it through the internet and do a lot of stuff.

I do not know how to trust airdrops because some airdrops gave me a lot and some still have not given me anything but i can say it is worth the try because with the most airdrops you only need to fill in your btctalk name and your mew adress.

Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair?
by
Roffendahl
on 13/11/2017, 09:41:19 UTC
No i do not think that it is fair because we pay a lot but on the other hand if you cash out a lot at the same time it seems like nothing is lost so i would suggest to just pay the fee because we do not have any other option then just to pay the fee.

Bitcoin could have been the #1 and solved all the problems. Instead, it retards itself to 6 tp/s and has been taken over by the likes of Adam "I invented Bitcoin" Back, Gregory Maxwell the Wikipedia troll and Luke "I think the Sun revolves around the Earth" junior. Literally a trio of Retards, at the end of the day they are nothing more than useful idiots who receive their paychecks directly from the Banksters that Bitcoin was invented to destroy. They will go down in history as Liars, shills and idiots who held back Crypto's potential for years and forced the rise of altcoins and bitcoin cash. Oh well. I guess it doesn't matter - We are going to win anyway.

Don't you think you are stressing the scaling debate a little too much?

Biggest blocks could be a solution, but segwit should work too, and if properly developed I think is a much more elegant solution than biggest blocks.

Altcash seems to me even more centralized than core, but what I really think is that there are no evil bankster behind any side, just some pression groups who want to achieve their interest. Zero trust environment, as usual, with powerful personalities both sides, but no evil jew banksters.

I'm glad you buyed @20 usd, I buyed a year later @1000, mined at loss and I have made little profits, but I don't think your "i'm rich in bitcoin" argument is valid when it comes to scaling debate.

I think that everyone should possibly be able to run a full node on a raspberry in afghanistan, this is very important, why you think that 8x tx/s are more important than this? And what happens when 8mb block are full? Don't you think we are going to buy our coffee with 8 mb blocks right?

I'm not rich at all, but my point is that many thousands are getting into bitcoin just recently because of it's increase in popularity, they read censored forums which are intentionally manipulated and then they are engaging in obvious groupthink psychological manipulation - This is a pretty obvious tactic that has been often used by various intelligence agencies of the world. People who got into BTC earlier, IE 2011-2012 generally aren't as likely to fall for Blockstream's manipulation, censorship and misinformation tactics. And those are the ones who are now being ostracized from the community. This points to a complete rewrite of the original BTC community, it's intentions, its code, its purpose, and its future. Satoshi's Bitcoin is dead. Now it's BlockstreamCoin - A Bitcoin NOT meant to compete with FIAT, or meant to compete with banks, but rather a settlement layer for the Rich and a speculator toy to play around with on exchanges. That's Blockstream's vision. Forget about the masses. Blockstream firmly believes that FIAT is superior to Crypto (after all that's what they get paid in) --- and Bitcoin should just be a settlement layer primarily used by the already-Rich and Speculators. Christ, I can't believe it even has to be argued - it's so obvious that Blockstream are the corporate takeover of Bitcoin that it makes my eyes bleed.
Less words that say more, and paragraphs.
Haha you are right he could have said it in lesser words took me like 5 minutes to read everything and understand it but can we just not talk about Christ around here? that is so inappropriate for all the Christians around here.

Actually i think you mean i never stop trusting in bitcoin because buying does not seem that smart if you keep buying what will you earn after you sell you need to stop buying and invest in other coins with your bitcoins that you already have.

Re: What is your best investment strategy?
by
Roffendahl
on 10/11/2017, 09:02:22 UTC
Buy low sell high that is the most common strategy for all of us i would say that it is very simple but hard because bitcoin price is very unstable and you do not know when it can go low or high i would suggest to just buy it once and wait till it gets higher than the price you bought it for.

Just let them go if they do not believe in it than that is their problem the biggest advantage that we have is that we believe in it and that is why i want to say to all of us than you for believe in bitcoin because that is making it grow.

