Lets face it; Bitmain is in it for the money.  Capitalism Rules in communist China.
While they have a great track record of customer service, Bitmain has not been entirely honest with their customers and distributors.
Watch your 6 when dealing with these chinese based companies; greed is a powerful motivator.  Your interests are of no concern to them (unless you have a wallet full of money).

Just wanted to post an update on my BTC refund situation. Months back, I accidentally overpaid by 2x the amount on an order due to blockchain.info issues at the time.

Ive been hammering bitmain w/ emails and been getting responses off and on since then about a refund of the overpaid amount. Initially it seemed they understood I wanted the BTC returned to my addy but they instead credited my account w/ a coupon of the overspent amount which is what I didnt want.
I never did spend the coupon and proceeded to keep hammering them w/ emails, finally this morning I woke up to find the overspent amount back in my wallet.

Finally bitmain came through =)

Now, the moral dilemma , to spend the coupon that still sits on my account for the overspent amount and consider it 100% interest for holding my btc for months....or not use the coupon at all =P

Your an Honest man.   +3 to you...
I think they should take back the coupon, and then send you a BITMAIN T-Shirt for being so honest.
Then send me one as well for suggesting this.   Cool

In Stock Again.

Let me guess not profitable at $400, so it's out of stock.  Soon as it's >$450, magically in stock again.

It's a miracle!   Cheesy

I think Ninjatech has S1 in stock

Usually Ninjatech orders directly from Bitmain though.  So, if Bitmain is out of stock, then Ninjatech is too.

When I ordered from Ninja, the label said it's from Shenzen China, not Arizona where Ninjatech is based.

You probably right ChuckBuck.
Ninja wrote something about having new/used units available, so I thought he might have them in stock.
Why do you think the S1 are geting hard to find?  Bitmain stop making them?

They probably winding down S1 inventory, to ship more S2's instead.

They're also probably working on their next generation miner at the same time.

Probably    Smiley

Your looking in the wrong area.  Check your cards for cold solder joints.
Symptoms you describe are indicative of this....  "leave it switched off for 30 min or more and turn it back on for some 5-10 min it hashes normally until the errors come again. "
Your ciicuit simply Heats up then errors begin because of the added resistance from the cold solder joint.

Cold solder joint looks Dull compared to a normal solder joint.  Sort of like a stainless steel mirror looks compared to a glass mirror.  (best analogy I could think of)

Anyway If your not sure what you are looking at, take a solder iron and touch\heat up each and every joint so they just melt and then solidify again. (They should look shiney) This will likely fix your problem.
Do not add additional solder and be careful to not burn the board. Have the board laying flat when you do this.  A 25 watt solder iron should work for you;  one of those big soldering Guns might be overkill.

LOL
How many a1 you can sell me At 55 usd today next day delivery?
I am serious pm me please
Have in mind that you are selling 30 GH chip. I am not buying PDF specs Wink

If you could find that price for an authentic a1 chip, we could buy it from you and save a lot of cost and then make the JTminer more cheaper.

The price of JTminer is not as high as you think (The price on the website is outdated). We have already made a few deals. If you are a serious and reasonable buyer/distributor, you can drop an email to sales@jtminer.com or message skyfromwell for purchase inquires. The price will be dependent on the delivery date, number of units etc.

So you state:  "The price of JTminer is not as high as you think (The price on the website is outdated). "
Then I say, correct the website. Alternative would be for you to provide legitimate information for pricing here.
Break it out: like,   buy 1 = $xxx   buy 2= $xxxx  buy 5= $xxxxx    buy 10 = $xxxxxxxx .  It really isnt that hard.

Using your own words....  "If you are a serious and reasonable" and (to add on) legitimate seller post substantive information.
Stop with the riddles, the story telling, the evasive answers, the innuendo.   I have to say that attacking people questioning you does not put you in a good light
nor does it enhance your "TRUST STATUS".

I think you may have missed the boat on sales of your product.   Too bad, because at first I thought you might really have something good here.

Proverbs 11:24
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

2 Peter 2:3
And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

I've also referred this and similar threads regarding the importation and possession of these Chinese A1 miners to the FBI for potential North American customers for further legal clarification.

Just becareful. We may sue you for defarmation.

so if I understand - a forum member wants to get it clarified whether your product may be stolen physical/intellectual property, and you start throwing around words like libel, defamation, and threaten to sue?

I am walking away from this now - my trust in your product just went down dramatically.

this is too reminiscent of BFL_Josh...

The thread is titled "JingTian"...
Just to clarify; Is it JianTian or is it JingTian?  Wanting to make sure I am referencing the right entity when I pose my question below.
Guessing that it was just typoed in the post or the title....

And now to my question:
Are JointDoctor and jayson001 affiliated in any way with JianTian/JingTian)?

Just a quick post to give Minersource credit for issuing refund on X3.  Took a few weeks but check came in the mail and cleared.  Thanks for being legit.

Matt/Bobsag, As you continue to provide refunds, could I please have mine as requested multiple times? Thank you.

We are processing all the refunds sent to support@minersource.net.
If you submitted it- we havent forgotten, its just takes a while.

