Re: I need help about Bitcoin

BTC is a little above $5,000 now. Can I still buy it? Is there any chance that it would rise further before the end of the year?

Today's bitcoin prices shocked many people including me, in the last 24 hours bitcoin prices rose to nearly $ 1000, this is something that happens beyond expectations, I predict the price will reach $ 5000 at the end of this month, but it happens faster and even beyond the price I predict. this is certainly very good for us. and I think the opportunity to invest with bitcoin is always open, so it does not matter if bitcoin prices reach $ 5000, because it will keep going up and the possibility of bitcoin reaching $ 10000 is huge by the end of this year or the next year.

Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin?
by

What if POKEMON GO let people sell the pokemons they caught for fraction of Bitcoins?

Imagine this:

(user loyalty reward program)
A person caught a Pokemon and sell them for 0.0003526 BTC

People who collects Pokemon can buy or sell them on the online marketplace.
People from all over the world would have exotic rare pokemons for sell on the marketplace.

----------------------------------
I'm sure other augmented reality video games companies are jumping on board to develop 'earn while you play' video game loyalty reward system.

I think that is interesting and good idea to try. people will be more excited about finding bitcoin if bitcoin can be gained by playing games, we can look for bitcoin while enjoying the games I think that is a nice thing. I'm actually not really interested to play Pokemon Go, but if I can get bitcoin with playing this game, I think I'll try it. Smiley

I don't care about what people say, I just believe something that has been proven and I think so far bitcoin has given me proof not just wishful thinking. and that is the reason why I decide to choose it and invest my money to bitcoin, I will never hear the words of those who say they are the most correct. if they have their own opinions then I also have different views with them.

Feel free to free your thoughts bitcoiners Cool. We are aproaching a major point of the bitcoin bull run so now let's watch the bitcoin rally very very close.

All I want now is bitcoin prices to keep going up, because if the bitcoin price keeps going up I'll get a big profit from my bitcoin right now. and it looks like my expectations come true because today the bitcoin price reaches $ 5700 very close to $ 6000, bitcoin prices continue to break the record all time high at the last 24 hours.

Can bitcoin take Fiat's place in time? Suppose it does? Can govetment step in and stop this program?

I don't think so, in my opinion bitcoin and fiat money are used in different places so we still need both, now fiat money is still the main choice of people especially those who live in village or remote areas because at this time it's use is more effective, and on the other hand the use of bitcoin still limited to internet connection. so I think we still need both.

Re: Should I expect BTC dump before another fork?

I think a good option you can do is put your money to bitcoin, but my advice do not put it all, you can determine how much you will put. Today the bitcoin price has reached $ 5200 and that is the price we are looking forward to, it's like a dream come true, if the same thing happens when the first hardfork, certainly the bitcoin price will continue increase after the second hardfork.

Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?

My story about bitcoin started when I was in my second year in my university, my friend introduced bitcoin to me and invited me to join and invest my money to bitcoin, because bitcoin is new breakthrough and a very promising in the future. Like most people, at first I doubt it and still consider what he says, time goes on until finally one day he shows what he got from bitcoin and I think his money was very much and he say it's comes from bitcoin, after that I'm sure started joining bitcoin and started looking for my first bitcoin.

is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

I think it's very risky, because bitcoin prices are very fluctuating so it make the big risk, but if you have the courage to do it, do it buddy it's doesn't matter, you will get big profits if your investment is big too.

One of many factors causing bitcoin banned because bitcoin is considered a threat by the government, and this case happened in China and Bangladesh, in other side bitcoin is cryptocurrency haven't no tax so the government can not take a profit from bitcoin. I think bitcoin is not a threat, even bitcoin is a great opportunity for the country to get better.

Re: Serious topic: how can we be sure Bitcoin will not be banned by most countries?

Hi,
First of all, I am a holder, and Bitcoin is for me is an investment, I intend to hold for at least 5 years, so the question asked in the topic title is the last thing in the world I want.
That being said, with China, and now this rumor about Russia, I have to ask this question: how do you deal with the possibility that one day Bitcoin could be illegal in most countries?
Is it a possibility?
It is likely/unlikely?

All opinions are welcome.

Regards.

I hope that will not happen, but if we have to face the worst possibility that will happen and if one day bitcoin banned in many countries, then what I will do is I will still collect bitcoin, and if my bitcoin pretty much, I'm going to vacation in a country that still legalized bitcoin and redeems the bitcoin I have there, I think that's a pretty good choice.

Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday?
by
Roman Abraham
on 11/10/2017, 04:39:38 UTC
Hi guys,
Just curious.
I bought a little bit a few months ago, for the first time, for the sole reason that I want to invest in Bitcoins, and get a profit after 5 years, maybe 10 years.
So I would not need to check the price everyday, as it is of no use for me. But I do, can't help it!

I am not the only one I guess.

