Thank you for the replies. I went ahead and flashed braiins OS onto the old control board so I could change each hashboard settings individually in case the old firmware that was loaded (from 2017) couldn't handle mixed boards. The old boards said version 3.x and the newer one 4.x. All seems to be working fine with this setup. It does seem that the new board runs cooler than the two older ones, so I have had to underclock the old ones to keep all around 90degreesC ( poor temps due to this test unit is in a vented sound reduction box and also inside a small outside room :/)

I have a s9 that has a failing hashing board. This s9 is an early 11.5th model, but I have a hashing board from a 13.5th unit to use as a replacement. I plan on learning how to flash a new os like brains to the controller. My question is will the os be able to handle the mixed batch boards?

I have been running these s9s on "free" power for several months in a spare room, but need to get rid of them before the heat arrives.
Would prefer to get rid of at least 2 of them. If interested also have a 30 amp fused power distribution unit and a metered whip box I made. The PDU plugs into the meter box with a L6-30.
The s9s have been running fine except for one of them requires a reboot about once a week because one of the hashing boards stops showing up occasionally until after a reboot.

I have powered a s9 with the bitmain psu in USA on 120 volt outlet. According to watt meter was pulling 12.5amp and 1510 watts. S9 was hashing fine at 13.7th and good temp. However I would imagine that was pushing the psu pretty hard, but it did run ok for 2 weeks.

Be very careful with selling this sort of item on ebay. User above is right in that ebay/paypal has strong BUYER protection while leaving sellers such as yourself little protection.

 From what I've read paypal has been willing to let buyers have 180 DAYS to file a return! And that is even if you put No Returns in the listing.

Other scenarios could be that a hacked/fraudulent paypal account is used for this high value item. Paypal will eventually realize the mistake and take your money back by charging your credit card on file or bill you even after you have shipped the item.

Also, I have tried to sell miners on ebay before but paypal was going to hold the funds for 21 days yet expect me to still ship within a business day.

So just giving you heads up. Escrow sells here may not net you price you want but is the safest for both buyer and seller.

I believe I read two options. Solder wire directly to that pin in PCB connector. Which I could probably manage.
But I'd rather have it fixed the right way with replacing. I've read getting the old connector to de-solder is difficult for a novice due to the pins pulling the heat away.
So the right fix for this may be out of my scope of practice.
