I can vouch for GAW Miners. They are great to do business with, they have always answered their phones and they have excellent customer service. The price has just been reduced from $189.95 to $159.95 for one gridseed miner. Also their 10 pack full gridseed miner was reduced to $1695.95 They carry a variety of products and are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Re: LightningAsic Gridseed Controller Firmware V3

Try the v1 bin image.
Thnx, working now!

ps: Did you consider implementing some kind of autotuning feature? Would be nice if the software would be able to automatically adjust the frequency per miner to get the highest shares / lowest hw errors.

By the way, new features coming up: auto frequency tuning, revamped mining algorithm (+30kh/s/miner), detecting the IPs of running LightningAsic controllers...

After 12 hours of mining @ Ghash.io, and that's on crappy internet...

I have one LA controller upgraded to V3 and another LA controller upgraded to V3c both work a lot better than the original versions 1 and 2. Great job on the new firmware. Looking forward to your next upgrade with auto frequency tuning. Thanks for efforts.

You guys should really try the new LightningAsic V3c miner software if you haven't already, it's designed to do one thing and one thing only, to get the most out of your Gridseed miners. If you don't have a Tp-link 703N, they are really cheap to get on eBay @ ~$20. Definitely worth the investment.

The firmware is released, please see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554542.0

Yes but be careful.  I updated mine to v3 and there are two major problems that have totally idled by units as a result:

1) dual mining (sha256 + scrypt) is gone, it is 100% scrypt now

2) they v3 firmware seems to be very picky about which pools it works with.  I can tell you that multipool.us and wemineall.com do NOT WORK.  I need to find a new pool to test it but for now I am down.

Actually it's the other way around, some pools are just really picky, for example they mark perfectly valid shares as invalid, or just time out the stratum for no reason at all.
So does that mean that you do not get paid for the false invalid shares.

v3 Firmware is already done though. No reason to not release it. And they are a business, of course they are interested in selling more miners. lol.

+1, I would imagine that things did not go as planned. There are images of the updated firmware in use so it should be released shortly.

Just want to tell Jack and his team, very very good work.
I have ordered several units, and i do certainly not regret it!
Answers have been slow sometimes, but the few problems i had was fixed in a very professional way.
I will keep on buying from you, since i know what customer service you actually give!Thank you for a good product, and great customer care.
 Grin Grin

I agree with you 100%. I am very satisfied in the way Jack has handled business with me and when it is time I will order a third time and continue doing business Jack and using his products.

any of you have experienced problems in the long run?
I Placed an order from 20pieces from HASHRA  Cheesy

I don't recommend them. I ordered through them because asiabtc was terribly slow at the time. Well, my experience with Hashra is no better and they aren't the cheapest anymore either. If I were to do it again, I would use Zoomhash.
Here is my situation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=441296.msg5739762#msg5739762

Concur 100% on the above - Hashra has been an absolute disaster on this end as well.

we are fast shipment now. and with good hash speed. new web store will be online very soon.

Have you released the new firmware for your LA controllers yet?

Don't ask him, that's my duty, but it should be released in 1-2 weeks
You mean do not ask him on this forum. Because I have been communicating with Jack through my on private email and a few times on this forums PMing system. By coincidence I am expecting my second delivery from DHL today. I do not intentionally over step by bounds on this forum because some members, to put it nicely get very touchy on some matters, so being fairly new to this forum I did not know what part you play. But I thank you for your response.

No problem, sorry if it wasn't clear but I am working for Jack, the new firmware is my task now.

I am glad Jack has some help, I happen to like his products and I never had a real problem with our transactions or his products, but its good to know that he his someone with experience to help him here. I am looking forward to working with you as far as firmware support. Thanks for the clarity.

Im sure others have notcied this.. But.

It seems like the units gain more and more speed the longer they run (untill the go idle/dead)

Anyone else seem to spot it? - any thoughts?

I agree with you and sometimes they can run for up to two hours before restart.

Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread

Has anyone figured out why one or more miners do not hash( shows 0 K hash/s and 0/0 blocks)on the dashboard. It seems like the usb hub is not working correctly. In my case it is only one miner but I had them all working and hashing , then after 24 hours of hashing, one miner always shows 0 k hash/s. I know it is not the miner, I checked each one individually.

Update: This morning I checked and just before they restarted themselves, the miner in question was mining at only 5 k hash/s and the rest average 325 k hash/s, after self reboot the same miner is at 0 k hash/s again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I was only able to set up 5 out of my 10 miners from Lightingasic because one of the power supplies were bad. The other 5 according to the LightingAsic dashboard, at 850 frequency, the miners are averaging 1700 khash/s, under status they are all running. But under the accepted section I get anywhere from one unit to four units that read 0% accepted. After about two hours the system log says, Please remove power, one or more miners are hanging. Then restarts but I am never able to get all the units to start accepting blocks. And according to my pool I have only earned .1099 Ltc in just under 24 hours. What I would like to know is if this is normal for now or are there some adjustments I can make to get all my miners to accept work?

The 0% is actually the reject rate.

Thanks for your response. So as long as I have 0% or close to 0% it is working correctly. I have all 10 miners on one psu and they are all running on scrypt only mode.