The same thing I do, every day I always look the bitcoin prices, see the increase and decrease of bitcoin prices at any time. sometimes when bitcoin prices go up and I think it will be profitable, I will sell my bitcoin. and if there is a price decline then I do hold and wait for the price back stable. practically this has become my daily activity.

Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency
by

I don't think so, cryptocurrency and fiat money have their respective advantages and disadvantages, on the one hand cryptocurrency is better than fiat money but on the other side fiat money is better than bitcoin. For example if we want to buy daily necessities fiat money is a good choice, but if we want to do digital transactions in bulk, bitcoin is the right choice because of low fee.

Re: What is the best method to store gold/silver/precious metals/jewels/etc
by
Roman Abraham
on 10/10/2017, 23:20:30 UTC
I know some of the regular posters in this section are pro gold.

Probably one of the biggest obstacles to people investing is gold is not knowing where or how to store it to ensure safety.

What is the best method of storing gold/silver? Would you recommend keeping it in a personal safe? A safety deposit box at a bank? Burying it in the ground somewhere late at night where no one will ever find it pirate style?

Also what insurance options are there? Do banks insure safety deposit boxes past $100k?

Law enforcement confiscating money/precious items seems to be on the rise. Are there any tips for avoiding having gold/silver confiscated?

I would be interested to hear thoughts on this as it could represent one area where gold/silver might be considered less preferable to crypto.

I think Gold storage is a problem especially if we have a lot of gold. my advice if gold has passed 100 grams, don't store it at home unless we put in safe deposit box and our house have high security system. Because gold is an object that very targeted by thieves. another way is we can entrust our gold to the bank that provides a special place for gold storage. and is usually placed in a special place of high security so it is very safe.

Re: Bitcoin to get to $5,000 before end of this week!
by
Roman Abraham
on 09/10/2017, 23:58:45 UTC
I have seeing a very strong buying signal across most of the exchangers platforms and I think $5000 is already at hand.  Currently bitcoin's price is at $4607 and if we get another serious push again we may break the resistance at$4950 area. I have also See MACD and relatively strength index showing a very strong bullish momentum.

Actually I don't expect much bitcoin prices will reach $ 5000 by the end of this week, because bitcoin prices are not currently stable, at least right now bitcoin price is $ 4700, but I'm expecting bitcoin prices to reach $ 5000 will happen then end of this month, and reach $ 6000- $ 7000 at the end of this year.

Re: Criminality and Bitcoin
by

I think right now the use of bitcoin is mostly used for something natural, although there are some people who use this opportunity to commit crime using bitcoin, such as buying drugs, and other types of illegal crimes. this is indeed one of the shortcomings of bitcoin, the person do this because bitcoin transactions are anonymous in which we can not know who is doing the transaction so they feel safe because the police will be very difficult to find them. but I think there are many positive things that can I do with bitcoin and I am trying not to commit a crime with my bitcoin.

If we look at bitcoin prices today, I think it's amazing, bitcoin prices have gone up in recent days and today it have reached $ 4800, now the price is very close to $ 5000. and with what's happening right now I think bitcoin can reach $ 5000 in this month. Maybe in time there has been a massive bitcoin purchase that made the price go up drastically.

Now it is very difficult to see bitcoin prices fall under $ 3000, if we wait for it we will never have a chance to get big profit from bitcoin, bitcoin prices are currently stable at $ 4300, if want to buy it now is the time, especially at the end of this month will be done second hardfork, if this is successful then it will be sure price of bitcoin increase even exceed $ 5000, if this happens then who buy bitcoin at this time will get big profit by the end of this year.

Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future?
by
Roman Abraham
on 07/10/2017, 03:13:41 UTC
I don't think so, because bitcoin is different with Yahoo, bitcoin is a digital currency that appears as an alternative choice besides fiat money, even bitcoin has the potential to replace fiat money in the future. Yahoo was eliminated because of the emergence of Google as a rival and with innovation Google continues to grow and become search engine of the society's main choice. Today we see bitcoin also growing and bitcoin developers innovating with the first successful hardfork will even be followed by a second hardfork by the end of this month. This proves that bitcoin is capable of developing so I think it will not be the same fate with Yahoo.

Re: Which one to buy? Stocks Houses Gold or Bitcoin or Bonds?
by
Roman Abraham
on 06/10/2017, 11:01:14 UTC

Above screenshot shows post-Christmas 2013 thru March 31, 2017:

Which one to buy??

Breakdown of performance for that period (in USD terms):
Bitcoin/USD: +80%
S&P 500 Stocks: +30%
Real Estate (REITs): +26%
Gold: +3%
Bonds: +1%

(Note: Bitcoin performance suppressed due to post insane Chinese-run in late-2013)

[EDIT: Updated chart below thru to early August BTC roughly 3200usd back then):

If I have a lot of money and are given the option to vote, I will confidently choose to invest my money for bitcoin, I will buy as much bitcoin as many predict that bitcoin prices will rise again later this year. even if I have to wait until 2018, I will do so. the reason is because bitcoin price will continue increase. This is bitcoin, long term investment.
