No, they didn't remove sngs, they just never added the newest "2.0 jackpot sngs." You can still play on demand and some regular 9-max ones, I just checked- and I looked at my sharkscope. In July I played dozens of 7 dollar on demand plo8 sngs. These tourneys have 17 cents designated race fees that feed sit n crush. It is still happening! Anyway, tourney players= no rakeback, no rakerace, no player points. There is no excuse.

Right. Which isn't even a good thing in a bear market. Anyway, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. I was playing on demands and some of my rake had to be fueling sit n crush but instead, betcoin just pockets it. They fuck over everyone- players and affiliates.

I don't see why anyone would ever choose betcoin over any other wpn skin. You guys had one advantage back in the day- bitcoin deposits! And decent tourneys that were unique to your site, But now that the way more reputable and bigger skins let you deposit, some with dozens of different crypto, who the hell would play here? i lose almost all the benefits of the WPN. You all don't do sit n crush, I don't think the tourneys give rakeback, you all don't integrate with cash games... I came back to poker playing betcoin in July. I didn't realize just how awful you guys became, notice I'm not even talking about all the shady accusations I read. Regardless of those, theres absolutely no value there for me, and i regret wasting my time on your site instead of playing at bcp and acr in the first place. You all became a joke, a stale relationship that just brings longlost good memories.

Do not get me wrong, I appreciate new tourneys, but making minimum entrants 10 is a step back. keep it at 3 or bump up to 5, but not enough players on site to make 10 players. Once again I do like that you guys added a new couple tourneys but executed wrong

Somebody suggested passing this into the kernel line

init=/bin/sh rw

that caused this error

Failed to execute /init (error -8 )

and another kernel panic.

And to top this all off, I know that the volume isn't low enough for them to be delisted in the first place. I saw 1+ btc volume when someone made large sells the other day.

No clue, just noticed it got delisted and I'm looking for the announcement. I would have noticed it...
Their policies state they give you a 7 day warning and post the delisted coins on twitter, the main webpage, and their newsletter. I don't subscribe to their newsletter but it's not in the first two places.

Sure they were probably worthless from this point on but I still feel robbed by the exchange. Suppose it's a proper and funny way to end the fiasco but it doesn't sit well with me.

Yes, but they had one more day for everyone to get excited. I did not expect them to pull the plug that soon... something must have tipped them off that they had to quit right there.

Re: Dawkins: Immoral Not To Abort Down’s Syndrome Child
by

For the record, I partially agree with the stance that -- considering the availability of modern technology and genetic testing, and that <13 week abortions are basically just a specially induced menstrual period (and utterly overblown by religious zealots) -- government assistance should be reduced or somehow limited as a punitive response to irresponsible parenting decisions.

Why should tax-payers have to cough up 10,000s for a lifetime of special-ed and rehab, when the parents could just try again instead? In fact, they probably shouldn't try again, because it's probably an age-related problem and genetic diseases hit a brick wall when the parents are past around 36 years. If they really want to have a kid, adopt.

Incorrect. Age related genetic disease probability increases gradually. Depending on your definition of a wall, a woman still only has a 1% chance of Down syndrome at 40. Maybe at 45 they should stop trying.

I do admire Dawkins for what he's done for science and people's general scientific knowledge and I realize that everyone has the right to an opinion on this subject. That being said, I disagree that he says in a vacuum that it is immoral to have the child without looking at the circumstances specific to each case. There are many families that would be blessed to have a down syndrome child; many others that abortion would be the right thing to do. Don't think its a matter to be taken at 100% correct thing to do. Also if he's saying that it's immoral and unfair to the child to be born with Down's syndrome, I don't quite agree with this either. Down syndrome people will still feel joy in their lives and can still accomplish good lives.
