downloaded and deleted, this remind me his old project: Rcoin, which said it's a new coin with no blockchain

but it's totally fake!

how is it fake?

edit: I specifically deny any accusations of this project being fake. You can read the source if you still think it's fake.

Cryptexcoin: another scam
by

We've probably all heard of the tradecoine scam, and the people from there have brought you a brand new one!

cryptexcoin!

once again claims to have started in 2013, but WHOIS information shows otherwise.
you can't withdraw without depositing coins (which they will probably take).

ultimately, this is an obvious scam.

We've upgraded to 2.0.17.1c which fixes a minor bug in the GUI (litenote-tk issue #1)

An important update has been released that fixes this issue at block 2890.

So, this is a new messaging platform that doesn't allow sending to email addresses, only addresses within the blockchain, but without the adoption of email.

Why not actually make a mailserver with a @litenote.net domain name that allows sending, then uses a neural net based on other spam detected on the blockchain to build a database of spam to work with?

All you've really done here is make a crappy knockoff of chatcoin but not in realtime. I can do the same thing by sending 1 DOGE and putting a comment against the transaction.

Comments are not stored in the blockchain actually.

Email gateway software is planned.

Messages are received instantly, even if the coins received along with them are not confirmed yet.

how to start mining through litenote-cli.exe in windows?
litenote-gui.exe - does not work. Error Windows cannot find '--rpcpassword=null'

Mining should work in Litenote GUI.

For the CLI, create a .bat file: mining.bat

put inside:
Code:
:loop
litenote-cli --rpcuser=null --rpcpassword=null generate 1
goto :loop

run it

The daemon is still just flooding with this...

My server is running... but where do I configure the port?

If litenoted isn't running with rpcuser/rpcpassword set to null/null, then remove `--rpcuser=null --rpcpassword=null` from the generate command.

Sorry - got caught in the wrong part of the thread.

The dameon is constantly spamming that there is an incorrect password attempt as seen above.

Also, the GUI wallet is nothing but a blank window on my machine.

If you started the daemon seperately, you have to kill it before you can use the GUI wallet.

The GUI wallet sets up the daemon with the correct parameters

Mining will continue while the GUI is open

About

The future of communications is now. Traditional email has problems ranging from reliability to just too much spam. LiteNote (RSL), a cryptocurrency with support for built in email-like messaging, solves all these problems.

Using our new model, spam can be stopped just by ignoring it. Sending a message costs a small amount of LiteNote, and you get LiteNote whenever you receive a message. If you do not reply to spammers, they will eventually run out of LiteNote and be unable to send more spam.

Tradecoine recently posted an announcement in the Altcoin Discussion forum and it has been removed. It's a scam and here's why.

* Copyright dates on site claim it has been around since 2013. The domain was registered 3 days ago.
* Absolutely no information online.
* "Gives away" 0.0018 BTC, but you have to play a roulette game first. Unconfirmed: CONFIRMED you always "win"
* In order to withdraw, you MUST deposit 0.01BTC (WEW)

Site: tradecoine.net
Verdict: SCAM

I offer lifetime hosting on virtual servers: https://vpsforever.ronsor.pw

You pay one time and then you can host your server forever. You only need an email, username, and password.
It requires a bit more configuration, but you can setup your own web server and have full control.

I have started a new hosting company, called VPSForever. I provide VPS for the lifetime of the company (at least 1 year). You will never need to make another payment.

We provide VPS with and without dedicated IPv4 and all our infrastructure and servers support IPv6. Please note a dedicated IPv4 adds $15 to the cost of the VPS.

Please check out our plans. You can pay with Bitcoin or Litecoin. Instant setup and VPS are provisioned immediately after payment confirmation.