Re: Difference of Trading and Investing?
by
Roffendahl
on 06/11/2017, 09:05:32 UTC
In trading you can know more about other coins and also make profit out of them and fast profit too and in investing you can only wait till the price goes to what you want it to be and you can make profit then trading is faster if you want fast profit but it is also risky.

Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now?
by

on 03/11/2017, 09:19:38 UTC
No I am not surprised i knew that bitcoin would go to 10k. Some people think that bitcoin will go to 50k and experts are also saying this. Bitcoin is unstable so i think it will be possible for btc.

This is also why i collect now more bitcoins. I focus now mostly on bitcoin.

Re: BTC near 7000$
by
Roffendahl
on 02/11/2017, 09:50:04 UTC
According to the financial press, BTC has a fair chance to reach 10k before mid-2018.
If institutional money starts pouring in, the sky is the limit.
John McAfee has made a statement regarding bitcoin, claiming that each unit will be worth $500000 in three years time.
He added that he'll eat his *** on national TV if his price target isn't reached withind that time frame.

Mcafee is full of shit. do you believe? 500,000$

I believe it mostly because bitcoin is unstable. Do you know what unstable means ? It can go very high and it can fall down very hard in a short time. So i would not be surprised when it hits 500k.

Experts are saying this by the way. Not the people on the streets but experts.

Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers?
by
Roffendahl
on 23/10/2017, 08:18:02 UTC
A wallet could be hacked. If you download something on the internet it may can have a wallet stealer in it. The wallet stealer then searches your computer for your keys.

If the wallet stealer founds it he uploads it to the hackers computer. This is how the most hackers work.

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?
by
Roffendahl
on 13/10/2017, 08:57:01 UTC
Definitely YES. Look what happened in ethereum, remember last January? when 1 ethereum is just only 10$ and then now, 300$ each ethereum. Those opportunity is really happy, we need to risk something. Altcoins with have a big supply are one of most have future. Specially altcoins with many projects and owned a very active team.
That's sound good! But I think that there are just some of altcoins will rise up in the future. Most of them aren't value.

Rally, Thats good sounds

Yes ETH has a future for me, because it has a good team working on it. Every altcoin can become good if they have a professional team working on it and it need also a good supply.

If they have this they would surely do good in the future and now. There are also coins which they don't have a future they only get pumped and they will go down again.

Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin

The moment you could have bought some bitcoin when the price was at 3200 dollars. Bitcoin was falling very hard if you had seen that you would have invested in it.

I have invested when bitcoin was at a price of 3800 dollars. So I am now making money for nothing.

I think that it is smart to put money above all things but it will cost you happiness, Wich you can buy again with the money you used to lose happiness. I know this may be confusing but what i am trying to say is that no matter how much you lose, most of the time you can buy it back Smiley. #bitcoin

Re: What wallets do you use?
by
Roffendahl
on 10/10/2017, 13:40:01 UTC
Blockchain.details is my preferred wallet, but the dilemma of transaction costs and delayed confirmations manufactured me adjust wallets. I am at present making use of a bitcoin wallet deal with on poloniex.com to store bitcoin
What? Really?
Why would anyone store their Bitcoins in exchanges that too with poloniex. If you day trade then it may be helpful but if you are holding Bitcoins then please get that out of poloniex and move to any safer wallets which provide you private keys.
Yes like the blockchain wallet, i am using blockchain wallet wich gives you private keys and i never had any problem with it. I even think that blockchain will be the most trusted wallet in the future because a lot of people are already using it and i haven't seen any problem with it yet.

Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?
by

on 02/10/2017, 09:29:39 UTC
It is a good alt for having more money you can make more money out of it when you invest in ETH. They say that ETH will suprass bitcoin and will takeover his place damn that would be very awesome everyone would then sell their bitcoins and purchase some ETH, and ETH would be very high so we would have more profit yeah. I would then invest again to have more money out of investing in ETH and so on and on i would have a lot of money.
