This is an interesting coin. Hope the dev team can develop the coin and reinforce a strong roadmap.
What is the best miner to mine Dnr at the moment?

I use ccminer.... Works great for me with nvidea cards.....

Where can we find more information about this unique idea?

I do not see anything much about it as others have written.......

A pity as good information is key to success in my opinion.....

With Altcoins it is a up and down all the time.

Denarius still has a long way to go.
I will accumulate in weak times and try to sit on all DNR I have for a long time  Grin

In any exchange  in real world..(stock or crypto).. there are traders and investers

traders look for short term gains. Worried more about  intra day gain/ loss ..weekly g/l etc..

Investers target mid / long term.. either loose a lot or become rich..

In reality we need both traders and investers to keep volume high

Very true words!

This is the way of investment in all walks of life......

While staking, sometimes i get rewards which are not accepted, why is that ?

Let us say you stake and and the current block is #999. Then one of your unspent inputs stake and produce block #1000. Then someone else mines block #1001 and confirms the block you generated and your reward is safe..

Another scenario: Current block is #999. You stake and produce #1000, which is propogated into the network.
But at the same time (roughly) a guy named Charlie stakes or mines block #1000 as well (this happens because your block #1000 is not propogated to his node yet).
Now, depending on who creates block #1001, it can either build upon your block or the block mined by Charlie. And if block #1001 builds on Charlies block #1000, he gets his reward and your block gets orphaned leaving you with no reward.

This was written in a hurry, but I hope it helps.

Hi, I know this is an old post, but thanks for the explanation of how Orphans are created......

Partizanai, thanks for your reply, your are correct with that timing you mention there is plenty of time, thanks for the good news. BTW I have ventured away from eth already, but I guess now is the time to return with the last price I saw.....

Why 6gb cards?

that's what he wanted to do, what would you have suggested?

I built my rig using 3 gb cards.

Would be interesting to know the performance difference between 3gb and 6gb.

I did read that people say you need the 6gb soon because of the size of Ethereum’s DAG file.

....but I forget the estimated date for this to be an issue.....

....comments?

Hi,

This has gone away from the original topic, but still interesting.....

just thinking about electricity costs in other places too, not only South America.

Would anybody like to share their prices?

For me here in Czech Republic I work on approx. 0.1 USD per unit (kW)

Hi guys,

Great article. As mentioned some information and help that is nowhere else.

Have not mined eth for a couple of months now, maybe time to get back to it with some mods to the rig and setup.

Thanks for this great work and help for others.

One question, do you have the same detail for setting up NVIDIA cards or does everybody stay clear of using with them for eth?

How profituable to mine?
When its going to https://whattomine.com?

Which miner are you guys using?

Mining around 3000 VUC / day on a rig with 6 1080TI, pushing 470mh/s with the nist5 optimized miner posted in this thread. Thats around 0.00820356 BTC a day.

which pool are you using?
thanks

https://mining-enthusiasts.net/vuc/index.php

This is a great pool, only 0.25% mining fee.