Also... we sell antminers as well... and unlike Ninja we have them in stock and not shipping form china Tongue (if hes going to jack the thread anyways)

Competition must be tough these days.  Ninja actually ships from Arizona and has them in stock.   Cool

There is plenty of factual information in this forum to justify having doubts as to the veracity of the claims made by skyfromwwell and seeksilence.  If the miner exists and is in production, Price would be too high to enter the market…. Delivery date is still not affirmed… No proof of inventory… legality (IP)…    Lot of storytelling and evasive answers by the miners representatives. I think this miner would be a lost cause.  You fellas just keep your Miners and continue mining bitcoin for yourselves.  It doesn’t really matter if it can be proven this is a legit company or a scam… From a business standpoint, this is not a good deal.

SeekSilence stated they are waiting for reviews from trusted members.  Checking around, reading different posts, and asking questions (as is my nature), I read some not so reassuring feedback.  As far as I am aware, None of these folks have a miner in hand at this time.

Lets see if you have an answer for this:
Provide some names of the "trusted members" that actually have a miner in hand; and as you  say, are reviewing and testing your miner.

For all anybody knows; you and skyfromwell (and a few other accounts here) could be one and the same person.

Hope still prevails.  However, Beginning to have serious doubts about you being legit.

@ujka  Could you please take your time to read the story? I am really curious about your real purpose here since you have followed our topic for a few days. We have already declared that we have no business with bitmine.

SeekSilence,
I think many of the forum members are curious about your real purpose here too.  Questions have been asked and you have provided some information; but have not been totally forthcoming.... slowly the story comes out. Why are you evasive concerning UJKA’s questions? Provide a legitimate answer concerning the chips.  Be honest and upfront, none of this story time Bullsh**.  You have to understand that Scams are widespread in Bitcoin right now. So, the more open and transparent you are the quicker the skepticism will disperse. This is business; proof is required. Otherwise you could be one of the most honest people in the world and no one will believe you. And because you have not established trust with potential customers, you will not be successful in business. What’s the hang up with providing a miner to someone for validation and verification of what you claim? The longer you wait, the less palatable your miners will be. Price is too high at this juncture and as time passes it will be increasingly MORE DIFFICULT to get ROI for your miner.  So reasonably, consider this; WHY would one invest in your miner (even if it were the best ever made) if they could not make ROI, much less make a profit?  You boys need to get your act together!

I am in progress of reviewing a unit form jtminer.
There are some interesting details that have come to light.
I do not recommend buying a unit until a trusted forum member such as myself verifies their legitimacy.

I haven't heard we have sent out the sample units yet. Maybe I need to get the information updated.

Since you and Skyfromwell  seem to be in business together, it doesn’t make sense that you would not know samples have been sent out...

What’s the chances of a forum member conducting an onsite visit to your production facility in China? Validation and verification... might build trust!
And your prices are too high; There is better bang for the buck with proven miners that are already in production and being shipped.
I imagine your miners are still in the testing and development stage; you have not ramped up production because you are taking pre-orders to
acquire working capital, and you have no standing inventory for immediate shipment.
How will you keep up with orders if you have nothing in inventory to ship?

Have one or two of these forum members conduct an onsite visit to your production facility in China; and you foot the bill.

We are in different place, so I need some time to get the feedback. Skyfromwell knows the first-hand information. His words are more powerful than mine.

From my feedback, we have already contacted several trustful members. We will send out our sample units in 1-2 weeks.  I apologize if my words confused you.

We are in mass production for 1200T miners.

Thank you for the clarification SeekSilence.
What are your thoughts on inviting one or two of these forum members to conduct an onsite visit to your production facility in China?

With Sushi, ninjatech.org, and 112bit... that makes three distibutors in US.  Is Bitmain coming out with something new?
Hello  Wink

Limited S1 units will be in sotck soon.
Open sales on Feb 14th 11:00 pm BeiJing time, GMT +8.
Shipment within 48 hours after full payment.

sold out again Wink
all orders will be shipped out on Feb.16.

next batch of S1 units will be stock on Feb 15th, open sales on Feb 15th 11:00 pm BeiJing time, GMT +8.

Sold out my ass.
There were a hundred people here constantly refreshing and trying to order one and nobody got the chance to.

Will there really be more for sale tomorrow?
And if there is at what price?

Because ordering tomorrow doesn't get in our possession until Thursday (if we are lucky) but by then the difficulty has increased.
The same goes for the ones who supposedly ordered all of the machines today.

How are the Ants going to make ROI from now on?

Looks like the US Distributor still has some in stock https://www.112bit.com/

Suggest you send a unit to a Trustworthy senior member of the community for testing and validation of your product.
Someone like GreaterNinja would be a good choice. I think a lot of people here would agree that he and his team at Ninjatech
have an establised business reputation for reliability, honesty, and technical proficiency within the community.
He could provide feedback to the community.

Hello all,
I will be ordering a unit Friday when my BTC get deposited.
2 questions.
-What else will I need besides Power supply? What is the most efficient/best one to get? I've read this thread and a few keep getting suggested. Feel free to share a link.
-What else will I need to have ready when this arrives to get up and running? Is there a support thread that I may have missed. I know Ninja is busy so I don't want to bother them things I can read about.  Thanks for the help.

Looks like Ninjatech sells a  "turnkey" system, Full bitcoin kit, on their webpage.

am I missing something? double the price for a psu, paperclip, and 2 power wires?

I would think the extra cost is for the service and time setting it up; not just the psu, paperclip, and 2 power wires.
For somone new and not sure what to do, it maight make sense to go that route.
