This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Судя по информации, Форк прошел успешно, все пулы обновлены, кошелек версии 3.0.1 работает нормально.
Тестовые транзакции проводил лично, все норм.

Its just my opinion and my price which i want pay for nothing (right now IRD - nothing), Original Dev gone from this project, Someone start pool and down it due vacation Its not good news for coin I tell before: maybe soon 1 IRD will be more then ZEC once going to excchanges, but now - its my price for someone who want get real money for nothing. )))

Ussualy wallet sync in 5-10 min, depend on your speed. So, thats mean sync not going yet, please read this post:

This mean you have no boost libs installed, but how you build binary?

Big problem there is not one of node alive not just some nodes need update this list a soon as possible, maybe need put there all nodes which network have now, this will be best then five or six dead nodes Also i think network need some option to generate actual node list and use this list via wallets and nodes, this will be best way then staticly bind IPS in sources...

I have a lot servers where is can setup node but one problem there , most of this servers in same AS where i already setup node, not sure if network need a lot nodes in same AS...
Please let me know if few nodes in same AS is good.
If yes, i can setup few more, different ips and servers will be used.

I hope very soon we will provide complete list of nodes which be stable more then current. Once we done with this ird developers will update wallet and node package.
Like a fast solution developers should put some start scenario into OS's packages, like start.cmd (or .bat , or .... for other OS) where some nodes be listed by default by using "--add-peer" argument.

Also i have idea to build dynamic list of nodes which needs put somewhere in web, not sure if this is good idea but need think about this with developers.

1. I setup node few days ago, this process use nothing ... )) Around 2 GB space now (but will grow in future).
2. If you very luck boy then you just can install it via docker, but i can't do that, i build from sources ird daemon and boost libs. But if you want setup node for IRD i will try help.

But i should back to our question with seeds list(i ask in private).

Seed nodes, which builded in source code are not correct or works long time ago yet, this is my investigation:

This looks like "default peers" which used automatically, but not one of this IP list actual right now, look this, i will check step by step.

My node works with --log-level=4, like i see this is maximum debug mode.

I collect some data into logfile and now cat operate with this info:


Other 3 ips not matched yet in logs, this mean this nodes or never exist or die long time ago.

So, what this mean ? When you setup node your cant reach any of peer.

Sure, you can use option "--add-peer" when you start your node, but how new peoples who start nodes know IPs which need use? I just can get list of peers when stevebrush take me IP of his own node and port, then i can connect to network, sync chains and get full list of current peers... but i have no idea how new peoples will do that.

Since today i will collect and analyze logfile for get list of most stable nodes which then developers need put into source code, i hope one week its good time, i found more then 60 nodes now, but part of this nodes can be "test node" or something else.... i will collect data and then check which ips used more time then rest... So, i hope this help.

If you want start node today, you can use my node as peer, just add this into your start cmd --add-peer 104.234.216.118:12007.
Maybe someone who read this forum and have stable node will put his IP there.

Also, i done with node without docker, install into my OS, CentOS 7. If someone need this i can help.
