Apa itu Cypherium?
Cypherium adalah sebuah perusahaan layanan teknologi blockchain, member dari institut Digital Currency diketahui juga sebagai Official Forum of International Monetary and Financial Institutions (OMFIF), dan US Faster Payment Council dibawah Federal Reserve, Cypherium telah menyediakan solusi pembayaran kliring untuk Federal Reserve, dan juga partner dari Societe Generale untuk uji coba CBDC

Bagaimana Cypherium bekerja?

Cypherium menggunakan struktur dual-chain dan konsensus hyprid yang hampir sama dengan pertambangan tradisional Bitcoin berbasis POW (Proof of Work) namun menggunakan dua fungsi yang berbeda. Pertama, pertambangan yang melibatkan pemilihan pemimping dimana dialah yang bertanggung jawab untuk menghasilkan blok baru. Kedua, Pertambangan yang bertanggung jawab untuk memverifikasi transaksi yang terjadi didalam blok.

Teknologi Cypherium memecah dua proses yang menjadi dua blockchain berbeda agar dapat meningkatkan keefisienan keduanya. Election Chain (Rantai pemilihan) menggunakan POW (Proof of Work) pemimpin untuk membuat blok baru, sementara transaction chain (Rantai transaksi) menggunakan konsensus HotStuff untuk memverifikasi data transaksi yang terjadi didalam blok tersebut. Membangun protokol Bitcoin-NG dan ByzCoin blockchain Cypherium dioptimalkan untuk skalabilitas on-chain dan pertambangan permissionless melalui pendekatan hybrid untuk konsensus ini.



Pencapaian
Di 2019, menurut website resmi dari Federal Reserve, Cypherium sudah menyerahkan solusi sistem kliring kepada Federal Reserve, Menjelaskan rincian bagaimana cara menggunakan performa tinggi jaringan blockchain Cypherium untuk membantu Federal Reserve mencapai pembayaran dan penyelesaian yang lebih baik.

Cypherium adalah salah satu anggota dari US Faster Payments Council diinisasi oleh Federal Reserve. Anggota ini sebagian besar termasuk perusahaan finansial seperti Visa, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs dan JPMorgan Chase. the reason is they will launch the Ethereum 2.0 and changes their ecosystem from POW to POS,
