How to be an elite delegate? Looks like you're taking over the network
dont vote for them. you give them voting power for doing nothing. cheap trick to get voting power
I think Elite group is doing many things to help Lisk ecosystem growing, hold LSK and don't dump Lisk price, attract more liskers to vote for 101 delegates, donate to Lisk communtiy, and more...
Lisk Awareness BCT Signature Campaign update: ★☆★ Current pot total 14,050.8 Lisk roughly $2248 ★☆★ (enough for 28 spots!) Collecting until Feb 6th at 18:00CET and begins 2 hours later. 20 stake lisk avatar bonus. 20 stake Lisk community meeting attendance bonus. Other bonus opportunities tba. Stay tuned! To donate send lisk to 5314981763917565789L with your delegate account. To join the campaign, go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1769101.0 and follow the directions.
Please consider voting for who made it all possible!

Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers
Best time to hold as things are moving and this rocket could be taking off soon. When the app SDK gets done we should see a lot of action here. Looking forward to the first ICOs for projects run on Lisk
I had been away for a while. Could someone explain whats going on with LISK? Is it still worth holding?
Indeed... as the amount of sidechains begin to grow, so will token demand; just like ETH. JavaScript Blockchains are destined to dominate the arena, it's only a matter of time now. IF you thought Ethereum's Solidity bloat-chain was handy, wait until you see Lisk sidechains popping up like spring daisies. No coding language matches the popularity of Javascript, not even close.
Yupe... totally agree.

Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Launch 9th August
We have reduced the estimated POW period from 6 months - 1 year to 10,000 blocks (6.9 Days) this was due to some security concerns I had after speaking with mining farm and pool owners. Like some have posted on the forum with a long POW period there are various scenarios that the Stratis network could have been susceptible to attack. We also could not foresee the ETC/ETH situation, ETC is another blockchain that we would have to compete with for hashrate.
After the 10,000 POW blocks the Stratis blockchain will transition to POS only, the interim wallet is based on blackcoin and utilizes its POSv3 Proof-Of-Stake algorithm. We have made the decision to utilize POSv3 in the Stratis full node framework, due to the fact it was developed for Bitcoin and has active development. FYI We will be rewriting POSv3 and implementing the changes required to integrate POSv3 into later versions of Bitcoin.
This is imperative for the security of the network that coins are minted and distributed during the POW phase.
25 txs per block ? well ... what if there will be 1000s transactions per minute?
1000 tx cost about $10 at ICO prices and $100 at IOU prices in network fees. At this moment it takes about 7 minutes to resolve 1000 tx.
That means the network will be very busy for that time, but the attack becomes very expensive after a while. After the tx are all processed, we are back to normal.
Over the next months the LISK price goes up (attack becomes more expensive) and the maximum tx per block is higher. Resulting in an even more expensive attack.
E.g. if the price goes to 50ct per LISK and the block size will be increased to 100 tx per block, 1000 tx cost $50 and take 100 seconds to resolve. That means making the Lisk network unusable for 10 hours will cost someone $18000.
100 tx per block is by far not the end. More are definitely possible. We also might introduce the use of an optional higher fee or a split of tx per block (old and new ones). There are many possibilities here.
I think the tx fee of 0.1 LISK in mainnet is expensive slightly.
I have some questions about pool delegates. How does this work?
Do you vote for a pool and do you get rewards based on the amount of votes you give (lisk you have)? Can you vote multiple pools for more rewards? How many pools are announced?
I guess we will see many pools if the rewards remain this high.
I'm running a forging node on testnet for now. lisker.io Vote for me and get reward(testnet LISK)
link your site.
thanks calculate reward for every voter daily and automatically on teswnet. payout will be activated if the reward balance is greater than or equal 1 LISK details please visit lisker.io
