Whenever I spend times to read about an altcoin on forums or boards, or even read their announcements, they always promise to be better than Bitcoin and faster and simpler to use with lower fees and everything but there is still no altcoin that actually surpassed Bitcoin and it probably there won't be anytime soon.

Yeah, it probably feels like the right move to stay away from the "oldtimer, sluggish grandpa Bitcoin" for some lower transactions. But I totally do not agree, taking away the most appreciated cryptocoin of them all is probably a mistake. I've never heard a conversation about a crypto without someone mentioning Bitcoin. It's like an example who serves to everything else and you can't just deny it's existence.  

Bounty involved or not, I am really sorry that I cannot help you in any given way. I am only posting here to tell you that from what I know about Bittrex, if your posts get attention your issue will be soon resolved because they do not want to make themselves look bad in public. Maybe you should try twitting someone who is well known and has some sort of influence in hope that he will expose your issue publicly. If money can buy it I think it won't do any good. Only the rich people will survive and the poor will be left to die and the Earth's population could be like 80% less in a matter of decades. Also, from a scientific point of view I believe everything is possible and could be engineered. Is there anyone that can convince me that there is no immortal genes created by now? With all the technology out there and the huge amounts of money making science go round every single thing imaginable is possible.

These movements are normal, especially during the holidays when people take out some fiat for gifts.
There is no need to panic, I am positive everything will go back to normal after the holidays.

You are correct , mining Bitcoin is pretty much useless on a PC , you need ASIC for that.

You can also check https://electroneum.com, which tries to bring mining to smartphones

All the wallets that have been mentioned are fine, just be sure you always have access to your private key, for example, when contributing to an ICO never contribute from an exchange wallet ( you are not in control of the private keys )

I am sorry to hear that you got scammed. Those kind of websites that promises you to double your money are not to be trusted. I hope you will be more careful in the future.
